This can go either way. If Batman has time to prepare, then he would probably win, because he would be able to create countermeasures for Spideys Powers. However, if Spider-Man caught him off guard, he would probably be able to win he battle just because of how good he is at fighting
(Here’s another edit, I want to say I’m talking about the characters in the picture fighting) If it was between all the characters in the picture, honestly Superman could beat all of them alone. He is way to overpowered for these matchups.
Edit : I forgot that Superman is weak against magic and would then get destroyed, but still, with characters like the flash, Wonder Woman, and Shazam, I still think DC would win.
Another edit : I forgot darkseid exists, and he is also pretty godly. We also have characters like doctor fate joining in on this, and the lantern core.
Even more edits : The infinity stones only work in their home universe, so if characters such as dark seid or dr fate teleport him out of his own, his powers will be useless.
Also this picture look amazing. I wish that I knew how to draw like this, the art style is just beautiful and the amount of detail you put in really makes it look nice.

tbh no batman without prep would still win and no superman would not be the reason they won cause in the comics hulk is superstrong to they would hold each other back and hulk would get enraged and get stronger i think dc would win because they have great strategist and i think the reason they would win would be because of wonder women the lantern core and batman superman of course will be a big reason but he will be haulted by hulk for a long time atleast and if the battle takes place at night. Batman and superman would come up with a plan hal would bring the lantern core in and batman would make plans to stop hulk and all the big hitters and batman would come in later on the fight.

KeatsQRST I disagree that Superman could beat everyone alone. Batman has beat him before both in comics and movie. Also let’s not forget Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet. In the comics Thanos fought off multiple gods and cosmic beings at once. Then there’s also the several other characters who could definitely hold off at least for a little bit.
I'm definitely more of a marvel fan but I must admit DC would win. It's just a fact that DC likes to make their characters stronger and marvel likes to make them more realistic and relatable . Cool concept though.
That's only in the *MCU* because in the comics there's certain characters (ghost Rider) that can only be defeated by god like characters and more *Marvel* characters have free access to alternative time lines and dimensions (Ant-man Doctor Strange)

To my mind, this comes down to a battle of the heaviest hitters of the characters in the drawing (I am talking comic universes, not cinematic universes), Thanos vs Darkseid. In this battle of supers, I feel it will likely be the last man standing who wins.
If this battle occurs in a Marvel-based universe, that means that Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet works (it only works in the reality it was born in, this is established in the comics and crossovers) and Marvel has a solid shot of winning this thing.
If the battle occurs in a non-Marvel reality, then (though this is oft debated) Darkseid has an edge over Thanos in powers and capabilities and, with the combined might of the other DC heroes (which are generally higher powered than the majority of Marvel heroes anyway) DC is likely to be the victor.
In the battle between Batman and Spidy specifically, I think between Batman's tactics and reflexes and Spidy's Spider-sense and super-strength that they are highly likely to knock each other out simultaneously because they are so evenly matched. They will both lay unconscious on the ground whilst the rest of the battle ensues...:)
Both are my favorite characters from each universe. In a battle without previous preparation the winner would be the Spiderman. but in a second encounter Batman would have a strategy and win the fight.
Nay. Spiderman is way strong than batman in raw strength and I'd doubt they would cancel each other out. Spiderman's punches are devastating but he chooses to hold back in most fights but if he knows the danger or threat of this fight he won't hold back and he's gonna fold Bruce like an omelette.
Marvel vs DC is a raw battle and its crucial if each team has Intel on the other because if each team were to fight blindly then it would really be a blood bath and there really is no telling who would do what. I'm gonna go for the marvel team because spiderman would fold batman like an omelette, captain marvel would slam shazam, hulk would jerk darkseid, capt america would fry aquaman, venom would absolutely devour green arrow, Thor would slide lobo, it just goes on people..

Marvel vs DC, based on the characters shown in the drawing I'd have to give it to DC for sheer power. Sure, Marvel has really heavy hitters like Vision, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Thor, and Thanos; but I think even they are out matched by the likes of Superman, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Aquaman, and Darkseid. Even the less powerful street level characters have a pretty tough go of it. Almost all of them have equal or greater counterparts and Don't really have any that are less than they are. Granted, DC has more non-powered characters, but they more than hold their own next to the gods and monsters of their own universe, so I don't see why it would be any different in the arguably less fantastical Marvel Universe. Don't get me wrong, Marvel would definitely have some wins, but overall I just don't see them coming out on top. Of course, they're all heroes, and they always do find a way to win. But that applies to DC too; and here, I don't think they have to look quite as hard.

Already did. Plus we aren’t talking about bats and spiders, we are talking about Batman and Spider-Man. Batman would win because of his greater knowledge and practice of all marshal art styles and his vast array of weapons, gadgets, not to mention he has much more experience than spider man. If Batman has the element of surprise and he always does then Spider-Man has no chance. Even if he doesn’t spider man ultimately will lose. And let’s not forget Batman beat superman. Has Spider-Man ever done that?

Let me start out by saying I prefer DC, now that that’s out of the way, I will try to be as unbiased as possible...
Some of the more interesting matchups in my opinion are between lesser known characters but I will list all the matchups I can find:
Logan v Lobo is an interesting matchup because of Logan’s healing factor and Lobos Czarnian physiology. Logan would eventually win because of his adamantium skeleton and his brutal fighting style.
Daredevil v Nightwing is also a good matchup with both characters being acrobats and tough fighters. Nightwing and Daredevil would brobably tie, because what daredevil lacks in sight, he makes up for in his fighting, but Nightwing is elusive and has fought many villains such as the joker and Mr. Freeze.
The Atom v Ant-Man and Wasp, good match but Ray would be overpowered by the duo eventually.
Deathstroke v Punisher is a good matchup, but Deathstroke has a somewhat healing factor and has more experience and a promethium sword.
I love that it looks as if Deadpool and Green Lantern are facing off, that’s a great touch. Although this matchup is fun, Deadpool would ditch the battle and run off with Harley into the sunset.
Batman would beat Spider-Man in my opinion because Batman is unstoppable with prep time and he has more experience in martial arts and vigilantism than Spider-Man.
Mr. Fantastic v Plastic man, a fun matchup, but Reed wins because he is a genius, and would have a more serious approach.
The guardians of the galaxy would destroy team arrow, because they have better strength and stamina and use guns.
Darksied would beat Thanos, because, as established in comic books, the infinity gauntlet does not work in any universe outside of the marvel universe, and darksied would use his omega blasts to end Thanos.
The Flash v Black Panther, a good matchup, but not great, Barry doesn’t even need to touch black panther, he just needs to tornado T’Challa out of the competition, and he could phase through the vibranium to deliver a devastating infinite mass punch.
Power Girl v Scarlet Witch, a fitting match for a couple of powerful characters, however, due to power girl being just as powerful as Superman, and she’ll use laser vision and super speed to discombobulate the poor witch.
Cyborg against Iron Man is really close, but I’ll give Cyborg the edge because he has better apokoliptian technology and boom tubes.
Joker would drive Black Widow insane really quickly.
Shuri v Robin, Shuri has the tech advantage, but robin has a utility belt and a tactical advantage.
Hulk v Aquaman, Arthur would be crowned the victor eventually because the king of Atlantis has similar strength levels (water pressure does that to Atlantans) and can call for reinforcements or he could just crack a joke to turn Hulk back to Banner.
Superman would easily beat Cap, he would just freeze him again using freeze breath. Then super would take on every victorious Marvel character.
Captain Marvel v Captain Marvel, in this case Captain Marvel takes the cake any day.
Black lightning could handle venom, by zapping him until fried.
Vision v Martian Manhunter, MM and Vision would phase in and out of battle, but given MM’s chip on his shoulder from being the last son of mars, and more (not better) abilities, he could wear vision out.
Wonder Woman v Thor, Wonder Woman would compel Thor to surrender using her lasso, also she has been training all her life to be a warrior, Thor, not as much.
This is my reasoning, overall, in a fight between the characters drawn in the picture, DC would win, but if these characters actually met in real life, they would befriend each other and take pictures with one another and collect autographs and all that stuff and they’d hang out after ward. Good point but it seems that none of these heroes have had prep time as batman has his normal gear on. In that case Spider-man would as he thrives in those moments. But if they did get prep time the outcome would be pretty unpredictable
Inathi Zimase the thing is though, do you really think that Batman would just instinctively fight a superhuman like Spider-Man without any fundamental or underlying reason behind doing so, it is completely contradictory to the nature of his character to do anything of the sort, but in order to readjust my statement, Batman would adopt Peter before the fighting began, because he wants a new super powered robin with a similar tragic background lol

Batman is known for his technique... spider man knows barely any fighting at all he is a rookie compared to Batman’s agility speed technique fighting style intelligence escapology, battle tacticality, preparedness, gadgets, and MONEY 💰
All Spider-Man got on Batman is strength because he actually has powers. I doubt that his webs would be a problem to Batman. Obviously Batman has a solution to cut his webs as easy as ordinary webs.

Ok the winner is Spider-Man. Why?
Well, both Bats and Spidey are infamous for being able to basically anyone with prep time. However, based on the picture James has drawn, neither had prep time, otherwise they would probably be wearing suits for the occasion.
That means it’s down to basic equipment. Batman is one of the smartest men alive in his universe and also the most physical fit human being on earth. He is a master of every martial art and has stealth skills so perfect even Superman can’t detect him. Unfortunately for Batman, Spider-Man possesses a little ability called the Spider sense that- ...who am I kidding you know exactly what it does. It works at faster than light speeds (because he has dogged lasers and lightning) and has allowed Spider-Man to fight and beat far more powerful heroes and villains than himself, even while blindfolded. So Batman’s most valuable asset is rendered useless.
Speaking of fighting more experienced heroes, Spider-Man has beat Captain America in a fist fight. In the Marvel vs DC crossover books, Batman admitted that Captain America was superior with hand to hand combat than he is.
Anyway, Spider-Man is also ridiculously strong. He could easily punch a non-enhanced human’s head clean off.
Also, considering that this is a death battle, I’m pretty sure nobody is pulling their punches on this one, which both Batman and Spider-Man are both known to do.
So, what would happen?
The two armies would charge, Batman would swing at Spider-Man, Spidey would easily dodge (like what is depicted in the artwork) and punch Batman right through his helmet and also probably his arm he tried to block the punch with. Lights out Battsy.
DC would probably win after that though because most of their characters are basically gods whereas marvel characters are strong people in tights. And that’s the interesting difference between the two companies.
DC tells a story of extraordinary people trying to live amongst ordinary people.
Marvel tells a story of ordinary people trying to inspire others to become extraordinary.
Or I dunno maybe it’s just dumb kids stuff that my violent teenage mind likes.
EDIT: I suppose Thanos could win the fight for everyone with just the guantlet.

Bat man can Annalise an attack before it can even happen like how flash run around the world to build up a powerful punch (strong as a an exploding megastar) but batman predicated it by thinking what if he's flash... Also flash can see everything around him in nanoseconds but batman set some traps that even a godspeed power can be killed

DC, marvel is mainly tech based powers like iron Man, black panther, etc. Superman is nearly undefeatable to marvel characters because he is an alien that no marvel character has seen before. I understand that they have the god of thunder, thor, but DC also has thunder god, Shazam. the only thing powerful enough to stop Superman is thanos, but that's still 50/50 with a good chance of wiping out there own squad. I don't think thanos would cooperate very well with his "teammates" that is why I think DC would win
