13,500 Melonslices an hour. Eating one slice takes 1.61 seconds. Meaning that with this farm 6 people could EAT the melons it produces NON STOP, and there would still be a surplus.
I really appreciate you leaving the link to the farms in the description. Been looking for an iron farm for about a week now and it's driving me crazy that all of them are either not good enough or way too good (meaning difficult and expensive) but this one is perfect. Thank you

Yo Wadzee. Good tip on getting our from freezing in the snow is using your water bucket. It'll basically melt off all the snow and break the snow blocks
I didn't know that! My heart sank when they sunk so far into the snow. I've died twice in worlds/realms from that exact scenario so watching him get out with little panic was cool~

12:04 are we all gonna ignore the fact that wadzee simply runs past a naturally spawning emerald ore so high up?
that is not that rare in a mountain biome. there also spawns a ton of exposed iron and coal, so good place to get those there. emerald is rare at deepslate level. deepslate emerald ore is one of the rarest blocks

@@ajstoys260 Doesn't he already have some spare diamonds that he could use for a Jukebox? And he'd have to go mining anyway for the diamonds to make another beacon, not sure if a single vein would be very consequential.
It's more rewarding to get the engagement from people commenting that he missed the diamonds :P

deepslate emerald ore is probably the rarest/hardest block you could get in any survival world, you should make a challenge to get a full stack of them :)

Yo WadZee Hi. A tip for your town (commenting here since i doubt you'll see it on ep 5). You did a little too much flags, it would be much better to leave 3-5 on special, dedicated towers. Better to make unique desing for them. Couple of towers can be remodeled too, to give it a bit of diversity. Also you can use banners on the walls, and somewhere add scaffolding, making it seem like that part getting a renovation. So a bit of cracked and mossy stone can make an improvment. Hope you'll see it, gl my dude

So many times in this video I thought "Oh, that's gonna be the end of the video there."
And I'm still at like 14:00 ! The amount of content you put into one video is always crazy man.
If the piston thunks when there's no melon in that spot, it's OK. so why not just one observer and a daylight detector? it could thunk all the pistons a few times a day via repeaters and wouldn't take all that material.
But it would lose efficiency because while waiting for a signal to come that melon would be taking up a spot. It’s the classic trade off of expense vs speed.
@@nikkigeffen7010 Well my point was that it was non trivial to gather the resources for that many observers, so the farm could still be created and functional with many less.

you should hook up the collection system to an auto composter and it will get you TONS of bone meal
This always puts a smile on my face. There is something about Wadzee building death traps that makes it so relaxing.
2 Flaws:
- your water streams LOSE MELONS! As you can see at 25:06, if melon slices are pushed directly onto the pressure plates, they will just lie there until they despawn!
- when you build a flying machine to harvest crops, the face of the observer shouldn't point to a space, where crops can grow. If a crop happens to grow in the wrong moment, if can accidentally trigger the flying machine and break it. Use a setup instead, where the observers point upwards.
Sure let's just forget how many melons he actually got

Kelp Farm connected to a small auto smelter connected to a large auto smelter from dried kelp getting all the xp and then composting for a quick bonemeal farm.
sometimes I find it crazy that some people don't know that its better for lag to use a block and noteblock. especially for such a massive project. but it is what It is. Either way still a dope project and great dedication
I think Minecraft is more fun the more difficult it is.
For escaping or breaking powdered snow quickly, use water or a flame bow.

Random fact: Smelting Scaffolding actually is really effective in Bedrock PE. Just adding one string gives you a good smelting fuel. (I don’t know about other versions)

the melon farm design is incredibly inefficient as you only give the melon stem 2 available spaces. If you place the observers and pistons overtop of the stems and growing pumpkins, it ups the available spaces by 4 and hence generates a faster tick rate for melon growth

Wow that melon farm is insane. I remember building a big 32x32 double stacked melon farm on my smp. It took weeks to build. When it was finally done it produced a double chest every 2 mins... It had to be turned off after just 12 hours due to the fact of it crashing the server.
