I can't get over how beautiful genre book covers are nowadays. It was a beef of mine - in the Noughties - how bland and uninspiring they'd become and that publishers should raise their game. Many seem to have gotten around to thinking the same.
Totally agree! Standard editions are getting better all the time and some of the special editions are off the charts! Think it just adds to the experience. Same with album art, my pet peeve is now that everything is digital a lot of bands don’t put the same effort in.. but slowly some are doing it again which I love! 😀🖤
