3. Depth of Field Calculator

The Depth of Field Calculator is a remarkably useful tool when deciding on an aperture for a particular shoot.
Even though the basic rule says f2.8 gives a shallow depth of field (not much in focus other than the subject you are focussing on) and f16 makes everything in focus, there is a lot more to it.
You need to take into account the focal length of the lens used, the distance of the subject from the camera and so on.
