Jesus Christ why do I identify with this guy so much.
That was beautiful. To make me care,much less feel sorry for Flashman,of all Robot Masters,is just a sign of how good these guys are.
I never viewed Flashman as gay through this song, I more relate him to Airman in a way.
Flashman was built as a over the top, super flashy robot that is the best. Which he just couldn't live up to, he couldn't do what he was created to. Then he see's Megaman, who is exactly what Flashman is suppose to be and then some. Megaman was like his hero, someone he could never hope to be, so he wanted to go for the next best thing, spending all of his time with the hero he wished to be but couldn't.
You gotta admit the instrumental is pretty boss.
You know at first I was confused as to why flashman would hero worship the very person he was created to kill but then I thought about it what if flashman was wily's failed attempt at a megaman clone. It would make the hero worship make sense since he was made in Megamans image, flashmans eerily similar design when compared to megaman also makes sense, also his attack when he freezes you is basically mega buster machine gun, that or I'm reading way to deep into things.

Many of the robots in the Megaman series were created by Dr. Light and then later turned into weaponized versions of themselves (willingly) by Dr. Wily who never really had the talent to do what Dr. Light does. It would make sense if Flashman was made by Dr. Light, design wise. Not sure though, because only some of them were reprogrammed and I'm not an intense Megaman fan and know all those details.

Actually, if you think about this song as Flash Man slowly killing megaman, stopping his body in time as he delivers the finishing blow, forcing megaman to feel it eternally - this song becomes REALLY fucking creepy.

to be fair, the only "female" robot in canon so far is roll. and robot genders are kind of screwy anyway...

I think he feels lonely and needs a friend. Mega Man is like a role model, you know, being he the hero, being so powerful and also blue. He somehow desires to be like Mega Man and be his friend (sometimes I feel like this around someone XD)

To me it just sounds like a massive case of hero worship, though I can easily see where other's opinions come from.
Well, technically it's not incest, because Wily actually never helped build Megaman. It got lost in translation, but the truth is Light and Wily were colleagues, but never actually worked together on the original Robot Masters.

I'm pretty sure non of lights or Wily's robots are anatomically correct, so from a robotics and sexual stand point no. Though they do have male appearance so it would be homo-romantic at best.

@Sasoriemo When you said Homo Erotic Robotic Incest... my first thoughts was "Flash Man isn't Megaman's Brother"... then I realised both share Dr. Wily as a parent. Also Flash Man was from a game, that Dr. Wily was pretended to be good, and back as Dr. Light's trusted lab assistant.
Honestly, I think the main reason Dr. Light has never been married has something to do with how easily he believes Dr. Wily has gone good again. Figured that should be pointed out.
