  • Alright guys! On today's video, we will travel from Lolo Hot Springs Montana, down into Powell Idaho to check out the infamous Locsha Lodge. From the lodge, we will travel a little ways on the Lolo Motorway, which is a fantastic back country off road route that spans the width of the state of Idaho pretty much. We will cut off the Motorway on to Toboggan Ridge road, which cuts across the Clearwater National Forest. Koty took a spill on the route but nothing hurt! We ride to the awesome Cedar's campground on the north fork of the Clearwater River in Clearwater Idaho. What a place this was! From there, we ride up over Hoodoo pass and into Superior Mt, grabbed dinner at the Durango steak house. A random campsite on the Clearwater river appeared and had a great spot for good night's rest! Come ride along with us on this fantastic journey of a lifetime!!! #tw200 #idaho

    Let me just thank ya for sharing this vid! Watched it this morning before work (where I’ll slack today and look up your track on the map) and it just brings me such joy and more importantly inspiration. I’m really envious of this kind of point to point riding. Such pure adventure. And dang those views! Some stunning flowered at the start of Lolo too! Glad Cody didn’t go down the mountain, that sure could have been a lot worse! ✊😍

      Thanks man! It sure was fun to make and made me miss it like crazy! Shoot, your single track videos are what's inspirational!!!! I watched a ton of them before we headed out and really appreciate you making those. Yeah man, starting out in the Sawtooths and doing the point to point was pure adventure for sure! For the most part it worked out well. We did have one little snag when our support vehicle couldn't make it to camp! We survived though! That video soon! Thanks again for watching!

    Great video. What mapping app/software do y'all use? I think you mentioned Gaia?

    • @PSBEadventures
      @PSBEadventures  7 місяців тому

      Thanks J! Yes, we use Gaia exclusively with the overland layer. We found it to show all the trails really close to correctly and even the single track in Idaho. It's the paid version but you can grab it on sale during holidays usually. I have a couple videos going over it as well if you want to check them out. This was a great day!

    Is Cody using that Nelson Rigg backpack/tail bag?
    Love his yellow TW, what year is that?
    You’ve had an epic journey. Well done!

      Hey Tom! Koty runs the Giant Loop Tillamook tail bag and his backpack is a Klim Nak Pak hydropak. The yellow dub is an 01, someone painted. They did a heck of a job on the paint too!

    How did you carry the puppy on the bike? Most footage I've watched of FS500 is of mountain tops, good to see some valleys and rivers. What month was that?

    • @PSBEadventures
      @PSBEadventures  4 місяці тому +1

      Charlie Koty's dad (aka angry camper) 😀
      Met us at camp most nights with our gear and the pup. He kept my CT125 with him and used it around camp and did some day rides with us exploring etc. We got to Fairfield around July 30. Spent 6 or 7 days in the Sawtooths before heading north. I think this was probably day 8 or so. So going into the 2nd week of August or so. The creeks and valleys were actually off of toboggan ridge which splits north west off of fs500 and brings you out at Cedars Campground on the Clarke Fork River below Superior Montana there. Itwas a great time man. Check out the whole series if you haven't!
