    I've just tested, you can grow all 3 items at the same time. You end up with a ratio of each one. You also get different production rates of Lettice across the 3 sizes, Small green houses use 16 units of water for 5 lettuce. Medium uses 28 water for 14 lettuce and large 64 for 32. Tomatoes stay at a constant ration of 1-1, Strawberries at 2 to 1. Green houses run at 2 units of water per hour, and produce so much product per unit.

      Actually the forklift + pallet system on FS22 is pretty easy and less frustrating than FS19 that needing an auto load trailer is not needed as bad... Still use an auto load though...

      The pallets forks tend to make them fly into orbit like FS19, trust me

      I found that two large greenhouses setup with the pallets facing each other and as close as possible together with a farmers stand at the end sells the items super fast with a tractor and the largest snowplow to push them straight into the farmers stand. No loading of trailers, no travel, no having to pickup the pallets at all, and you can sell them 4 at a time. Might not be the best price, but damn is it easy money!

    Might as well throw in my 2p regarding the let's play discussions. I would wait a little while before starting a new let's play. I say that because I've watched other UA-camrs who have desperately rushed into starting one and I'm afraid the lack of their usual quality really shows (just MY opinion obviously). The lack of quality is down to the lack of game content and quality of game content. Any new game obviously has bugs and glitches and will be restricted to vanilla content. Even silly things like the camera collision thingy (which shouldn't be there in the first place!) jumps out in a video. Might be worth waiting a week or so until the first patch is out and we have a few more mods to bulk things out. Your initial approach of doing "guide to..." videos is by far more useful (especially to any newer players) than rushing into a let's play. Keep up the excellent information sharing content 😀😀

      Mark I totally agree. Started watching FS19 videos by Daggerwin - the trouble I found was that there was a lot of chat but no knowledge on the subject per say. Where MrSP wins in my opinion is that he covers for everyone and explains it so well. I have same thoughts - there’s going to be an update for this as seems to be some glitches, so why not wait until first mods and maps come out. But then again, if you are a UA-camr you need content to generate income.
      I would like to see some large greenhouse mods made. I grew up on a small holding near Colchester growing lettuce, cucumbers and celery initially but we changed to cut flowers until my parents gave it up - couldn’t compete with flowers flown in from Kenya and Columbia.
      Great video as ever. Although I can’t as yet play this I am fascinated by the new additions. To be fair to Giants I asked for a refund as per their 14 day cooling off period and they refunded me for the game. Need to upgrade the PC somehow - annoyingly my work laptop would run it but can’t put it on there!! Grrr

      I always liked the first let's plays on a new iteration of the game most: it's the struggeling through the changes jungle, watching him having the same obstacles to overcome as I have and often he comes up with a better solution than mine. The learning aspect of these 'unknown terrain' let's plays is way higher than the easy going, smoothed by (cheaty) mods way of doing things when a game reaches its shelf live.

    I just want to say something that people who arnt in the trucking industry might not know. At least in the usa (idk why this would be different around the world) we only fill tanker trailers to around 80%. It depends on fluids like gasoline is vaporous so its less. Milk can realese gases but water is extremely heavy so you would only fill a tanker to about 70% for water.

    If you look on the production page, it gives the recipe for each product telling how much water for how much output and how much output per hour. It looks like strawberries produce the most for the least water. Tomatoes have half the hourly production of strawberries, and lettuce have half the hourly production of tomatoes.

    You CAN turn on all 3 products on at the same time. However there is quite an efficiency debuff.
    There are 2 cycles per hour so if the product is producing at full rate there should be 64, 32, 128 per cycle.
    after 1 hour with all 3 turned on. The results are as follows:
    42L Tomatoes
    21L Lettuce
    84L Strawberries
    1 hour with Tomatoes turned on: 128L
    1 hour with Lettuce turned on: 64L
    1 hour with Strawberries turned on: 256L
    1 hour with 2 turned on is a 50% reduction
    Edit: This was done on a large greenhouse.

    I perverted your idea here a few days ago. I put 5 big ones in a row on one side with the and 2 big ones as 3 small ones on the other side. The small ones were used because there wasnt enough space. They formed a sort of narrowing way. Luckily i got a snowcat (dont know the ingame name) as used one.
    At one end i put a Pizzeria. Now all i have to do besides water, is pushing the palettes to the Pizzeria. Sometimes they stuck on invisible corners but with the moving shield that is no problem.
    Not Roleplay usable but a fast way to money. Especially on the us map. There is a field between 2 lakes behind a wooden bridge. One lake across the street is deep enough to full up water. 10m water supply way. Its fantastic.

    These are great income for sure. But it's a full time job loading crates when there is a lot. So you have to do it monthly or set in selling when price is good. I think it takes an average of the current prices. Maybe little more than average. Lettuce is worth taking the time to load and sell at best place. But strawberries are very prolific. You can see how much water it takes for each product to produce. Also an interesting note is if you do all 3 in one greenhouse it will produce all crates outside but when you take one away it will only spawn the one that has the most product. So in those instances I put the others on distributing so it only spawns what I want. That is assuming you dont own any other place for them to go. Hope that makes sense.

    Instant Greenhouse, just add water!
    Great video, MrSealyP, I do enjoy when you get properly excited by features like this! On the whole it is a good improvement over the FS19 version, I'm loving the new interactive nature of the greenhouses, having pallets to move around and even being able to choose what the greenhouses produce is very nice! One thing I'm curious about with the Store / Sell / Distribute options is since you can sell or shift them automatically is there any benefit from storing them to manually handle, might require some further testing but is there a reduced profit from direct selling or delivery charge to distribute them for example, or something else to make storing them a more attractive option?
    On the flip side of that I am a little saddened by the lose of the manure requirement as having some sort of fertiliser, even bags of special plant soil or something, seems kind of important for a good yielding greenhouse. That and the pallets I found a bit hit and miss graphically speaking, I mean the pallets themselves are really good but the contents with the tomatoes and strawberries is quite lackluster. A simple mostly flat fill plane with a texture, the likes of which we used to have back in the FS13 days but with a better quality texture now of course, the lettuce on the other hand have a much nicer 3D model going on in them similar to how the eggs and honey jars are!

    You can fill half the curtainside trailer at least, after that even the ps5 starts to struggle a bit. First 2 rows (6 pallet places) i filled with tomatoes + strawberries all the way to the roof.
    Next 3 rows lettuce 3 high stacked with a tomatoe on topp, after that the lagg begun. Managed to fill the trailer all the way back, last pallets took for ever, probably around 5 fps lol.
    But had to try for fun, but will not do it again, made around 40k on one load.
    I hope they decrese the prices a bit or the output, even on hard economy it gives pretty decent for very little work.

    I'm really glad you can move them by hand. As fast as they currently produce, doing that on the forklift would take forever.
    Also, I feel like they may patch them, considering how stupid fast they produce.

    So I was watching you pull your tomatoes out of the pallet zone. Inside the greenhouse you can still see there's trees tomatoes on the vines. I'm betting when there's no more tomatoes on the vine the pallets won't appear. And in reality tomatoes grow a hell of a lot faster then lettuce. The ones here at my house we have 3 tomatoes plants and 2 lettuce plants. They are quite different in growth rates no joke. It's like a 3 to 1 ratio tomatoes to lettuce

    dont know if this is a bug or not, but it might be, but on PC, you can set your greenhouses to produce all 3 products, instead of only one, and it dosent seem to have any negative effect to do so, you dont produce them any slower or anything.

    Pro tip: if you plan to sell straight up, leave pallets outside so the internal storage fills up and once it’s full flip it to selling mode and it sells the internal storage. If you wait for the market to be high you can basically “auto sell” in bulk at a high price. Just always leave the pallets outside to keep building the internal storage

    • @blackd834
      @blackd834 3 роки тому

      you can even just set them to distributing and they will stay in the internal storage then set them to sell to auto sell them so you don't have pallets outside

    You don't need one greenhouse per product! Though it makes sense for lettuce, because thats growing awfully slow - but you can produce everything in just one greenhouse simultaneously.
    When running the bakery on a LP have a closer look at all the recipies! Flour for example is more efficiently produced from oats than from wheat: for 150L delivery you get 188L flour from oats, while you only get 120L flour from wheats. Or for sugar you definitely should use the beet crusher bucket instead of delivering the whole beets. You get better result and have way less production costs.
    On PS4 (standard) it's getting quite laggy as soon as you have about 30 pallets standing somewhere. So filling that vanilla curtain side trailer will end in a slide show instead of a fluid animation - it's the same as with wool on FS17.
    What the vanille maps are missing quite heavily are designated areas already flattened for putting down placeables as the new landscaping features are everything but intuitive or easy to use. Usually you end with a mess though all you wanted to do is flatten the ground for placing a building. The flattening and smoothing (which was perfectly done in FS19) now is unusable for real situations. It only works quite well on an even and open area with no objects around, so only in areas where you don't need it at all!

    • @iswearshewas1815
      @iswearshewas1815 3 роки тому

      The thing with the bakery is just not true, because the outcome of what and oat are different. You get bit less oat per squaremeter than from wheat, that’s why you get more flour

    • @Baerenpapa007
      @Baerenpapa007 3 роки тому

      @@iswearshewas1815 I apologize, I was only talking about effectiveness of the GRAIN MILL, didn't mean the bakery there - and if you check the numbers - what I have said is totally true - for the same amount of wheat and oats you deliver to the grain mill, you get over 50% more flour from oats than from wheat. The yield of the according fields is a total different matter, but I doubt that you get 50% more yield for wheat than for oats. But if you buy the grains in big bag pallets from the shop, you pay more for wheat than for oats. So if you buy the resources you better go for oats.

    Okey so the green houses are the horses of fs19 then.
    When u are looking at a pallet in the pallet spawn area check the lower right corner. i think it shows how mutch is still inside the greenhouse becouse each time 1 or 2 new pallets hade spawn that number went down.
    I just now found something very intresting and i think i know why they did this. When looking at the production cycles and output/cycle for Lettuce and Tomatos i feel like a mistake was made there. U got 2x as mutch Tomatos as Lettuce if u use the same amount of water in both cases. However the Lettuce comes in pallets of 200L while the Tomatos comes in pallets of 100L. I suspect this is a weigh issue so u can still pick them up with your hands but as it stands now u are getting 4x as many pallets for Tomatos over Lettuce and that honestly sounds like a mistake. I dont know what the maximum carry limit is for your hands but the Lettuce weighs 200kg and u can pick up those. The Tomatos weight is 130kg and if u would make Tomato pallets 150L (50% bigger and 50% heavier) to lower the amount of pallets, u would get a weight/pallet to 205kg. I suspect that the maximum carry limit is 200kg and instead of bumping that up to 205kg to lower the amount of pallets. We are now getting ALOT of pallets spawning from Tomato greenhouses to the point that it´s just ridiculous.
    EDIT: Not sure what my brain was on but the weight should have been 195kg not 205kg. Funny thing that makes there decision even more strange as we should have been able to pick up a 150L Tomato pallet.
