Yeah exactly, she was nervous and not exactly a phenomenal singer, but I can tell you it takes massive guts to do that and to continue on when the crowd is less than impressed. She can sing too if she practices, play bass, whatever she wants to. This guy’s mission is awesome
I have a great fine tuned ear for music Athena has it in her great confidence. She just has to sing more to exercise those vocal cords but you can definitely hear she can sing if she gets more practice. It’s just the false sense of ‘permission’ that holds ppl back. She probably sings more freely in her own free time when there is no pressure. Plus that setting outside isn’t very favorable for her. All she had is her phone for reference. In the music industry when a singer is out in the open like that the amount of prep is big so it doesn’t sound like what we just heard so props to her. If Athena or anyone wants collab for some music reply here. I’m serious let’s make it happen. I’m around her age. I’m really good with music hmu guys reply here. Athena has balls to do that... I believe in being honest with people because people with dreams of "fame" need to be honest with themselves about the talent they have... My advice, is to make a recording of your own voice Athena, and listen back to yourself and really be honest with yourself. I did this many years ago (many!) and it made me realise I was a better guitar player than a singer. From that point on I ONLY concentrated on my guitar playing. I then spent 10 years playing guitar in a band in gigs up and down the country. Did a few local TV spots and a showcase for Virgin records and performances for Radio 1's In the City in Liverpool. Ultimately we never "made it" but we had a great time trying... some bad, some good. But... I still play to this day. So... be realistic and don't let the idea of "fame" cloud your potential to actually be a useful musician.. be that in a band or playing for others as a session musician. And good luck.

I dont understand why ppl aren't thankful enough.. i mean nobody would stop for us in this world and ask what our dreams are, and also help us to achieve it but this guy does but I dont see the thankfulness and gratitude... i mean if someone did this to me i would have hugged him and have his gratitude until i die

As someone who has its own business (with differing success) I have lots of (usually old) friends that always say things like "Aah I wish I could start a business, I would do this or that"
And my only advice ever is : Do it. Just go and do it. Be a business. Go do it.
And that's where everybody gives up.. at the 'just do it' stage.
Because it takes effort to become a proper business. You have to register, a lot of admin etc.
Also : be prepared for hard landings and rough times followed by flying high and great moments. It's a rollercoaster.
Take some risk, but be aware of what you're putting on the table. Don't put all your eggs in.
I had a short pop up of Mr.Squibb, South African that he paid to quit his job and start a restaurant with food from his culture. This is my first video I’ve seen from him, I’m half way through. It is the best, actually honorable, feel good content I’ve seen in the last few years. So excited to watch more of these and see him help people break from the reality that they know they don’t want!

Inspirational, I hope one day to be in a position to help other small businesses start up too! After working dead end jobs for years I began a business last year and whilst it’s been a slow start; your words of encouragement about money is everywhere is motivating. Top lad!
It’s a shame that this world has so many liars and scammers, it unfortunately makes your job of helping people that much harder.
Good for you for persisting with people, but please don’t be quite so shocked when people don’t take you seriously. Fake opportunities is a part of most peoples lives including mine and it destroys peoples faith in making their dreams happen.

Hearing you say "sounds like alot of excuses" really hit home. Im "happy" in my job but always had the ambition to go solo. I did a couple courses with the Princes Trust about starting a business but then bottled it because im paid fairly well where I am.
How do people ensure they are going to be as successful (if not more) before they make the leap?
I have come back from a serious illness that almost killed me. I am now in great shape again. Unfortunately, I am 26 years old, but everyone in the Netherlands always thinks I am 15 or 16. My dream is to become a professional football player and the people who laughed at me when I got sick and said that I was acting like I was about to die. providing living proof that you can achieve anything despite hatred, adversity and people who want to hold you back in your process and would rather see you fall.

Trying is the first step but also telling the individual hey listen maybe we should start with a vocal teacher and go from there , not in a harsh way to make them feel bad but to guide them to the tools that might make their dreams come true by bettering their craft,skills or talents.

I’m 21 and tried starting up an recruitment agency to bring together more jobs for people across the UK. But my mates backed out and I had no other choice but to stop. If I had the chance and right people I would definitely do it again. I’m also interested in property and aircraft’s/ airlines as I would love to own my own airline to travel the world that’s my dream as I love travelling and people should definitely travel more

I'm 16 year old girl, and live in the US, originally I wanted to go to college and be an OB/GYN. Later on in that career I wanted to specialize in obstetrics and have my own private practice. I'd also like to form a type of walk in clinic for those in need, even if they don't have any type of insurance. Say a homeless woman needs medical attention, they walk in get checked out, receive any necessary care and walk out without a single fee.
I'm still in high school but I want to start something now, I have a couple ideas but I have no clue where to start, I've looked at a lot of your videos so far, I saw you on instagram and was immediately hooked.
