    Hi Sobi: Two things. 1. It’s never tacky to remember the important thing’s in life. Your picture idea will creat a family history that will be more valuable than gold. Just don’t cry in 50 years when your grand kids ask who the young people are in those photos and they laugh when you answer their questions. 2. Power up that house and continue to enjoy it to the max. What a way to enjoy winter and amazing fish dinners. Stay safe. God Bless!

    Remember, Lithium batteries will have a low temp shutoff so it won't charge if it's too cold. Some new ones have internal heating so see if that one does. If not, you'll want to figure out some way to keep the battery warm enough to charge when you are away and don't have the heat running. Also, the flexible panels are nice but you'll have to mount them and park where you get good sun. I'd also suggest getting a rigid panel or solar suitcase that you could setup to follow the sun better, especially in the winter when the sun is pretty low.

    I did a similar set up on my castle. 100w panel,200 AH, 750w inverter. If you go to a hardware store grab a 120v plug you can connect that plug to like 14-2 wire(residential wire) and hook that to you small fuse box in your castle from your inverter. Then when you turn on your inverter all your 120 outlets and tv will run off the inverter instead of having a bunch of stuff plugged into the inverter. Great content man

    Oh man that is so awesome! I can't wait to see the final install on this! Nobody is talking about this much less doing this. One of the worst things about going out on the big lakes with lots of permanents is all the noise everyones generators make. Its pretty annoying. You are way ahead of the game brother, and that battery is an absolute tank! I bet you get 3 to 4 days on that thing, and charging all day long, maby longer if you change some of the components to draw lower wattage like the tv the fans and the lights. LED lights dont take much power and will save you in the long run. Going to be an awesome final product!! I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!

  • @handyandqu
    @handyandqu 2 роки тому +1

    Those solar panels (I only viewed two? in the video) would take something like 20hrs to charge that 200ah battery from a depleted status to 100% charge if you where in Arizona.... when it's summer..... You are going to get even less efficiency even with optimal angles just due to your latitude. So it's something like three full sunny days with no use to fill from depleted to full. The TV alone "could" potentially consume the whole output of one panel (somewhere between 50-70watts) the inverter is likely 80-90% efficient and each panel is not going to get it's full 100watt rating for very long in the winter. Output in the 70-80watt range per panel is likely. I would get a Kill A Watt to get a gauge of what your consumption rate is after that the consumption rate is very easy to calculate. Biggest take away is there is not enough power being generated by the solar panels to overcome excessive use and the recharge rate is going to take a while. This might be things you have already been advised of, but it could be helpful for others.
