DGD released a statement saying Tilian will step away from the band and seek professional help but they’ll release jackpot juicer and do the next tour. Long term who knows what happens. But DGD has survived multiple vocalist changes(and lineup changes in general lol) and I expect they would survive one here too.
I'm seeing them next month and I'm so curious to like WHICH SINGER AM I SEEING?? I PAID FOR TILIAN BUT WILL NOT COMPLAIN IF I END UP SEEING KURT TRAVIS OR JOHNNY, even if Andrew just does the vocals! I love the Eternity Forever EP sm but I’m fairly certain Kurt was originally only supposed to be on one track but it worked so well he (obviously) ended up doing the vocals on all four tracks so I wonder if that factors in at all.
People who think Johnny is the answer to Tilian leaving are daft. Why ask a member to leave the band due to alleged controversy, then turn around and have an even more controversial person join?
A lot of artists go through some very heavy shit on their way toward a better life. Surely they meet people along the way that curtsy bad habits, issues, tough mental health and stuff. I hope it’s not just something said for clout and ultimately I hope things are sorted out, learned from and resolved in the best way.
