My father wore his 1665 everyday!... For my 30th birthday he gifted it to me. Now 41 myself I don't wear it everyday but when I do it always brings my joy and is PRICELESS to me. Great video!
Absolutely love the Sea Dweller…..16600 it’s the quintessential Rolex for every watch enthusiast. Signed case back, slightly raised crystal, sweep second hand that reaches the indices and super luminova markings make it highly legible and the old school bracelet holds the vintage vibe. The best sport watch of the bunch.
The 16600 last version (2007/2008) is the 1 to go IMHO: the youngtimer of the série with its saphir, lum still working, good size, good mvt, discontinued with an aluminium bezel taht Will fade (change) in the future. I like to think for such watch that I can still dive with it: the perfect youngtimer.
Thank you for sharing! There’s something to be said about the 16600, specifically, the brute strength and durability. My D serial number is in for its first and only service since I bought it new in 2005. Maybe it’s neglect and laziness but I’ve never had an issue with the performance, function or reliability… zero reason to bring it for service. They’re all around awesome and built like a brick shit house.
@@the_shadow_realm5110 If only it could talk… people would be surprised at what it has been through. Cliche I know but there’s nothing it hasn’t done professionally or personally. Its held up better than my body that’s been surgically repaired 13 times including 5 major back surgeries, broken bones and little scratches 😅.
Nice little video!! I also have a 16600 and have just brought the 126600 absolutely amazing watches and in my opinion the best that Rolex make…. Thanks for the Video👍
43mm and Cyclops Eye is not very appealing IMHO. It is not a Sea-Dweller fitted for my collection. These four (1665, 2x16600 and 116600) represent the SD as I like it. The 126600 not so much.
Had the 116600 . Sold it couldn’t handle the date window being too far in on the dial. The 16600 has the perfect dial and doesn’t scream BLING, like the the silly sd43
THe Sea Dwller is the watch the Sub should be. The Sub is long over due for updating. Maybe as is the Sea Dweller in that i don't think the Sea Dwelller has an Anti-reflective coating on the glass...am I worng?? :) Rolex needs to catch up with everyone else feature wise, materials used, and stop playing their "limited quanties game". Even if it has been working for them. :) Dive watches--who doesn't want or like them. Own one or many?? :) What get me though (casual interest...not an entusiast) is....i'd guess 90 perent of owners DON'T DIVE :)) Nor do any of the YT watch reviewers Lol11 And isn't it odd that in every watch review....NONE of the revieweres take the watches on "deep dvies"!! :)) That would be like a car reviewer talking about the car but never taking the car for a drive. :))) Very strange hobby if you think about it....most buy used because they can't afford to spend $4k or 9k USD like they were buying a cup of coffee. FEW people can...just millionaires. :)) Buying new... Also...isn't it ODD that none of the reviewers a "saturation divers"??? :)) No PRO race car drivers reviewering "driving watches" or pilots rviewing "pilot watches"...etc. :))

16600 is my favorite Rolex of all times. Simple, elegant and tough as nails. Its at home in every life situation.
The 116600 SD4k is my quintessential Rolex watch of all time!

Wear that badboy and use it how it was intended.
It was built to be beat to within an inch of its very existence!

I have had my 16600 for since 2000. simply perfect
i have a 1984 16660 seadweller with glossy dial with tritium markers that have become a wonderful pumpkin-pie color. Love it
Favorite watch in my collection. M-series SD. Excellent video 💯👍
I was torn between submariner and sea dweller but now I'm going for the sea dweller as u said we can use it to win a fight 😂
great video! Love the sea dweller...especially the SD43. What brand/model are your glasses? They look great! thank you.
Love this video !!!! The guy who sent you the 2 deepsea’s picture
amazing value proposition and a hardcore tool watch to the ones in the know.
Opening the crown as you decompress works to let the helium escape. Just remember to secure it once air pressure balanced.

Thanks for the Video👍
Great review of the Sea-Dweller.
I’m interested in a Sea Dweller as well and want to know is it different in wearing compare to the Submariner 116610LN? Thank you.
depends on which seadweller bud
Super informative and interesting! Great video. Thank you
My favourite Rolex model 👍
Yeah? Good to hear!
@@KristianHaagen so far I have 3 40’s … 1665 is the sole 40 missing to me … we should also talk about Comex SD’s … and get the material for a video 😜
@@claudiomannoni5557 The COMEX SDs are from a different world ;-) And I'd love to get a handful of them for another video.
The 116600 - the last Sea dweller and the best of all of them
116600 is the best Rolex model ever made. Rare too. Only 8 for sale in UK
Really enjoyed that, brilliant work. Let’s have some more please 🙏🏻
Thank you! Appreciate your kind words.
I have a Rolex Zenith Daytona and a Rolex Sea Dweller 16600.Prefer wearing the Rolex Sea Dweller over the Rolex Zenith Daytona Everyday😊
In discussion with a dealership for a 16600 right now. Can't wait!
You meant the SD4K? 116600?
@@impexRQ SD4k mate !
What about the Sea Dweller Double Red Tropical 1974..????
mine's 16600 - first without lug holes from 4th quarter of 2003
Kristian is great. I believe he owns Ben Clymer on any watch related topic. We need more of this - true watch talk and less sell out blog ("Dinkee")
Hy from paris, très belle synthèse, nice présentation. I love thé 4000 too. Last réal sea dweller Spirit . Bonne journée
Absolutely- the SD4K was the last true Sea Dweller ever made … perfection
Love it! Keep it going!!!!

nice format, Kristian. Keep them coming 🤙🏽

You are missing the 43mm anniversary sea dweller

👍👍
