The eco-tech item with the least amount of control is the versa. Controlling the DOS It’s easy and phenomenal. Controlling a versa is limited and weak. I personally think the most important thing you can do is give the versa the same control we have with the DOS. Mobius gives us great control over all of their products with the exception of versa. Please give us what we need.
Competition is getting fierce. It’s natural that Neptune would find ways to distinguish themselves from upstarts. This is great for consumers. This investment group snatching up BRS, Neptune, Ecotech, etc… helps facilitate this next phase in the hobby. This should be exciting for everyone because the brands we love can’t just sit on their arses secure in their market positions.
I’ve been looking into a controller and this cements that I’m going to get an Apex. I already am running my Nero pumps and Hydra 32 lights. This just makes it a no brainer for me.
It's nice to see integration for lights and pumps on offer in the near term, but will it also control the Versa peristaltic pumps? In terms of offering control, that is the single most useful EcoTech item to be integrated. I don't really need further control of my Radion's as they are "set and forget", and I can already turn my Radion's, Vortec's & Vectra on and off with the EB832. Expanded levels of control are nice, but not game changing. What is game changing: using my dosing pumps with the wide array of optical sensors in Neptune's repertoire. A feature thus far only available through the DOS. That will be the only feature I'm looking for, and the only reason I'd buy the MXM despite owning both a Neptune and a suite of EcoTech items. Granted, I'm not a "control freak"; so I may not be the target audience.
Neptune takes in millions of dollars and puts none of it into software development. I have better functionality, programming, and layout with my nodeRED and Home Assistant for my house lights than for my fishtank. Neptune needs better software, not more hardware. IOTA should be open to all and half the functionality can be done with good RESTful API
What I really want to know is how stable will the connection be between the MXM and the Ecotech Mobius enabled equipment. I have 4 MP40s and 4 Radions and Mobius is CONSTANTLY loosing signal, forcing me to remove all gear and add it back again. This happens every 2 to 3 days. It is infuriating and the the worst wireless platform I have experienced. I was looking forward to have APEX control over Ecotech because I NEVER have any connections issues with my APEX.
This module is going to be a game changer for Apex users. Can't wait to get one for myself!

Why would you need control over your lights. Aren’t you supposed to set and forget.

love the product but they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Put a service ticket 8 days ago n still no answer.
