If they banned trading, the game would die almost immediately. So many people would stop playing it would kill the competitive scene which would have a major (no pun intended) cascading effect.
Souvenir packages are trash literally 10 times worse odds than cases and case odds are hot garbage as is i don't see why they don't just make the odds the same as cases if their going to fuck us
The reason why the odds are so different for souvenir packages as compared to regular cases is because souvenirs have grays and light blues. Cases start at normal blue and do not have grays or light blues.
@big-backjack3564 2 more colors of skins categories does not equal 10x the odds thats just fucking stupid honestly normal cases are already absolutely terrible to open with the odds they have souvenirs are just a straight scam fr the fact you tried to even justify the odds is kinda ridiculous

CS2 in 2025 Expectaions: Cache, Retakes, VAC update, Team Charms, Chickens??, Shoes, Armory update, General Stability & Performance Improvements across the Board (like the rework of the Animation System) and maybe some Improvements to the Damage prediction Settings Hopes: Cobble, Official Retake- BHOP and Surf Modes with specific movement fixes in each mode(maybe one of the Problems with Surf, u know the Ramp stuck thing, has to be there for something in normal Matches to work properly, that could be disabled in the surf mode?), Dangerzone, Overwatch but now without spinbotter cases wich will make it alot more fun :D and maybe some Operation like thing with a Comic and some Missions
If we get new skins how about a jack Daniel’s bottle as a Molotov or a cooler lighter Imagine all the zippo possibilities If you give us freaking crocs we gonna have Fornite dances eventually and nobody wants that

yes i only get them from the coins and pickems souvenirs are all trash and cant be contract upgraded so i have no use for them.
