I never find the closest thing to Perfection of muslim girl portrayal in media before SKAM despite growing up in a muslim friendly country. All I see is a clean-cut textbook perfect muslim girls, all intended to inspire girls to behave like them so I never consider these characters relatable or role-model worthy.
SubhanAllah, I used to like her so much (my fav character after Noora) when I was watching Skam in the past years (maybe 5-6 years from now). And, you know what? I became Muslim myself alhamdulillah last year ahah and now I absolutely relate to her in every part of her character.
Omg when she said try growing up as a muslim girl without turning cold .... that is exactly what muslim women are enduring specially in a patriarchal society . Nice interpretation by this actress 👏👏
this is sooo beautiful !! i'm a muslim girl ... but idk what's leaving and growing up in norway ! i mean it must be difficult cause some people judge without even knowing ! social media gave them a bad opinion about muslim people and now they generalize !!! they dont know that being a good person or not has NOTHING to do with the religion ! sana is an angel i love her sooooo much !!!!
Isn't that a disrespect to white Muslims? Not only the reverts but maybe also the native European Muslims. Also the caucasian Muslims like KHABIB. It can also include Pashtuns and some of their neighbours as many of them are also whitish in colour.
I have just already known about this show . This video made me rethink my view of Muslims who r living in non-Muslim countries! that broke my heart . may Allah give them the strength to go on 💕
I relate to Sana a lot, even though I'm living in a country where it's predominantly a muslim, but a secular country, i'm surrounded by the people who are quite judgemental towards muslim women who wear hijab. It's hard to be a walking symbol at all times, but I wouldn't change it to anything. Our problems are not talked too much, it's as if we do not even exist, our identity is wanted to be wiped out completely by bashing us on the social media, by spreading the message of how "backward" we are. I'm so glad that a show like this exists, so that our identity in its whole totality is being spoken. I'm sending love to all the hijabi women who is proud of their identity and the people who support hijabi women.
We should respect the muslim thier like everyone els, all the people in this world have the same worth, we shouldnt hurt them beacuase thier belife is different, please please please be kind with each other and reapcet to all people 💋💋🥰🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖💖😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🧕🏻🧕🏻🧕🏻🧕🏻
i love sana so much even tho this is coming from amuslim girl i always wanted to be a actress but after i weared hijab in year 8 i thought i could not be one she gets my hopes up and i love her so much i wish i can meat her

tbh no matter what part of europe/the west you grew up in, as a muslims girl, it's always the same. Worse if you live in prodominatly white areas

This is the best Sana edit I have ever seen. She is my favorite character and the other edits don't do her justice, but this one, DAMN.
I see myself in her😣but still have my faith in allah 🙏✨
