My grandma is decor goals, to me. She loves faux flowers and real flowers. Because my family lives in Michigan it’s seasonal for her! Spring and summer she uses real flowers and her faux flowers for the autumn, fall and winter
I still have some of the mugs too. I love that they’re big enough to hold 12 ounces of coffee when I said Ray Dunn was out. I meant hoarding the whole collection and storing the whole collection on shelves. 💛
Rae Dunn is not out. I absolutely love her items. Everyone's style is so different. So I don't like saying this is in, or this is out. I like when people follow their own style, and use what appeals to them, regardless of what's considered "in style".
I still have a couple of pieces of Ray Dunn, but I don’t style them all as a huge collective like we used to do a couple years ago. This video is just as a guide you can take some and you cannot take some - I love reading interior books and home design magazines so I share videos that give those who are interested a summary of what’s currently going on and what’s not. Of course do whatever you choose to do for your homestyle - for example I will definitely still be using my fake stems haha! Other than that, I hope you enjoyed the video 💛
I have a cousin who has decor with writing all over it, and it’s something I’ve never been on board with. I could see it being useful if I was trying to learn English. 😉
Love this video so much!! YESSS! Very helpful! ❤️❤️ I do NOT have a green thumb lol I'll stick with my fake plants and yes I went through a Rae Dunn phase haha I'm also very traditional so I will not just be incorporating pieces whether it's the trend or not during Christmas or fall I have too much decor that I have built up throughout the years to go to waste by just putting out some of it lol I've always been big on just doing what I like because I'm the one that lives in my home or I'm the one that dresses myself I don't really care if I'm out of touch with what's in style as long as I feel good and I'm happy but I've always been one to like to have what's different than everybody else I am also the one that goes against the grain I feel like personally I have a very unique mindset with a lot of similarities at the same time if that makes any sense I'd love to see another video like this! I never know what's trending and I like to at least be in the know whether I adhere to it or not 😁 Love your vids Kaylee!!
Thank you so much! Love doing these videos too just because I love looking through home decor magazines, and home interior books - but I am just like you and I do not follow everything that they “say” to do lol. It’s more just like a guide for the interested - just like you I will be keeping my fake plants. 😂
I never "got" the Rae Dunn trend, though my DIL likes it. I am not a big trends person in that I have to have something just because it's trendy. That is not to say that I don't like some of the trendy things, just that I don't get something just because it is trendy.
I really don't have a big collection of anything, but I do like Blue Deflt items and have a small collection of them and a very small collection of old wooden utensils that I put in an old small piece of crockery.
I don't do trends which are invented to have us spend money each season. I do what I like, mostly through thrifting.
I’ve found some great pieces thrifting! It’s always a fun time and like a little treasure hunt 💛
Amen...so do I. I do not do what others do, nor care about keeping up with others!!!

I am soooooo late to the Rae Dunn party but only collect the mugs, those are my absolute favorite mugs to drink out of!!

TFS these tips. I was never into Rae Dunn. I'm not a fan of decor with words on it. Have a great weekend. 😊

Glad you enjoyed! 💛
Never a Rae Dunn person…
I remember after the pandemic Rae Dunn had a lot of people in a chokehold haha, including me 😅
❤😊
So happy you enjoyed! 💛
I love some Rae Dunn, I did the hunting thing but only bought the things I loved
I still have a few pieces, but I used to have sooooooo much lol
Rae Dunn and accent walls are so out.
Good lord faux is pronounced foe. Its French. Get it together.
It can be pronounced both ways - just like a lot of words and depending where you’re from. No need to be rude.
No, I diidn't care for Ray Dunn.
Do you have a favorite collection style? (:
