i have 4 grown children and 12 grandkids recently we lost our oldest son on July 5th so this will be our first Christmas without him. I am thanlful to be alive this Christmas had a massive heart attack on July 4th driving back from taking my mom home to Texas. We live in Tulsa OK

I definitely keep my paper towels on the counter. The kitchen is the one room that it is not all about decorating. It needs to be functional. I cook and use my kitchen, so I need to have all the stuff I use on my counters and also need space to prep, so I can’t have them filled with clutter. I add a few decor touches here and there to make it look nice, but for me it’s about function when it comes to the kitchen. Also you can’t have stuff around your stove that can easily catch on fire or that might get splattered from cooking. I have a big island in the middle of my kitchen, so I put more decor on that than the counters by my stove. But even that, I don’t put too much because I use it a lot to prep my food or place food if we are doing buffet style meals.

Kirkland’s is one of those stores that you really need to go inside the actual store and take a look. Every time I walk into a Kirklands, it makes me so happy! It smells good, there’s beautiful decor everywhere, and the staff is always super helpful and friendly! I recently browsed all of their Christmas decor online and nothing really stuck out to me, like maybe a few items and that’s it! But as I’m watching your B-roll, I want everything, lol! One of the things that I hate about shopping online at Kirkland‘s is they only have one single picture for every item they are selling! They don’t have several different photos from different angles so u can really see the item you are looking at. They don’t show pictures of the items styled, like they do on other websites like Hearth and Hand at Target for instance. It seems like nobody does reviews for Kirklands so generally speaking, there’s never any reviews with pics. It’s just one of those places where you actually have to go into the store, and if you do, I promise you will be absolutely delighted and most likely walk out with something you love
