Best two hours, forty eight minutes, and twenty three seconds I ever watch. Not to mention a great nostalgia trip for me. I grew up watching Thomas & Friends and the show still holds a special place in my heart. And I'm 23 frickin' years old.
There is something very surreal about seeing HiT-era engines travelling through recreations of classic series sets. Stanely climbing and descending Gordon's Hill in particular just seems... well, it isn't _wrong,_ but it is certainly jarring.
This perhaps is the first Island of Sodor tour video I've ever gotten to sit down, lay on my backrest, and chill in bed to enjoy. I ain't never seen a Train Simulator mod as cool, worldbuilding and neat as this. If it was segmented into bit parts of each RWS/T&F character hauling trains to great destinations on Sodor, I'd be heavily astounded to watch and take in every bit of ambient fascination to how superb the world of railroading is, especially if it's simulated into a game module to play. I've had a couple of Train Simulator games that I used to play on my uncle's computer when I was young, and it really got me into the interest wanting to play more as a hobby. This video here is a primary example. I particularly like the parts of 9:14 with Arthur, 15:44 with Percy, 23:12 and 2:23:45 with Thomas, 28:10 with Toby, 1:08:24 with Duck, 1:15:09 with BoCo, 1:38:45 and 2:03:22 with Henry, 1:47:58 with Diesel, 1:52:46 with Spencer, 1:56:31 with Stepney, 2:10:25 with Douglas, and 2:19:36 with Edward. I hope to see more brain-refreshing stuff like this often.
I got goosebumps when Thomas’ theme started playing. This entire video has so many iconic scenes from TTTE, it brought back so many many memories from my childhood. Thank you so much for making this!
I really enjoyed watching the sodor railway schedule with Thomas and his friends running both passenger and freight trains along both the main line and some of branch lines. I kinda of think at the same time that Gordons evening express service should of run all the way to Vicarstowns or Barrow In Furness.
I really hope Sodor Workshops comes out with a complete Sodor map, but I would also love the Thomas and the Magic Railroad maps to work with Trainz 19.
That's basically my consent basis of the video too, and I wholeheartedly agree on the subject of it 💯💯💯💯 This Island of Sodor tour video is just astounding to its exponential consist.
Even if Tidmouth is not the main station in the TV and CGI series I think that is still important because he has an harbor where the ships unload and load and wen the Flying Kipper starts. So that’s my idea Knapford is the main station where the express start and behind him there is the harbor and Tidmouth is a little station but has a little important because there is the second and busy harbor on the island and where the Flying Kipper starts. Well what did you think?
These are amazing. I’ve always had issues with trainz from when I was a kid, but I’m looking into getting a new computer and was wondering are these routes still available for download, and what version of trainz is this? Also, what PC would you recommend to run it?
1. This was once a publicly available Sodor map, however the site you could get it on is no longer up 2. Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 3. Just look in the description and just go from the parts listed there
Sodor Island 3D but the route nor the newer website is up anymore, however the 2006 version is still up but this map isn’t there, instead having multiple locations separate.

It's strange to travel throughout Sodor without the music playing constantly, but you seem to make it work.
Well... It works pretty well
I just played some in another tab much better lol
its nice to hear what the engines hear on sodor

I'm pretty sure Knapford Harbor is closer to Knapford station in the series, you can see it in the backdrop in certain shots.

They're currently working on a Sodor map, you can find updates in their Discord server which is linked on their website I believe
@@camcam7475 imagine the lag on that map-

I like to picture this vid combined with The Unlucky Tugs's map of model series of Thomas to be what Sodor looks likes

awesome, i definitely need to obtain a gaming laptop so i can run 19 better as right now i don't get this kind of amazing output on my game
In the anopha quarry james is too heavy in the series. Nice try on this, I like it. The evening express also should have been to vicarstown.
The route they're using doesn't have Vicarstown on it, so it wouldn't be possible
Technically in the book the last sodor railway station stop was Barrow in furness not Vicarstown.
This route is still available to get. However, it will be missing some assets. Such as the watermill bridge on Thomas' Branchline.
Where do you get it
@@grooviestglobe4907 Off of SI3D.
And there is a way to get everything functioning by our own methods? Idc if its complicated, the final results would be wonderful
@@melanieweiss7936 its been like 9 months lol but can u send a link orr
