What sue said. Also Gary if a bear mauls someones face it is always human error and or a setup catastrophe. In this case the bear being held in captivity puts bears and humans in the same space. Now assuming this sanctuary operates well humans will never have direct contact with the bear and never be in their cages at the same time with the bear. If they don't follow that procedure then anything that happens is human error. If bears are in the wild and humans stay away from them then the chances of a mauling drop to almost near zero. Grizzly man decided to mess with the bears with impunity in bear country, he became dinner. Good for the bear and good for a first class Darwin award.
@Gary.F. yyyyyyyea.... you mean the bears who "maul people's faces off" who were trying to handfeed them in the wild, take a selfie in the wild, pet them in the wild, etc. how does it feel to be a stupid individual? Pretty stupid, i'm guessing. haha!

It was wonderful to see him enjoying the water. Thank you wonderful people for saving him.
That broke my heart. I can't help but think of all the wild animals who are still in cages like that. Humans don't deserve this beautiful, majestical, perfect planet.
This is one of the most beautiful videos on UA-cam. The wonder on the bear's face is deeply moving. Bravo to the rescuers! I could watch this every day. This is what we're supposed to do on this earth, for both animals and people. We're supposed to take care of each other.
Wow amazing that he is still normal and sane after so many years of cruel torture. He seems to have it all pretty much together and should be able to overcome the horrors. Good luck Rocco and thank you to his rescuers.
People can be so selfish and cruel, yet rescuers like this show there is goodness and compassion...thank you.
Can you imagine feeling grass under your paws and a pool of water for the very first time? He'll never have to lick bars again! God bless his rescuers.
Rocco is now a really happy Bear...He deserved it absolutely...Thank you Guys for rescueing him...RESPECT...God bless you all...And God bless Rocco, that he can enjoy his new life for a lot of years...Cheers from Switzerland
I'm so happy thay you rescued him..I hope he enjoys every moment..Thank u..I have happy tears for him.🌼
Aww glod bless him he deserve it👑❤
Humans are monsters. Then my heart softens a little when I see the kindness of these heros. Be free how nature intended you to be Rocco.
It’s really just a bigger, more luxurious cage. He is not, nor will he ever be “free”.
Pretty stupid, i'm guessing. haha!
Humans aren't monsters, a few of them can be. Nuance is healthy, nuance is realistic, nuance is the new coffee!
J 🙄
He must be overwhelmed with excitement and joy, being able to jump in water, smell the plants and flowers and move. Thank you for your rescue!
When Rocco ran outside you could see the happiness and the joy, he look like he was smiling and I busted out with tears laughing. God bless you people for saving this precious precious God's Creation.
God bless Rocco. May he live a long and happy life.
It's like she is breathing for the first time in her life. She looks so happy 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Some humans are a disgrace the way they treat animals, thank god for these angels rescuing them.
Whoever saved that bear... I can honestly say that I love you. You too Rocco! I hope the rest of your time here is as it should be!
The look on his face as he looked up and around... he could barely comprehend his luck... He didn't even know he was at a water pool.l! I will always remember this bears video...💜 Thank you✌️
He was SMELLING FREEDOM ❣️🕊️👏
Would like to have seen more video of him out of the cage!
Yeah, I have a feeling this was a doctored video. You see him in cage. Then you see him roaming in his new enclose. Where is the part he is released? They take the trouble and actually forget to film the part where he actually gets his freedom.
This channel has a lot of clickbait. They title videos to get you to watch till the end. It’s a disgusting way to run any entity
@@tallman4040 : Rocco's release is there to see.
@@strineys.957 are you people watching the video???? at 2;18 he is in the cage.. At 2:19, he is roaming the enclose....there is no footage of him walking out of the cage. NONE> It was edited or doctored. anyone can see that.
@Nilly K give me the minutes and seconds of that part, which is not there, but edited out.
What a wonderful thing. Giving him a life he deserves.
Wow! Man, if that doesn’t warm your f’ing heart & put a smile on your face, nothing will.
What a feeling he must have experiencing the cool grass beneath his feet and his first swim probably in his entire life. Thank you🐻
Happy tears. These soulless people need to be charged with animal abuse. Wonderful to watch his reaction when entering into his first real home...to actually swim and drink water and touch grass. 😊💜😊
both charged and a slow painful death
How Wonderful to see Rocco Playing in the water and the open area for him to Roam.
Aww, watching him there in the pool and enjoying the water makes me cry. He loves it! Those cruel people should be the one who needs to be locked up in the metal bars.
It makes believe in the human race again when I see acts of kindness on this level!!!
Thais is so heartwarming! I feel such overwhelming relief for this sweet boy. God bless and long life to Rocco.
That sweet bear always knew where he belonged. You can tell he feels like home. Thank you to any person who helps animals in any way you are able. They need us out there! ❤
God bless Rocco with a wonderful life from now on and no more worries ever.
Poor baby!
I am overwhelmed with emotion about this. It is abhorrent how some people treat animals. And beautifully wonderful how some people save them from their hell of a life and provide them a 2nd chance at a happy healthy forever after....
Thank you so much!!
When he jumped into that tiny bit of water ... 😔💔😔
The feeling of joy I feel when these animals are rescued is overwhelming. This is an evil world and there are a few Angel's running around pretending to be humans, you just watched some in action!
Brought tears to my heart and joy to see Rocco having more Freedom!
I’m literally in tears, wondering what it feels like to be free.
Awwww...did you see the happiness?? The way he looked at the sky and everywhere else?? and that plunge to the pool!! My heart broke into thousands pieces from sadness and happiness at the same time! THANK YOU for his rescue!! and a beautiful video documenting it! xoxoxoxox......
How cruel and heartless does a person have to be to put an animal in a small cage like that? What a complete lowlife.
To make 💰. That pool was probably his first bath . Blessings to all involved in his rescue from captivity ❣️🕊️✝️
Watching him look around...checking freedom out...brought me to tears. Earth angels
Awww you can actually see the bear smile. I thought he might be hesitant or something but he just walked around like "I've been waiting my entire life for this moment". I'm so happy for him!
Made me cry well done for saving him
He can’t believe how happy he is! The plunge in the water, OMG, I felt his joy!
God bless all who helped him and other animals and God bless the animals.
Where was God when he was in the cage. Oh, not existing.
God ?
Which God?
The Creater of mankind, the bullfighter, Barnum and Bailey, the whaler ?
Thomas Alva Edison and his direct current show with a chained elephant?
Pure happiness, may we all learn what it truly means to be happy and loved. All of these animals are truly a gift from God. I have been able to learn so much from animals, and none of it was learned in school. You only need to open your eyes, animals will then fill you with something that you can't buy. Open your eyes, ears, and heart to our furred brothers and sisters, they show the way.
God bless you wonderful people who helped this beautiful 🐻 bear!!! 🙏💖🙏💖
Amazing and wonderful work they are doing! ❤️ 🧡 💛
The good people of this world
he can't believe it. i bet he never even dreamed of anything this nice.
I think that Rocco has never seen that much water in one place. The way he fell into the pool looked like he thought it was a puddle. ..but when he fell in and experienced how good it felt, did you see how happy his face was and how he looked around with wonder and disbelief. I have played that back dozens of times. It just makes me smile so much.
Let’s all pray that animals get a better life
You can help by sign petitions, Care2 and SumOfUs, it really can help. 🤗

@DCD
But Jesus ate fish
Woo! That made me ugly cry when I saw him walking around the yard in the grass, and especially when he was playing in the pool. Beautiful! I was crying and smiling at the same time. I'm so glad that they rescued him. I would have liked to have seen how they got him out of the cage, but I am just glad that he is out of it now, & in the 🐻 sanctuary. May God bless Rocco and his rescuers. Thank you for sharing, The Dodo! Love you and your positive animal videos. They make my day!
Great catch, well done. That bath must have felt amazing.
His coat actually looked in good condition considering his last home.
So sad but I'm happy to know that someone cares about him thank you for sharing this story with me may God bless everyone.
Poor fella 😢, it's sad what he had to go through. But I'm happy that Rocco finally gets to live out the remainder of his life happy and comfortable.
Thank you for saving Rocco's life! Bless y'all
I can understand when we as a people/species did certain things in ignorance. That time has long since past. We know better and have no excuse for evil behaviour. Thanks to the people involved you have both corrected a wrong and you have given some hope.
This brought tears to my eyes, that he had to endure that cage for 8 awful years! Bless you for giving him freedom xo
So glad to see this big boy enjoying his life at last! I especially like how he keeps looking up at the sky, which he probably has never truly seen before. Nice video.
He was smelling freedom literally ❣️🕊️👏
I knew bears can look cute but NOT adorable!!! Rocco is so ADORABLE!! You can totally tell he is happy. No bear should live in a cage in someone's backyard they're meant to be FREE!!
Heartbreaking then heartwarming. Thanks guys.
I’m so happy for him- hopefully he gets a friend to spend time with♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you The Dodo crew for finding your Purpose of rescuing animals, both big and small ones, giving them Freedom and Life. May you all continue to be protected on your beautiful journey of unconditional love.
It makes me cry to think of any animal stuck in a cage for so many years. It brings more tears to my eyes when i see them being released in a sanctuary with all the freedom to run and finally bring happiness into their lives. God bless everyone who helped to make this possible💖💖💖
His expressions are priceless. Dreams can come true!
Made me cry watching his reaction. Something tells me he's gonna spend a lot if time in that pool! The most telling moment was when he looked up and saw sky with no bars.
It was beautiful watching him taking the scenes of a world he'd never experienced before thank you for saving him and giving him a better beautiful life
Rocco loves his pool! ❤️ I’m so glad you were able to rescue him!! 🙂👍🏼🐻
Thank you for saving Rocco!! May God bless him with healing, peace and love. May everyone who played a role in this rescue.know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I Love you. And God Loves you even more 💞💖💞
Tears of happiness! It’s just so heartbreaking to think what we do to wild animals- lock them away in small cages or small tiny enclosures- it’s so unfair. After all the suffering, he gets to live as he should! Thank you to everyone that helped to save him, & others! You are truly Hero’s 🐻♥️💟🦋🌸💕🐻♥️‼️
