I like making frozen custard which has to be cooked because of the egg yolks and then cooled. I assume this machine will churn that just as well as a regular ice cream. I think I'll buy one! Thank you for all the good ideas !
Your parties must be awesome. The machine is pretty cool and I like the idea of the slushies for grown-ups. But I do think whipping out 5 different flavours of store-bought hard ice cream from your freezer, with cones and sprinkles would also be almost as big a hit at a party.

We got the vevor 1 flavor machine used on marketplace for $200. We used the same mix you bought. It was a huge hit at the grad party! 3 kids left to graduate so we'll get a lot of parties out of it. It's important to note - this mix is DAIRY FREE!!
I’m having a hard time mixing. How much mix to use for a quart in the maker.

Ive been shopping around, i saw a huge 6-handle unit that looked like it was maybe 12 feet long, prob for like the roller rink or bowling alley an such. keep in mind it was refurbished, it wasnt even new.. that bad boy was $32 THOUSAND freaking dollhairs!!!

I’m all in! If you like Italian gelato, you can definitely make it in this machine.
And if you want DIP CONES, mix 2 parts chocolate chips with 1 part coconut oil and heat/stir till melted. Let cool then dip the icecream cones into it.

Without the machine, I use 125 g shaved ice (or snow), 125 g cold water, and 30 g of soft-serve mix, in a cup and use a immersion blender...For one serving....it is not going to be as smooth but good enough for me....and it is dairy free for lactose intolerant people...

Where can you get an ice-cream cone for $1.00???? Every place I know is $2.50+ for a kiddie. The ROI is much less than 500 cones, it’s probably 150-200 cones.

One HUGE complaint... you buy an Ice Cream maker to make your own at home, and the first thing you buy is pre-mixed Vanilla Ice Cream mix with artificial vanilla. Come on, man! If you're going to make Ice Cream at home, at the very least, make real Ice Cream that is a bit healthier (I say loosely) than buying some random package with who-knows-what is inside of it. Other than that, I like the idea of making it at home, and I want one of these machines.
