I don’t think that kid is going to have any problems growing his social media, he just needs to expose himself to the masses and this podcast is a good start. I’m about to follow him now.
I agree. He’s someone worth rooting for
Great dude. Thanks for opening up, will be rooting for you and all the guys out there but definitely excited for you and Trey
Great conversation, kudos on having JT on the Bilge and giving him the opportunity, exposure! I’ll be rooting for JT this year and many more on the Elites 😉
@zaldaingerous biggest fan here you are the most down to earth person ever.
The young man is 10yrs ahead of his time!!! He will be fun to watch for years to come.
Both myself and my wife are pleasantly surprised by how wise he is at such a young age. Rooting for the kid
This kid is got the right attitude! The right work ethic. The integrity of a man beyond his years! He will make it & do very well in Bass elites. Very impressive for a 22 year old! Thanks guys for a great show & introducing JT to us! God Bless!
Well I ll be keeping a eye on that young man. Very impressed, pulling for ya JT.
What an intelligent and well rounded young man. Thank you, Chris and Trait for that podcast, fantastic job as always. Good luck to JT and Chris on tour this season!
That kid is more mature than anyone I’ve ever met in their 20s and perhaps well into their 30s! He is destined to go far, and with his attitude and worth ethic, I think we’re going to see him in the top echelon for years to come. Kudos to him for reaching out to you, Chris, and kudos to you for introducing this young wonderful talent to us all.
Perfect, getting rigged for a guide trip tomorrow. Needed something to listen to, thanks Chris! Awesome timing!
My pleasure!
Was welcoming from the first time I met him, got to stay with him for a couple opens and learned a ton the last 2 years. Great podcast!
Great guy. He stayed at my house for several days and it was good to get to know one of the rookies
Had to
Seems like a very likable kid for sure. Love the bilge man. So good
Great interview. The positivity that comes from this guy is going to be contagious. Keep up the good work and good luck on the elites to both of yall.
Great show guys. JT was a great choice to have on. Wish the both of y’all the best this year. Always love watching Chris fish been following what he does for years. One of my favorites.
What an amazing guy, positive and driven will get you far in any dream you chase.
Seems like a great well grounded kid. You know when Trait likes you you’re doing something right 😁. Good luck JT on your elite career!
🎯
Great interview! And very well spoken young man
I'm not going to forget when Chris said "when you look up, and cast out, you realize this ain't it" that's a huge, true statement. Unfiltered truth about industry, hell life changing, technology. Won't forget that.
Toledo as of 6 am on 2-15-24 is 171.53. Less than six inches from full pool. So 186 thousand and change acres to fish with over 1200 miles of fishable shoreline good luck guys. My home pond and can’t wait to see how it goes down. I’ll catch mine on Saturday the only day I have to fish. Hope y’all catch em all 4 days.
💪🏽
What a fascinating perspective. It's humbling to hear how in tuned these guys are. You think you're good and then you hear how these pro's prepare and adapt. Reminds me of some of my old golfing buddies, some who went pro. You have no idea how good and next level these guys are. Just because you shoot 2 under one time, you think you can compete. Nah, you have to shoot 5-7 under every round just to make the cut. These guys are pro's for a reason.
Thanks for helping us get to know him
Doing a great job with the podcast!!
These young guys can not only catch em they are polished beyond their years
I’ve been very impressed with the guys who have qualified fishing all 9. They all seem to have it together, where some of the guys who qualified fishing 3 you could tell first interview they weren’t going to make it.
Damn good episode everyone !!👏
This is the greatest show,(meaning the bilge) and JT was fun .
I can’t live without it.i am the shot.
Great show
Super good pod! Ups driver Bill....the smalllie slayer....approved! 👍 🐟 nice one guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
JT’s legit. Talked with him at media day last year when he was parked next to Canterbury
He's got a great foundation to last in the Elites!
That was a disgustingly positive episode, no doubt. Normal service will resume shortly. There's an actor in Ireland who was in one of the most successful Guinness television ad ever. And I wondered if I'd ever meet guys like that (it's the ad where he danced around the pint of Guinness, before finally drinking it). I remember years later I was around the guy and his buds, and the only topic of conversation was the strife and arguments over reimbursement between production companies and actors. I remember feeling so hollow on the inside. The guy had a brief, single great moment of acting exposure to a massive TV audience. And it was then all down hill. It was a hard realization I remember at the time. Life is not all gravvy.
Great pod! You guys should have miliken on soon!
1st time I’ve heard of him. Bout to look him up
Awesome
“Ur gonna get us cancelled.” 😂😂😂😂
I’m rewatching now so I can steal it 😂, fem- “something” lol😂
A solid dude for sure 👍
No doubt
JT seems like a good dude, I'll keep an eye on him & follow him this season. Kick some ass SeaBass! Chris roughly how long do I gotta wait for your loaded swimbaits in larger size? How many different or what sizes are gonna end up being released?? Can't beat the 6" but I personally like little bit bigger swimbaits for drawing power & help reduce some of smaller bites. I'm not a tournament angler but I love kayak fishing & throwing big baits, finding hard to get areas where it's just me & mother nature. My goal this year is to beat my PB largmouth from last a 11.4 & catch a striper over 30lbs. Gonna b a challenge but that's half the fun. & You can never ever have enough boom sticks!!!!!!
Can't wait to try the new loaded swimbait
It’s starting to get just right for it down south 🤘🏽
Positive show. The kid has got it right, cant live without fishing. If im not fishing someone else is and that drives us crazy!
He’s got a good head on his shoulders. Going to enjoy following his career growth
@@Zaldaingerous myself and many others will enjoy watching both your careers grow 👍
Outstanding, as per usual for the Zaldains - The Bilge. My greatest regret in my fishing life is not buying the Trait Zaldain spinning rod when i saw it....Dang it!😂
Good stuff as usual!!
And always remember when you are on live do not put the spit up Shad back in the fishes mouth. Lol😂. I love watching Zaldain on live always entertaining and I always learn something new. Yall keep it up.
😂😂😂
Good people.
JT going to have success right away
He certainly has the work ethic to find success quickly
Dude said…
33% fishing…
66%…….
That’s 99% I would have loved to know what the last 1% is? But nope…. Chris didn’t let him finish…. Please let these guys talk! Since I have your attention…. Trait doesn’t get enough credit for the Prime sponsor a few years back. That was DOPE!
It was cool to see someone that is probably stereotyped as a “scoper” bust out all his fishing knowledge. You can tell he would be successful regardless of whether he had 1 or 6 garmins.
I have enjoyed getting to know him. He understands how to pattern fish and seasonal movements. Extremely detailed
When is the Big Box Store interview coming??
What do you mean?
@@Zaldaingerous awhile back you said you was gonna do a big box store interview on how to get baits into the box stores and what percent they might charge to carry someone's product..
Love your videos and interviews. You never fail and always ask the right questions . Keep it up!
“Our most positive podcast to date”. Sad that even needs to be a thumbnail in these times. 🍿🎣🍻
Seems like “positivity” is the hot word in the industry right now
Fem-essential, I LOVE IT! LMAO!!!!!!
😅
Seems like a fine young man
Drew Gill is a different mind than the sport has seen minus A-mart.
Wrestling personality can make you successful at anything.
Wait a minute.. So people aren't hiring graphic designers to put together the artwork for their boat wrap? Hit me up yo.
Nope and they should be…
Livescope isn't fishing , these new guys wouldn't be able to compete if they took livescope away
Rubik's cube to make a living 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Need to get milliken on this podcast
He should start his own podcast
Hmmm I guess y'all don't get along
@@bradcoco5224 I was kinda thinking the same thing, maybe I took that wrong 🤷♂️
Unfortunately Chris Z. aligned with the ego monster from Lunker TV. They did a video recently slamming Ben. Maybe Chris and Trait can get the Swim Bait back from Bass Mafia (ran by the same ego monster) and go straight to BPS.
Positivity is BAD
Lol
I love pro fishing, but I feel pros are slaves to sponsors just to take part in something that is not a financially viable sport. This is supposed to be a dream "job" but you (the pros) basically have a corporate job that allows you to fish on occasion. You're basically a glorified advertising dept.
Hey Trait, would you be interested in being on a podcast as a guest?
I sent a message in your Instagram!
Great interview. He sounds like a great kid!
