Just another reason why I love FNM, they'll play whatever the hell they feel like playing and you better believe it will sound great. FNM, among the greatest.
I love the Brothers Johnson and they did them right by this cover. So funny to see people’s reactions to the change up. I’m sure that’s on purpose - they’ve always been a bit mischievous and funny, especially Patton. It’s great! If you just like music, regardless of genre, FNM has to be a band that piques your interest.
They seem to love throwing people off, I just love everything about this band. Mike Patton has brought so much to music, we won’t see another like him.
Mike Bordin is one of the most underrated drummers. He’s played with Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Jerry Cantrell, and even played a few shows with Black Sabbath when Bill Ward had to take time off.
Didn't he play with Korn also or AC DC? Its late and trying to remember what concert I saw him besides seeing FNM at the beginning of their career in Raleigh and VaBch in 97 or 98.
I just listened to when they performed this song on Leno in 1993, and now this in 2015. Mike's voice is just as good in 2015 as it was in 93. All the members put on such a good performance still.
Next time someone throws in the term "under-rated" please throw in Mike Bordin - amazing drummer, super hard hitting, his beats are iconic, boomy but bouncy.
Hehehe ... Saravá!!
I had my MLC in 1992, I hummed the track (and all the others from Angel Dust), when I released myself for a vacation to the island of "bitter lemons (Lawrence Durrell)", Cyprus, when this WOMAN became Aphrodite, I was for a late swim, when ergo beautiful Annie Lennox (sort-o-lookalike) type, even more pretty - that body... , raised from Mare Nostrum, an Oranje tan, an oranje swim suite (yes she was Dutch) And I was about to ask her if there were more like her/"you" where you came from? She just smiled, stretched her remarcable physique - and she entrolled me. Then I realized I was married. Bugger! Anyfreakinway, every time I listen to AD, a smile appears. Evidence.
Epic? Lol yeah bud, I hope you're digging deeper. Normally people stumble into shallower rabbit holes before the Mike Patton/FNM stuff. You're in for a wild ride!
A legendary actor who recently passed away, Jack Lemmon. Patton and Lemmon, both amazing comical performers. When I see one or the other, I think of the other. I'm mentioning the younger Lemmon and his demeanor reminds me of Patton. (vice versa)
head and shoulders above all others. These guys would be one of the few bands who are actually better now than they were back in the 80s/90s. Astounding.
Holy shit, FANTASTIC QUALITY on this one!! Thank for sharing man! Best lyrics in the last few decades, lightweights need not apply! SHEER GENUS JUMPING INTO BROTHERS JOHNSON!! Had that record as a kid!
6 minute clip barely showing Billy Gould putting out that amazing bass tone. Post-production editor and/or the director on-site for the cameras, dropped the ball.
The years have gone by way too fast on this second reunion of them. They started with Coachella 2009. Then the new album finally in 2015... and you're telling me it's almost 10 years since then!?!?!? Makes me want to scream, the years are flying now I don't care what anybody says.. Somehow time has accelerated.
I suspect it was either a defense mechanism, joke against the masses/recording company, or just being a general shit. He had the chops then, they're insane now.
Puffy truly is a great drummer and as much as I agree he doesn’t get the level of credit he deserves…the fact he has played with Sabbath, Ozzy, Korn, Black Label Society and Primus in between his FNM commitments suggests he has the full respect of the people who truly matter!
Patton is the real deal :/ So many fools trying to sell you their brand of insane genius in the entertainment biz...Saw Fantomas years ago and it scared the crap out of me 🤣
this was so fucking dope...
Hail from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Strawberry Letter 23 and FNM!?! Mind blown 🤯 The versatility of this band never ends!
One of the best band in history. Mike Patton in the top ten of the best rock voices in the last 70 years
What rock voices were there before 70 years ago? Lol
🤣@@wessley4606
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you keep it fresh 20 odd years on. You're perfect, yes it's true
Just another reason why I love FNM, they'll play whatever the hell they feel like playing and you better believe it will sound great. FNM, among the greatest.
Absolutely!

Mike and crew got amazing love from the crowd singing chorus. One of the best audience participation/take the lead I've ever seen.
Legendary voice and master musicians. Bassman is correctly emphasized.
Mike nailing the tone as usual

KORN is too, too CORNY in the METAL era!!!!!
this actually shows that he is not underrated at all!
He is a beast but underrated because he always stays in the pocket and does not overplay. He is the antithesis of Lars.
@@christianjackson9360 Not one bit and that's just your hatred for Korn.
3:05 ...Strawberry letter + fnm? Dream just came true. They really are a funky band!
Even after all these years their sound is a fresh escape from everything else!! Such a unique band.
First heard in early 90s. Now listening in 2020.
my face just smile like that, thank You so
I just listened to when they performed this song on Leno in 1993, and now this in 2015. Mike's voice is just as good in 2015 as it was in 93. All the members put on such a good performance still.
I can tell it's even better
Fuck an A right it is!
His voice is timeless and never gets old to me! Because of their band name it’s ironic I’m saying God bless this band!
Спасибо Вам, Майк Паттон, и группе Faith No More! Вы дали миру многое❤❤❤
Для начала 90 х это было огннено
Next time someone throws in the term "under-rated" please throw in Mike Bordin - amazing drummer, super hard hitting, his beats are iconic, boomy but bouncy.
He's like double 30 something and still hitting hard as hell. Easily my favorite drummer
I saw him when he filled in with Korn. You never knew he wasn’t in the band.
Just don't call him _Puffy_ .
Ozzy liked him mate
Still plays better than Lars hahahaha
Love Faith No More and Strawberry Letter 23. Perfect video for me. Many thanks for the upload.
Mike seems happier and less moody as he's gotten older
MY FAVORITE SONG IN THE WORLD! STRAWBERRY LETTER 23 THE BROS JOHNSON!- I PLAYED IT TIL IT WORE OUT!
3:37 "Faith No More - Easy" poor guys at the production confused af
Oh yes is true kkkkkk

Small Victory

Unbelievable performance from anyone else. Only FNM could pull that off. wow. just wow.
Best snare ever

Notei o altar acho que muitos não entendem. Eles de branco e com as guias no pescoço. Foi a Vera Cavalera que iniciou eles .
Fantastic
Holy crap that falsetto in strawberry letter!
SOO LOVE THE CONFUSED LOOKS ON EVERYONE'S FACES.........(SONG SWITCH)
Melhor de todos. Passei a minha infância escutando esses caras. Top top
Love me some Brothers Johnson!
Wow, great midlife crisis performance in 2015!!
I love them since their Angel Dust Album.
And still love them after my midlife crisis :D
hahaha
I had my MLC in 1992, I hummed the track (and all the others from Angel Dust), when I released myself for a vacation to the island of "bitter lemons (Lawrence Durrell)", Cyprus, when this WOMAN became Aphrodite, I was for a late swim, when ergo beautiful Annie Lennox (sort-o-lookalike) type, even more pretty - that body... , raised from Mare Nostrum, an Oranje tan, an oranje swim suite (yes she was Dutch) And I was about to ask her if there were more like her/"you" where you came from? Old rockers...forever!!!!!!!!!, Brillant..!!!!

Os caras continuam arrebentando. Maravilha.
I’ve never heard this song until this video. Honestly I just know this band by that “what is it song” that I was never crazy about. Wow I missed out
Epic? Lol yeah bud, I hope you're digging deeper. Normally people stumble into shallower rabbit holes before the Mike Patton/FNM stuff. You're in for a wild ride!
FNM, one of my favorite bands from the beginning. Every song in their entire catalog is a gem, great diversity. I eagerly wait for a new album please.
That's an interesting stage decor and outfit ensemble haha it fits somehow though
"We don't make the rules. We break them." - FNM.
Epic!
More than epic....
Midlife Crisis is the #1 album of the whole 90's decade - stunning, prophetical & delicious!
Angel Dust
Love the fans reaction to the change up haha, then the switch back
I am losing my Mom very soon. Listening to this made my heart smile!!
Hope it continues to smile through these hard times.. all the best!
You're perfect yes it's true, but without me you're only you.
Lyric from Heaven!
Great lyrics!
Go on dig your thumbs in
Excellent!
Mike is perfect... Has been since the 80s
3:25 The Brothers Johnson... Sensacional 👌
Na realidade Shuggie Ottis é o autor da música !
Their needs to be a studio version of strawberry letter 23, loved that song since I first heard it on jackie brown.
THIS WAS FUCKING AWESOME. That sea of vanilla got damn confused when Brothers Johnson arrived. God, I love FNM 100x more for this!
"he's out of line, but he's right"
Sea of vanilla.. lol.
LOVE IT!!!
Melhor vocalista do mundo.deus abencoe vc .sua saude.ea banda.🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Deus abençoe a ti pelo ótimo gosto tbm :)
Talk about versatile. Launching into Brothers Johnson.
A legendary actor who recently passed away, Jack Lemmon. Patton and Lemmon, both amazing comical performers. When I see one or the other, I think of the other. I'm mentioning the younger Lemmon and his demeanor reminds me of Patton. (vice versa)
Recently? Jack Lemmon died in 2001, you moron.
Excellent Live Performance! Strawberry Letter 23 confused the audience, but they were bobbing their heads to it.
John Hudson with an E-Bow... amazing!
head and shoulders above all others. These guys would be one of the few bands who are actually better now than they were back in the 80s/90s. Astounding.
Strawberry Letter 23 starts, the crowd is like wtf
I love that guy in the Muse shirt, if these two bands are his absolute favourites he really rocks
My favourite faith no more song hands down
Musica atemporal
You're purple, yes it's true, but without red you are only blue.
Whoa...
Lol.. awesome.
Yes, just yes.
Next line: "Your minestrone art can't feed enough for two!"

Amazing Mike Patton!!!
The girls are awesome :)
6 minute clip barely showing Billy Gould putting out that amazing bass tone. Post-production editor and/or the director on-site for the cameras, dropped the ball.
Almost always the bass player is absent in the video
The shot choices are really odd, way too much crowd stuff
his voice...omg
Som fnm nunca envelhece...
Wow Strawberry 23 ... Old school awesome.
Just Awesome 😁
Fodástico!
Faith no more is the best
Without you, you’re only me.
For something they are the best !!
That quality!
I like how the caption credits it as "Easy."
without me it's only you ... still counts =)
It's good to see a little stage craft...what a rarity.
Great vid!!!
Bad as fuck! The Brothers Johnson interlude of Strawberry Letter 22 was fantastic!!
Melhor rock
these guys man....the best. How bad would you hate to have to go on after these fuckers?
Still kicking ass,wow
Top song from both Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown!
Oh hell yeah
He can still sound like the 80s nasal patton if he wants to
I suspect it was either a defense mechanism, joke against the masses/recording company, or just being a general shit. He had the chops then, they're insane now.
@@NobodyCaresALot he san nasally to be annoying and piss off the record label but then it still worked out when the album did great lol
Rickie Jervais is just kicking it 🤠
3:03 Strawberry Letter 23
Glad to see Kevin pollak has started a band - he's really starting to shape like hes gonna be reall good drummer to
Awesome
Epic
Drummer is phenomenal
Puffy truly is a great drummer and as much as I agree he doesn’t get the level of credit he deserves…the fact he has played with Sabbath, Ozzy, Korn, Black Label Society and Primus in between his FNM commitments suggests he has the full respect of the people who truly matter!
very nice with FNM in limburg
Patton is the real deal :/ So many fools trying to sell you their brand of insane genius in the entertainment biz...Saw Fantomas years ago and it scared the crap out of me 🤣
Tomahawk too
