Pyrodex Paper Cartridges - 20 Years Old -Will They Still Work

I made these back in the day before I had internet access and before good old UA-cam was around. Needless to say, I had very little instructions on how to make black powder revolver paper cartridges back then.

Pyrodex does degrade over time. I suspect your first cartridge being in the 350 -500 fps range and second in 150-300 fps.

I put the remainder back where I found them and we shall see what they do after they have sat there for another 20 years..........LOL

Make some new paper cartridges using Dustins kit, and sock those away for 20 years and lets see how well they do.

@@rezlogan4787 hopefully you wouldn't load 20 year old black powder cartridges in a firearm that is meant to be used for personal protection. P.S. I do not have a chronograph but if you would like to donate one to the channel....... LOL
