@@hitisiti2791 yes and no....not every artist has to reinvent the wheel or change the culture. Every artist has their own lane and some artist just like making songs. Aslong as the shit sound good and the fans that like whatever particular sound enjoys it and the artist likes the finish product...then what's the issue. There is not a wrong or right way to create music and what works for one artist might not fit the next. At the end of the day the whole point of music and art is to have fun and create.

I started making beats because I Mainly rap and I think type beats are a scam. I’ve always had a deep love and connection with Lo Fi like literally freestyling to my patients over Lo-Fi Beats taking them to appointments and making their day. I started about two months ago I’m at the point where I can chop and sample pretty decent but I can’t make everything sound exactly as I want that’s why I’m looking to cop the SP404MK2 and since I’ve already had a huge love for hip hop and did my research on the lyricist side I wanted to take time and learn about history of beatmaking with J Dilla and Madlib and holy fuck I have so far to go but this shit is fun just as much as rapping because even if you fuck up a take you still loving what you’re doing.
How are type beats a scam? You're just one of them cheap rappers who don't want to pay for beats.

He's right that why I'm transitioning into becoming an artist myself and just rap over my beats. Chasing after artists just to get them to rap over your beats is tiring and majority of them don't even want to pay for them.

Nobody wants to admit that UA-cam and “type beats” completely watered down the game and made producing and beat making a art form that isn’t appreciated. Then once SoundCloud aloud anybody just just record and post we got the worst of both sides. Now it has blended into the mainstream just because people are more interested in the person than the skills of the craft.
I’d buy a t shirt from literally all of my favorite producers if they simply offered some decent looking shirts at a fair price. Thats gotta be one of the dumbest statements ever. Doesn’t matter what your job is, people like and support you or they don’t. There’s many examples of people who strictly only make beats. And they do well from it. I’ve always hated Kenny making statements like this. He’s too general. Way too general.
