@@ting280 Funny how it's always the well-disciplined, responsible people who are told to "show some empathy." The thing is, empathy works both ways. Perhaps this woman should show some empathy for her kids, who have no safe spot to play in their own yard because their mother is unable to provide the basic upkeep of their home, or her neighbors, who have their property values diminished by her negligence. Instead of asking those of us who are responsible to “put ourselves in the places” of the person who is irresponsible -- not to mention the choice to have five kids on top of that! -- maybe you should be asking her to put herself in the mindset of one who is able to make more responsible and thoughtful choices. Like spending one hour every two weeks cutting the grass. Or perhaps not having so many kids that one cannot support. Or not buying a house one cannot keep up. Indeed, if SHE did more empathizing with others, then maybe she wouldn't be in this spot.

Impressed SB. You landed at a place where you were needed, and put back in the very needed "use" factors. How great that her kids could recognize it and were thrilled. It is fun to see the form becoming apparent as you work on the street edging and sidewalk. You did a lot of crisis tree work, from removing seedling trees on foundations, fences and in the yard as well as raising up low tree branches in the sidewalk and yard. Appreciate you cleared the utility access area at 26:26, the utility workers would thank you. Your mower is keeping up with you, as you are working full-tilt and over a large area. Wow - this one is unreal! She was going to use a push mower on all that? I don’t think so! It always seems the worst ones are double lots with tons of sidewalks in front and around the homes. And so many shrubs, plants and tree branches that needed trimming! I love it when sidewalks get cleared, so people in the community can actually use them. Excellent job, Spencer.

The thing I really love in these videos is cleaning up the sidewalks. I get the practicality of leaving it up to homeowners, but it seems to me that the city should suck it up and keep them usable if people are unable or unwilling to keep them clear. We'd never accept that same kind of standard for roads, asking people to fill potholes for the section of street in front of their homes. But, it is how it is, so I'm glad to see sidewalks getting cleaned up and made usable again.

You can add TK Lawns, M&D Lawn Care and Blessing Boys to that list. There are a lot of good channels like this out there now, I've been with this channel since before the sidewalk video that made him famous, though I am recently leaning more towards the ones that clean up the bulk of the cuttings, looks so much better than leaving a blanket of cut grass.

The average person would never let their yard get this way.Sorry I worked 48 hours a week and my husband worked from Feb. to May without a day off and our lawn never got like this. We found time. If she had 5 kids surely one or two of them were old enough to help.
@@beverlyroyal9838 you don't know her situation. I'm sure you've found yourself in difficult situations that would have been easy for someone else to get out of. show some empathy.
@@DaveMorgansMartian like I said you don't know her story. sorry yours has so few chapters in it you can't concieve of a reason someone would fall behind.
One hard worker helping another, she must feel like all her Christmasses arrived at once 😁
It’s nice to see that you are helping a homeowner who really deserves your exemplary landscaping skills rather than doing an abandoned property. You did a wonderful act of service for this fine lady and her children
Agreed. I understand that abandoned properties are an eyesore for the neighborhood, but I really love it when there is a person immediately and directly benefiting.
The black SUV with the flat tire from last week's video has not moved a bit.
🌿🌺🌿 I agree 100%
The reason he does abandoned properties so often is there is no one to clean/mow those properties up and they are an eyesore for the entire neighborhood. He loves to help out families too, but I can see why he does clean up abandoned properties so often also. He is a very hard working young man, and he seems to have a knack for finding folks in need of that help that he is so great about providing and all for free.
Man, the best part about this, is catching a glimpse of the kids playing in the yard. Great job on this one!
That is such a lovely change at 42:29.
As an elderly, disabled woman, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Blessings from Michigan.
I’m in Michigan also
I am enjoying this video from Michigan as well.
This woman takes care of the kids of Wichita so I am glad you could take care of her Spencer! Wow! What a difference!
Thank you, Spencer, for helping out a busy mom, who is the source of kindness and nutrition for area school children. Pay it forward, all!
Elizabethruggiero9950, and thank YOU for being part of the rare species of English speakers who know where to place a comma when addressing someone. I know you see what most people do! (Weary smile)
This is heartwarming! If ever there was someone in need of a riding mower, it is this beautiful woman. She needs a go fund me for a used riding mower.
Wonderful idea!
That’s life changing for the family and the entire community
Thank you Spencer for cleaning her lawn for free. That looks amazing. She needs to be recognized by her community for feeding all those children what an amazing human being. Thank you mam for all your hard work.
She apparently works at the central location here where school lunches are prepared and then taken to the schools they service.
A full time job for all who work there!
You mean she should be recognized for doing her job?
She has helpers
@@glorias8540I never knew that was a thing ....

I was just watching an episode from Midwest Magic Cleaning, and heard his shout-out to you! It will be absolutely amazing to watch a collaboration with a bunch of all my favorite UA-camrs - cleaning indoors, gardens, pressure washing etc. Thank you for being one of the most wonderful, generous, compassionate people out there❤
Wow, I think this is your best video ever. Can’t believe you moved and fixed up their trampoline. You are very kind. ❤
Holy huge yard, Batman!!! No wonder it takes her 2 days to take care of it!! Thank you for helping out this wonderful lady!!
Looks like a full week with a push mower, and seemingly endless stall-outs from the overgrowth.
She wouldn't have a clue, she's never done it.
She needs a riding mower, a big one.

Do more of these and less abandoned properties. There are lots of needy families that can benefit from your generosity & skills Spencer. Contact the Wichita City Manager for a list of needy families threatened with code violations.
Great idea. ‼️
She needs to be gifted with a riding mower. She is probably a single mother.
Another great job! Hopefully, this has made it manageable for her in the future.

Hey Spencer, this one really tugged my heartstrings. I worked my entire career in a public school. Those workers don’t get paid nearly enough. Thank you for helping this Mom.
I was never paid enough
Just wanted to let you know that my pal Midwest Magic Cleaning has given you a shout out. He was wearing your t-shirt in his latest video. Love your work. Keep up the great service.
It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday at the golf event kind sir. Happy to subscribe and support someone doing wonderful works for his community!
I was just thinking that.😊
The corner lot curse! And Spencer uses his magic to lift the curse!🪄🍃
Yes! Another blessed soul who knows where to place a comma when addressing someone! Lol.

@@syndillucian I understand all that. And I can appreciate the abandoned property cleanups. I just prefer the ones with occupants
Loved seeing the birds grabbing worms in the gutters as you dug up the dirt. 🐦
Thank you for helping a hard working momma who is doing her best! You are appreciated ❤
Lol that woman said it would take her 2 days to mow her yard. I don't think she realized how tall her grass has grown. It gotten to a point that It would have been too much for her. She putothers needs before her own. Bless her heart. Thank goodness you came along to help her. You did a great job as always!
I think she meant when it was being cut regularly. Trust me, she realized how overgrown it was and I am sure that was a daunting prospect to think of trying to mow all that. Spencer to the rescue. God bless him for all he does!
You picked a really great yard. 1, she needed it 2, it really shows off your skills 3, proves how a really good job changes a house.
By helping her you're helping feed the kids in the community! Thank you Spencer!
I can’t imagine mowing that entire lot with a push mower!! Thank you, Spencer, for helping someone who really needs it! 💕
So many of the comments about enjoying watching a video of you helping where someone actually lives. I agree! Those kids are going to enjoy that yard now and it's huge! It would take me more than 2 days to mow all that. Bless her heart! And bless you, Spencer, for helping her out.
When this homeowner said it took her 2 days with her little rundown mower, it must have been 2 *VERY busy, eight hour days* at the very least. So glad that Spencer could get this yard looking better for this amazing lunch lady!
She's a lazy liar.

This lady is a remarkable woman to do what she does. My mother was the main cook for Wichita for over 30 years, over 20 years ago. It’s not easy work and your thinking about the food 🍱 the kids will eat. Of course my mom made everything from scratch for years. These people are right up there with teachers 👩🏫 👨🏿🏫 and YES great yard work Spencer❤
She's a paid cafeteria worker probably union, FFS.

A well deserved lawn transfomation for this lady.
No amount if grass and volunteer trees stop you. This is a great transformation for such a wonderful lunch lady.

School Cafeteria workers also make breakfast as well as lunch. It's an all day job. Takes a special person. Her kids should help her.
Never breakfast
Morning Spencer, men like you, and Al Bladez are a blessing for everyone to do what you do
You can add TK Lawns, M&D Lawn Care and Blessing Boys to that list. There are a lot of good channels like this out there now, I've been with this channel since before the sidewalk video that made him famous, though I am recently leaning more towards the ones that clean up the bulk of the cuttings, looks so much better than leaving a blanket of cut grass.
@@TLoumena I think he did fantastic for free work. He edged, trimmed and cut back trees .... he spent 10 hours of his time w/o charging a dime. I think h did one helluva job!!!! Go Spencer!
That lawnmower is an absolute monster.

I was thinking the same thing 😂. I always think about all they can hit in a yard with grass that tall.
Thought it struggled to be honest, mind you that grass was long.
Greetings Spencer, SB fan here, I felt that mom's sincerity when she expressed her gratitude to you. I also felt your joy when you saw how excited & appreciative the kids were to come home to such an amazing transformation. Which allowed them to have their yard back to safely play in again. She deserved that blessing seeing as she feeds the school children for the city of Wichita. For all the blessings you've given to others Spencer, may it return back to you 10 fold so you can continue to help others in need. Peace & Blessings.

She needs to make her kids help with the lawn now that it is manageable. She can't do it on ger own. What a massive area!! If it takes Spencer 10 hours how long is it going to take for a person with normal equipment..
Love the transformation and the gratitude! Great job Spencer!
Those kids are so happy, and you could have done even more tree trimming. What a blessing you are
I loved this one. I wish we could do a gofundme for her to get her a better mower and fix up a few things at her house
I was thinking the exact same thing! Maybe to get her something bigger than a push mower. ❤
She's stuffing her face, not the trash pail
She needs a full-time maid, credit cards paid. How much are you giving every month for years?
A new mower dont make difference, need to get driven to.. 🙄
She’s not going to do it herself. She’s a nice lady but she’s overweight and won’t mow her own lawn.
