Great Job! I have those culottes in last season's color (cream) which are JUST PERFECT when matched with a cream t shirt or blouse. I also wore a cream hat from Time and Tru. The complements were ridiculous! And it was just a clearanced pr. of culotte, 3 dollar hat (also clearanced), and bargain t shirt! That's what matching a few quality pieces can do. As the weather gets cooler I shall wear it with my sueded camel-colored boots from Time and Tru and cream, long sleeve blouse - also from Scoop. The boots you chose were marvelous with your culottes, BTW. And I think it it worth noting that those culottes are wonderfully easy to get on and off. The buttons open so easily but never pop open when seated. Seldom have I even liked culottes, let along vfallen in loved with them on first wearing. :) Thanks again!
I agree w you about the culottes- They’re just fantastic (I have them in the blue denim). And I’m only 5’1” tall, but they’re still short enough on me to give that gauchos-look ( rather than being high waters - gotta love 70s fashion!). I find myself grabbing them often, and get many compliments. Love your idea of pairing with a cool hat! 😎
@@antoinettechevalier2453 Thank you! :) Agreed. I am impressed, something I never expected, as I tend to wear pants and skirts, but NOT culottes or gauchos. The kicker is when you amp it up by adding the color of top and hat to match the bottom - at least if you're shorter like we are, LOL. It looks runway, IMHO.
