I’m in to a variety of genetics, but one big part of it is putting big blacks in to dairy via embryo transfer. Those big black hippos go really well with scrub fed Mexican cattle for grind, and a lot of my farmer feeders choose genetics that go right along with that program. For their sake, I hope they get the border worked out. As for the rest of our production, 30% prime, 69% high choice will always have people lining up to buy. The grass finished genetics market is small, but we’re capturing some of that as well, but mark my words, the day of dairy genetics is the next “thing.” They are not breeding back the replacements due to the beef prices right now. The next trend is going to be on dairy genetics. It will be a lot smaller, but it will be measurable.
Brad is the best👍🤠

High prices will take care of high prices
Only if people get greedy and start breeding heifers to increase the herd.
