Flipped Strip Journaling Card

- Dive into your stash of patterned paper strips and 12X12 cut-offs and choose one to create this cute Flipped Strip journal card. It’s easy, functional and so handy to slip into a pocket or tuck spot in your current junk journal project. You can finish several in just a few minutes or they can be designed to be neutral and left undecorated to finish later.

Kathleen, I love this idea! It's so cute and so versatile. I was wondering at the beginning of the video if this was going to be something for your crime journal, and sure enough... It's perfect and the fingerprint is the perfect touch for the ones for that journal. I can imagine so many ways to use this piece. I love how simple it is to make but how much impact it has. I love the idea, and I'm already looking for strips to try this with. My brain can't figure out how you tied the ribbon at the top of the cards at 9:28. I seem to have a kink in a neuron. lol
I'm so glad you like it and happy it will be useful! If you think of the left hole as "A" and the right hole as "B" - then push the tie down into B and up through A, push it down again through B moving the existing ribbon aside and back up through A, again moving the existing ribbon aside, then trim the ends. You'll have a double ribbon in the middle of both sides of the card and the cut ends will flare out. I hope that helps a little. Thanks for watching.
