I’m done with academia and its work and ethics culture. I want to transition to Data Science. It is too late for me?
Research division ftw. Don't have to worry too much about production, that's the jack of all trades' problem. We also get to use the superior language that is R.
I'm doing my last year (master thesis) of neuroscience and being in the lab... has not been a fun experience. Solving problems in code, which I have experience with since age 13, is NOTHING compared to the hell I'm going through right now with Golgi staining brain tissue that is not fresh but fixated. Fml. I want to go into data science or something after this, seems like a bloody walk in the park compared to this, and you even get paid decent amount of money and don't have to overwork yourself or not get lunch for 6-7 hours straight because otherwise one second of inattention might cause 3 weeks of results to be lost. At least computers tell you if you have a mistake, what the mistake is even, and even before you run it lol. Imagine discovering after 3 weeks that your experiment went wrong but you don't know why or which variable to adjust anymore. R.I.P.
I'm currently self-studying to become a Programmer / Web developer...so I guess my one question would be Is there a DEMAND for Data Scientists?...I'm 50 yrs old this year...can I still attempt it?...and do I need "education"?..a Bachelor's or something?...
I am chemical engineer, I have shifted my career in data science already started learning data science I got one internship as business analyst, I want to get more technical printed job how to get entry level jobs
I am the exact same. I was mostly focused on chemical engineer since I was good at chemistry and math, but now I am wishing to switch, for money and because I know data science is a growing job. How you would say the switch was? Was it stressful to learn coding and the business part? Or did you already have prior knowledge?
Well, since both require a problem solving mindset and coding.... depends on what better scope means to you. Cybersecurity's national average (at least in the U.S.) is lower than for D.S. now, but not by much. Hell, you could probably even become a data scientist for a cybersecurity company if choosing's such a bother.

I can’t stop replaying beep beep’s cameo
He was born to be a star 🐈⬛
I’m a biologist with a masters degree in behavioral ecology (acoustics/animal communication) another master in neuroscience and I’m finishing my PhD in neuroscience (multimodal integration in honey bee brains) I’m proficient in statistics (linear non linear) I know SPSS R python.
Thank You for this video. You made a girl decide what she wants to pursue as a full time job
I'm currently self-studying to become a Programmer / Web developer...so I guess my one question would be
Is there a DEMAND for Data Scientists?...I'm 50 yrs old this year...can I still attempt it?...and do I need "education"?..a Bachelor's or something?...

I’m a licensed therapist and over 40 is there a path for older people wanting a career change?
I m confused between CYBERSECURITY & DATA SCIENCE
Somebody please help me to choose. Which field has better scope in future ?
Same boat
Well, since both require a problem solving mindset and coding.... depends on what better scope means to you. Cybersecurity's national average (at least in the U.S.) is lower than for D.S. now, but not by much. Hell, you could probably even become a data scientist for a cybersecurity company if choosing's such a bother.
well well well....im doing this now
0:42 is the best part change my mind 😂
Thanks for this, also help us to know loving expenses in California
Coding is awesome with ppl like you I like all of your videos...
Thank you 😊
What kinda person can be a data scientist? Really sorry for the weird que. Just im confused whether i should coose this or not cz i haven't been that a dedicated person when it comes to studies so far
Awesome!!
sound quality is very good
