I need those 7A dipped sticks, I tried them once at a friend's house and made up 3 new beats that I never knew how to do until then because of the feel of those sticks
The only pair of Zildjian sticks I have ever used were the Adrian Young signature series and they were a solid pair, felt nice and had reasonable durability.
I am the percussion cordinator for my local high school and Jr high. I love these 5b heavy birch sticks and for my students coming out of marching season it is a great way to transtion back to symphonic band
I'm not a stick breaker by any means but Ive desteoyed so many Zildjian and Vic Firth sticks but it seems I can find a 20 year old promark stick on its last legs and it will last me a year or more. I think that in general a lot of big name manufacturers rely too heavily on their name because the very best sticks I find are the $3.99 store brand sticks that just seem to hang around for a long time. Just my experience anyway.
I'm not really into Zildjian drumstics but this video is just perfect! Im definitely gonna try those birch drumsticks. Their dark finish looks just great
I LOVE my new 5B heavy birch sticks . Great for building your grip and your chops . If you are used to marching sticks and are looking to switch give these a try. Great sticks
I've been using the super 5a laminated Birch (the old Mike Mangini signature stick) for 5 years, and man, those stick for shure can take a beating. Consistency in weight, durable and really well balanced. Hands down best stick on the market.
I drum with nothing other than Zildjian sticks. They're so high quality. I generally use the dip models, since they are super grippy and don't fall out of my hands easily.
Zildjian is the no.1 of all. I use Dennis Chambers sticks and John Riley sticks. Those 2 sticks are amazing. My Dennis Chambers sticks has that small round ball tip gives me that nice cleaning ping bell sound of my ride cymbal (And my cymbals is also a Zildjian). But anyway, my John Riley sticks has that arrow head tip and gives me like a crystal clear sound of all of my cymbals. Those 2 sticks has that feel between of a 5A and 7A I love it. I also have John Otto sticks from (Limp Bitzkit) it has a feel of a 5A with a barrow tip and it gives me that aggressive ping bell sound of my ride cymbal. Idk that Zildjian still makes his sticks or not. The John Otto sticks is basically charcoal stain sticks.
All artists series drumstick hmmmm then what about Rob bourdon signature drum sticks artists series from zildjian. Rob bourbon is a drummer from linking park.
I hv the maple dip series and they are extremely light and the grip is awesome, if u don't maintain them properly the grip might rip of from a couple of places.
Ryan Dunn hey the thing is I hv the 7a dip sticks but if you handle them roughly or play drums alot with it the might rip from couple of places like the starting of the grip. but the grips are pretty good they don't slip off I think u shall buy it but handle it with care man
oh ok. i got 5a maple dip for christmas and they are awesome! i love them. i will make sure to be careful, but my grip has never been tight for as long as i can remember. thanks :)
hey dude not sure why they are breaking other than the intensity at which you are playing, or how hard you're hitting... my only advice would be to practice hitting softer but with still enough power, but i have no idea how experienced you are or how your technique goes, so that's all i've got :)
Harrison Myers Promark has a series called the Natural Series. They are basically sticks that have no finish whatsoever. They come in the standard models (5A, 5B, etc.)
zildjian has never felt right for me. something about the balancing and the taper on the sticks that i have tried. i'm going to stay with vic firth for now
Block hax that’s nice. It’s good to have different opinions. Me myself I like Zildjian more then Vic because they always have lasted longer. But my favorites are goodwood
Sorry zildjian but those drumsticks with the grips are crap! All you get from those are blisters! I mean they don’t fall out of your hands but what’s it worth?
cam BOYD yea ordered these with the idea that they would be the main pair i bought from then on because of their unique look and grip, but they gave me the worst hand blisters and I ended up just ripping the rubber off eventually lol
drummers are wizards and these are their magic wands
Super BBK THANK YOU FROM ALL DRUMMERS AND MYSELF
Super BBK Yes we are.
Well that is much better than my caveman analogy
Super BBK thank you for the compliment
WOW. I’M A MOTHERFUCKING WIZARD
Zildjian is stepping up their video production quality quite a bit with these latest videos. Nice job guys
I need those 7A dipped sticks, I tried them once at a friend's house and made up 3 new beats that I never knew how to do until then because of the feel of those sticks
Watching this, I realized I've bought vic, promark, vater, but never zildjian sticks. Definitely going to give them a try.
I'd say there definitely worth it. I really like the rock series!

I want to get a electric drum kit so bad and I want to get josh's sticks
@@mikefobfan101 fyi they are longer than normal and are between and 5a and 5b so they are like a super 5a but are slightly thicker
I'm not really into Zildjian drumstics but this video is just perfect! Im definitely gonna try those birch drumsticks. Their dark finish looks just great
I LOVE Zildjian sticks! I use the Dennis Chambers series, although wish I had my own model :)
David Curtis Drumming
David Curtis I like them too
I LOVE my new 5B heavy birch sticks . Great for building your grip and your chops . If you are used to marching sticks and are looking to switch give these a try. Great sticks
I just bought zildjian drumsticks and they feel good and have really good grip thank you zildjian for making such durable and nice drumsticks
Why dose this remind me of an apple phone ad

Beautiful shots
I bought the dip series one of the best sticks I've played with
Loving the super 5a and 5b sticks. Need a 2b birch stick now.
what a beautiful stunning video
I love Zildjian. I can’t afford any of their cymbals new but I can get them used cheap and they are amazing

Cool video!
Hey guys. I am a huge fan of zildjian. I just have one question. Are the Josh Dun signature sticks dipped? Thanks!
My favorite sticks are the 5a anti vibe hickory
Heavy jazz and Dennis Chambers nice sticks:)
did zildjian produced hickory series with metal tip? i can't make out what mine has. it's been in storage for 22 years
I hv the maple dip series and they are extremely light and the grip is awesome, if u don't maintain them properly the grip might rip of from a couple of places.
hey dude what do you mean by maintain them? what does that involve? looking to get some myself
Ryan Dunn hey the thing is I hv the 7a dip sticks but if you handle them roughly or play drums alot with it the might rip from couple of places like the starting of the grip. but the grips are pretty good they don't slip off I think u shall buy it but handle it with care man

Does Zildjian have marching sticks too?
Does this make anyone else excited for just buying new sticks?!
what weight the are dave grohl sticks are they lighter then 5b or heaver ?
Az The Drummer I think they are heavier because of his playing style
What are your guy's opinion on 7A purple DIP sticks?
Rob Corlito They are really good I use them quite a bit.
not only do i like thinner and longer sticks but i like the extra grip since my hands usually get sweaty a lot, in my opinion they're a dream
do they have josh dun?
I have the travis barker drumsticks
who else is watching this just because Jish? :3
Celina ZC me

I have a zildjian A7 maple dip and thats so light weight
they are now made just like vic firth !!
Luis Chavez its made by the factory
I love the zildjian 5a but I brake them to Easy any advice ?
hey dude not sure why they are breaking other than the intensity at which you are playing, or how hard you're hitting... my only advice would be to practice hitting softer but with still enough power, but i have no idea how experienced you are or how your technique goes, so that's all i've got :)
But I use a 5b now I don't brake them
ahaha ok if that works for you bro ;) what style do you play? (of music)
I play pop punk and rock The most but a lot of different stuff to
oh ok cool then 5a is cool :) i'm into progressive rock/ metal the most so 5a is awesome.
I have a dip series like if anyone else has a zildjian sticks
Bring back the Tony Williams stick. Please.
sireusly!!!! you didn't Add Josh Dun!!😲😲
josh dun is life seriously* and the video was probably out before they agreed on the josh sticks.
Or tre
Any chance of making a stick without a lacquer finish?
Like a matte finish?
Drinkcheapbleach no, like a stick that has no lacquering. See, I have a bit of trouble with sticks flying out of my hands when I play.
Harrison Myers Promark has a series called the Natural Series. They are basically sticks that have no finish whatsoever. They come in the standard models (5A, 5B, etc.)
OldSchoolAddict I don't like ProMark. They shatter too easily in my hands but I'm not even a heavy hitter.
Ok. Vater makes a series called the 'Nude' series which achieves what you're looking for
when they post the same drumstick video as last year :P (yer i remember)
The only difference is there's no mention of the Mike Mangini model since Mangini is now with Vater.
yer they probably just edited that out though because everything else is the same
zildjian has never felt right for me. something about the balancing and the taper on the sticks that i have tried. i'm going to stay with vic firth for now
Block hax that’s nice. It’s good to have different opinions. Me myself I like Zildjian more then Vic because they always have lasted longer. But my favorites are goodwood
I have Zildjian Tré Cool
YES Drumsticks TRE COOL VIVA GREEN DAY
Why re upload the video?
Because unlike the previous version, Mike Mangini's signature model is not mentioned. He's with Vater now.
+Harrison Myers ohhh...duh! Haha Didn't even think about that. Thanks! Was that the only change?
***** as far as I can tell, yes
joey jordison used metal ones
DEATH axb its light weight so he could play fast
I guess its better than vic firth
As much as I love their cymbals, their sticks just dont do it well at all for me. The break way too quickly, and for me, they dont even last two weeks
Why does this look like the Vic firth factory to me?
+Jason Paul 1423 Because Vic Firth makes Zildjian's sticks. VF is a sister company to Zildjian.
Srsly? Not add billy williams?
I thought vic firth made zildjian sticks
Where's tre cool
DAVE GROHL AND TAYLOR HAWKINS ARE THE BEST DRUMMERS AND JOHN BONHAM
1 tree makes you drum stick
98% of my drumsticks is zildjen
AHEAD Drumsticks are better

Stick to cymbals. I have a pair of zildjian sticks. They are so bad sounding. And there're kiss signature..
