'tis about a song about bullying, harassment, molestation, and suicide. All of which are quite popular in japan. Yotsuya-san is the bully and the molester.
Bullying, molestation, and harassment are also done commonly by friends and more commonly girls... Yes girl on girl molestation in Japan is actually more common than guy on girl molestation...
Being "strangled by lukewarm air" is also a double meaning in which she is hyperventilating which is a common symptom of a panic attack or it could be literal...
Picturing a bright spring morning sky to be cloudy and gloom is an obvious sign of depression and or a feeling of dread when seeing Yotsuya...
"Leave it to Yotsuya-san" might also mean that Yotsuya is very manipulative and could be acting friendly but in reality she is quite devious...
Strangely enough though: 四 = 4 and ッ谷 = Valleys: Together it is 四ッ谷 = Yotsuya. It could also be translated as "Nobody Fucking Knows"... That is the direct translation. 四ッ谷 = "Nobody fucking knows" or 4 Valleys...
四ッ谷 or Yotsuya is also a town in Shinjuku, Tokyo. It is most popular for its GRAVES... Yes a town in Tokyo named Yotsuya is a town of graves... IT'S REALLY DARK...
It is actually one of the most mysterious word in the Japanese language because of its Kanji...
So yah... imo it is a pretty dark song

"I stepped on a dirty sack" sakku = サック コンドーム, a finger cоndom Yotsuya-san uses to rаpe the main girl. You can see that Yotsuya-san's left forefinger is colored differently at 1:58.
“You touched the black thing” is about main girl’s black ribbon Yotsuya-san touches to get her undressed and then sеxually assault her. You can also see it at 2:04.
This is really a song about rаpe and betrayal, Yotsuya-san is the rаpist and they planned it together with main girl's best friend. Main girl has a bad feeling about turning the corner and her friend leaves her all alone, knowing her rаpist Yotsuya-san is waiting for her already. Main girl bumps into Yotsuya-san and knows what's gonna happen and that she was betrayed. "Give my regards to Yotsuya-san".
"Mook" is probably how main girl reffers to herself, blaming herself for falling in this trap. She commits suiсidе later as we see a cross that says "Mook's grаve".

Ooohohohoho this song is definitely intriguing. I agree with most of the other theories here, but I also believe there's something darker that we're forgetting. It appears to me that the girl narrating the story is Yotsuya-san, but Yotsuya-san is also a play on words for the town in Shinjuku famous for its graves, as stated previously (in another ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT :D comment).
After watching this video several times, I feel that the narrator (the girl with the clip) was sent out by her friend to run an errand, "Leave [the errand] to Yotsuya". However, I also feel as though it could be interpreted that the girl (that sent her) PURPOSEFULLY convinced/paid off/planted/etc the girl standing behind the street corner with the slightly curly hair and red shirt. Hence the ridiculous amount of arrows and such attempting to get her to go in that direction and the narrator's annoyance at 1:27 (and her being ditched at that point).
And it also appeared that the planted girl was RIGHT THERE when the narrator turned the corner, hence the surprised look on the narrator's face. I also think the line, "turned the corner" sung in the song also refers to a mental turning--going down an unexpected dark path or having a different mindset. Obviously, at this point, it looks evident that the girl raped her.
Whether or not she was also choked her during the assault is not very clear--she could also be choked by the memory of the attack--which she displays a lot of evidence of during the "I hate it--I CAN'T BREATHE" section, anyway.
I believe that, in addition, the mention of the dark house and the spring rain are sensory memories of the attack, which she probably blocked out--which would also explain the dark scribblings (the black and red/orange section) and not-drawn faces.
I, personally, do not believe the flowers represent her going to visit a dead loved one, rather, they explain her innocence and give the audience an idea of what kind of person she was before the incident occurred.
From here, I also believe, "Leave it to Yotsuya-san" is something her "friend" said to turn others against her--literally "Leave it to Yotsuya-san...to make up a story about getting raped". Which would explain the section where her friend is turned away and the narrator is on the ground, surrounded by the presence of the memory of the incident and the rapist girl is lurking behind her. It's also possible that the rapist is also a friend of there's and that's why no one really believes that Yotsuya-san is telling the truth about what happened.
Furthermore, on a completely different note, Yotsuya-san in this case can be personified as "Leave it to Yotsuya-san" in the same way the musical, The Scarlet Pimpernel, personifies the guillotine in the opening song, "Madame Guillotine"--namely that someone is telling the narrator to leave her dignity/childhood/innocence (which is in a line of the song) to Yotsuya-san, or the grave in this case.
Also I think it is worth re-mentioning the previously stated fact that the direct translation of 四ッ谷 is "Nobody fucking knows", or "Yotsuya"...thereby creating "Leave it to "Nobody Fucking Knows""
which could be the narrator asking who raped her and someone answering that she should leave the question with the answer of NOBODY KNOWS
("Have you found them?!?! WHO DID THIS TO ME?!?! I HATE IT [that you don't know]"
    "[JUST] LEAVE IT TO NOBODY FUCKING KNOWS, [OKAY?]");
OR it could be someone asking if shes telling the truth--"Nobody fucking knows" someone could answer ("[Lets] leave it to nobody fucking knows [that].")
or the narrator stating "Nobody fucking knows...how I feel" ETC
It could be taken MANY different ways.
Finally, I think it could be said that the final image of the rapist girl smiling and waving could be either the memory of the event OR Yotsuya, the narrator, running into her again on the street, thus triggering the feelings in this song and having her retell the story.
But, uh...yeah, that's all the scenarios I really could see having happened.
I hope all of this makes sense!
    Sorry--I really like analyzing. (/o.o)/

Alright so first, I also really love to analyze stuff too. And I really like what you've seen here. Two things I wanna say tho
1.) I'm a bit confused as to what hints to actual rape in this song, as all the language seems like it could be referring to any form of abuse to me. Not denying it's existence though. >.>
2.) I really like your bit about "Nobody Fucking Knows". I think it's intentionally ambiguous to elaborate on the confused and high tempo-ed nature of the speaker, who is presumably the girl with the hair clip. We don't fucking know what she's saying, she doesn't fucking know what she's saying, and it seems that Yotsuya-san is deriving some sadistic pleasure from this fact.

From what I read from the comments and from my own understanding, this is a story of a girl who was betrayed by her friend, and got raped by Yotsuya-san.
Basically, her friend lies to her that someone called Yotsuya-san's dog died and convinces her to go on an errand to the dog's grave with her, hence the flowers and bone. At the intersection, her friend ditches her, and "leaves the rest to her". As soon as the short haired girl turns the corner, she realises something is wrong as she sees Yotsuya-san standing there. The story about the dog is also exposed as an lie, when she steps on the dirty sack which supposedly held the dog's body, but is empty.
There is then a flashback, where the victim remembers that Yotsuya-san has once promised to "steal her dignity", which is the part that is sketchy and red and stuff.
Yotsuya-san then assaults her, and she despairs when she realised that her friend has set her up, when she has said "Give my regards to Yotsuya-san" before she ditched her.

If you are uncomfortable with raping, killing, being betrayed, etc. please don't read any further
I think that someone and her friend were going to visit the grave of Yotsuna's dog who had died.(The dog and a grave at the end. Also the girl was holding a bone that is supposedly for the dog)In regards to the line "the mook I'd loved had died", that is talking about the main girl from the point of view of her friend who had killed her. Talking about killing her earlier in the morning. As for calling her a mook, saying she was an idiot for falling so easily into her trap.
Later when it said 'I'll leave the rest to you okay?" her friend was ditching her, planning to kill her and sneak up on her later. When she turned the corner, she ran into Yotsuna. Yotsuna said "In the close future I'll come steal it I'll come steal your dignity" stating that she would basically rape the girl. The girl's friend came to help Yotsuna with raping or killing her friend.
"I'm being strangled by a bundle of lukewarm air" implies that she was being choked. Maybe by poisonous gases...somehow...
"In this cruel play, Leave it to Yotsuna-san okay?"She is saying that Yotsuna will take care of the cover up, killing her, etc.. If they didn't kill her, then they either forced her to be silent or something similar that would lead to them not being caught.
But if she said that this was "cruel play" she knew that this was wrong. So the question is why did she do this? Maybe it was a favor she had to repay or they were using things like fear to force her to help.
I think that the scribbles that are in a human-like shape is a person as well. This person helped with killing, raping,or what ever else they did.
At the end it seemed as if the girl was mentally scarred for life, covering her ears. Maybe what was in the bag was her worst fear. Using a phobia she could have and torturing her as well as raping, and or killing. if they mentally scarred her to the point of her forcing herself to forget that this ever happened. Or her being so traumatized that she would never want to remember those horrid events ever again.
But then again, I might have missed something or other.

    From what I understand:
The girl ( victim ) in this story, finds out her dog, mook, has died. The girl and her friend go to the dogs grave. The girl holding flowers, and a bone for her passed on dog.
At the intersection, her friend leaves her, and as soon as the girl turns the corner. She see's Yotsuya-san. Confused, she walks forward, and steps on a dirty, empty sack. Supposedly holding the dogs body.
The girl remembers Yotsuya-san promised to steal her dignity. Yotsuya-san then assaults/rapes the girl. Taking her dignity.
She remembers in disguist what her friend said before running away
... "Give my regards to Yotsuya-san".
    She was betrayed.

I am gonna take a crack at trying to figure thisout, so any way. . .Yotsuya is a girl that every one leaves their dirty work too. She can't do any thing about it because she is apush over, 'I had a bad feeling when i'd turn that corner' is when ever she has to go and work more for people because she would always be attacked when she least expected it. 'it hurts' is because she has to deal with the emotional and physical tasks on her shoulders from other peoples weight. 'I'm being strangled by a bundle of lukewarm air' is all of the stress she is dealing with that wrapped around her. 'In this cruel play I will leave the rest to you, okay?' shows the fact that others do not notice how Yotsuya is struggling and continue to push more burden on her. 'As we faced each other the cloudy dark sky seemed as if it were to cry' means that her world gets more and more gloomy with each new stress or burden, 'I can't escape from here any more' means that she is now stuck doing every ones work as some sort of push over, 'I stepped on a slightly dirty empty sack' means that her dignity is now tainted over and really abused and empty, gone by now.'in the close future, I'll come steal it, in the close future I will steal your dignity, you sneer, you touched that black thing didn't you?' means that one girl happened to have noticed her struggle but found it to her advantage to put her self to the top of her, she sneered at her, and the black thing is actually impending doom on Yatsuya which earned her this stressful life, 'it's cold, the spring rain is too heavy' are the words of too many demanding people, 'you laugh evilly' is the fact that Yatsuya believes that they are all aiming to hurt her now due to how the stress has blinded her from the pain and being strangled from the 'lukewarm air'/stress. 'In this unusual house the death agony of uncertainty resounds' means that in her house, Yatsuya got tired of it all, means she is still struggling and the question of how certain she can continue will go on. And it shows her holding flowers and a bone, that means that even though she seems to be gaining more knowledge from the extra piled on work she is gaining she is actually gaining more pain and more torture in the end.

I think it's interesting that the girl refers to th3 dog as "the mook I'd loved had died."
I see it as the "mook" shes referring to is her friend who set her up to be assaulted. Dogs are often referred to as "man's best friend", and rathee than the literal "my best friend died" she means the person she THOUGHT she knew "died" - by betraying her and setting her up to be assaulted, the main girl feels like she doesnt know the girl she used to call her friend anymore.
I hope this makes sense. I'm very tired.

This might dound ridiculous to some of you but I actually think that (for me, at least) this Song isn't about getting tricked by friends nor rape but instead about depression and how the girl slowly falls deeper into it.
In my opinion the whole "I hate it", "I'm being strangled by luke-warm air" parts resemble a panic or anxiety attack rather than recalling events that occurred.
Now as for the Girl I'm not sure, in my opinion it could either be a personifications of her inner demons ("I came to steal your dignity") and that she "turned around that corner" in a darker way of her thoughts taking a turn for the worst after being turned down by a friend or feeling rejected ("I'll leave the rest to you" and the face she makes afterwards kind of implicate for me that perhaps she felt left alone with a task)
And that she can't bring up the strength to help herself ("I can't escape this place") and that she blames herself for everything bad she might have felt or gone through (her dogs death, as an example) as I get the feeling the "you touched that black thing" might mean that she has succumbed to darker and more negative thoughts.
Once again this is just my opinion so it might not make sense to any of you but yeah-

Wrote lyrics for anyone that wants them but i don't any of this~
    The whirlwinds become stonger
So the sky is laughing a bit
Yes during the listless early morning
    The one id loved had
    DIED
    I hate it!
    I hate it!!
    I hate it!!!
    I can't breathe!
The spring breeze is too strong
    I had a bad feeling
    When i turned
    The corner
    It hurts!
    It hurts!!
    It hurts!!!
    Im being strangled!
By a bundle of lukewarm air
    In this cuel play
I'll leave the rest to you okay?
    As we faced each other
The cloudy dark gray sky seemed as if itd cry
I can't escape from here anymore
I stepped on a slightly dirty
    Empty sack
    In the close future
    I'll come steal it
    I'll come steal your dignity
    You sneer
    You touched!
    You touched!!
    You touched!!!
    That black thing!
    Didn't you?
    It's cold!
    It's cold!!
    It's cold!!!
    I have a bad feeling!
The spring rain is too strong
    You smile evilly
And the echo within my head
    It hurts!
    It hurts!!
    It hurts!!!
    Im being strangled!
By a bundle of lukewarm air
    In this cuel play
    Leave it to yotsoya-san okay?

Okay, I think I got the meaning of the song. Yotsuya, the girl, was murdered. The other girl told her to do something, then showed up and strangled her. She only passed out. When the other girl found out, she asked yotsuya to run the errand again. Then she strangled Yotsuya and then yotsuya actually died that time. That's why the ending shows a cross with flowers. Yotsuya was holding flowers.

So, her and a "friend" were supposed to go to someone's house for some sort of reason, probably just to deliver something to said person. So, when they're just around the corner, her "friend" says she has something to do, and takes off, leaving the rest to Yotsuya-san. She goes around the corner and towards her destination where she supposedly runs into the girl they were supposed to meet. She leads Yotsuya-san inside her house and then rapes her. It was basically a setup. After, she tries to tell people of the incident, but she's never heard. People think she's just making things up, or just flat out ignore her. She's always been a bit shy and doesn't talk much or have many friends, so they just treat her like she's trying to get attention.
Well, that's my interpretation of it, anyways.

Ok so I will give my input even though there are so many others. I do believe the main character/narrator is in fact yotsuya-san for one reason. at 0:37 the text reads "Leave it to Yotsuya-San" and a little later in the song when her friend leaves her she says "I'll leave it to you, okay?". That seems to be a direct reference to the aforementioned text. Now lets rewind a bit. In the opening scene yotsuya-san is carrying flowers and if you look closely she is also carrying a dog bone. "Yes, during the listless early morning the mook I'd loved had died" This all leads me to believe that she was in fact visiting the grave of her dead dog aka the "mook" she loved. Now comes the dilemma of whether her friend ditching her on her journey was a coincidence or a setup. There is a few key words that leads me to believe her "friend" set her up. At 1:25 the words "In this cruel play" means to me that the whole thing was premeditated. As Yotsuya-san turns the corner she is met by the gaze of a woman who then proceeds to sexually assault her. Evident by the evil grin she wears and when she presses her fingertip to yotsuya's chest saying that "in the near close future I'll come steal your dignity". Which is then followed by many scenes of her being tormented by this woman who molests her. In my opinion a very tragic and unsettling story.

+Michael Ortiz That's also what I think, plus the fact that Japanese adress to eachother with their first names instead of "you", hence "I leave it to Yotsuya-san" which would mean the same as "I leave it to you"

    I think I figured it out......kind of _ _lll
Anyway, what the song means is that this girl had somehow betrayed her friend and let her die, because at the start the lyrics say, "during the listless(dull) early morning the mook (a stupid or incompetent person) died." So this girl seems to not really care and eventually she realizes that her friend wants revenge. At 1:26 the friend says "I'll leave the rest to you, okay." And the girl(main character, how bout' I just call her Kyoko....yeah that's her name now) seems confused but shrugs it off and sighs. In reality Kyoko's friend wasn't talking to her but is talking to Oiwa from the Yotsuya Kaidan legend.
After the friend disappears, Kyoto suddenly has a bad feeling that something is going to happen to her and eventually meets a sadistic woman who says she comes to "take her dignity in the near future." Later, Kyoto is shown being strangled in some type of thread that is colored in the same way that Yotsuya-san is.
2:20 is when things start clearing up and Kyoko can hear her friend who is abandoning her and leaving Yotsuya-san to drive her crazy until her insanity leads her to death. To me, the dog is only there o emphasize the quick passing of death along with Kyoko's friend.
That was my interpretaion so have fun criticizing me. :D

Okay, here's my theory! So the first time we see the main girl (girl with short hair), she's holding a bunch of flowers with a bone. I assume that they are for a grave, and the bone is more of a symbol. My theory is that sometime in the Spring, her and the other girl (girl with long hair that parts ways with her) may have killed the other girl with long hair, and now her ghost is trying to get revenge. They may have been friends or something, but i assume the flowers are for her grave, and the bone means that the short haired girl had a part in the death. Now the song keeps talking about the wind strangling the main girl, and that she hears voices in her head. I'm thinking guilt/ haunting. Then in the second crazy verse, the song says i'm coming for you, and then the main girl feels cold. I think that the ghost got her. There's a scene where a black scribble/shadow is surrounding the main girl, and is trying to grasp the other long hair girl that was leaving. The story probably continues where the other girl dies too. Back at the beginning the other girl that leaves tells the short haired girl that she leaves this cruel play up to her, and that might reference their faked sadness that the one girl has died since they were the ones to kill her. And finally, when it talks about the two girls standing face to face and the sky crying, i think that means that when the short haired girl saw the dead girl she was in so much shock that her heart skipped a beat and her senses flipped. Okay, if you read this far thanks for your time, and if you would please leave any counter arguments or comments. Thanks. :D

What if.....those two girls were in a relationship, but then the girl with long hair started to become toxic to the other one and this song is just a metaphor for abusive relationship. The girl with short hair hates how much her loved one has changed ("I hate it"), and the wrong turn symbolizes the moment it all went wrong. The "death" of the girl could just be the moment she realises the person she fell in love with is not the same person anymore.

I think this song is about trusting problems. Serious trusting problems to the point of paranoia and ironically calling out to another person to help her when herself pushes away people. The character the music is about constantly speaks about how everything in the world annoys her, and how every contact with people will certainly do her harm in any ways possible. And yet she still asks for help from Yotsuya-san when she doesn't feel like putting up with the shit the world throws at her every second.
I think it should be something like this.

  • @NekokiNekoco

I'm not certain in my interpretation of the song, but I saw it as a girl whom enjoyed watching the short haired girl being tormented, having others help her out in the short hair girl's suffering.
Or likely diverging even further from the possible true plot of the song; the girl has a demented view on her wishes of becoming friends with the short haired girl; telling others to torment her then having the short haired come to her for comfort. As it was seen, the short hair girl's friend was leaving as whom I assume as 'Yotsuya-san" is seen infront of the girl as the friend leaves. Though it could've been showing the abandonment, I saw it as the friend had finished her plotted as told by Yotsuya and left, having Yotsuya "take care of the rest."

    My interpretation:
It's late spring in the city, yet the weather is dismal. One house stands out as being quite peculiar. Two girls live in this city: a short-haired girl named Yotsuya and a long-haired girl whose name we don't know. Yotsuya is in love with the long-haired girl, who dies. Yotsuya is in complete shock of what happened. There seem to be two long-haired girls; one has red accessories, the other doesn't. The one who doesn't is Yotsuya's lover. Before she died, while they're (Yotsuya and her crush) walking around town, Yotsuya's crush leaves and tells Yotsuya to finish whatever task was at hand. Yotsuya is annoyed by this, but accepts. Yotsuya continues walking and meets up with the other long-haired girl. Yotsuya feels uncomfortable around this girl, but can't bring herself to walk away from her. This girl harasses Yotsuya, who imagines the girl as a demon/burst of air, possibly because she looks too much like the one she loves and so she wants to imagine her appearance differently. Yotsuya thinks back to when her friend left, the last time she saw her before her death. The way she died is up to interpretation. The reason Yotsuya couldn't save her friend was because the other girl was molesting her, and Yotsuya mourns this fact.

Here's my theory, the "mook" mentioned at the beginning was the person the main girl always relied on, after he/she died the main girl becomes depressed and paranoid to the point she believes that she will walk around a corner and be raped, however she starts to develop an imaginary placeholder for the person she lost, someone to rely on named yotsuya-san in the second half of the song she starts to remember the person she lost, but leaves it to yotsuya-san again i think yotsuya-san was simply a coping mechanism to a girl that just lost a parent or significant other that she relied heavily on and all of the content was a representation of the main girls mental state and how she felt

I think it's that the girls friend or whatever she was to the main girl, had died in a way that connected to the main girl. So she came back as "a warm summer breeze" that strangles her to death. That's my interpretation :/

i think Yotsuya(short haired girl) had a friend or some one close to them die(which is why it showed that memorial thing at 2:31 and why she was carrying the flowers around so much of the video) and she blamed herself and this caused her to think that the person was mad at them and was now haunting her so she had to make up for it which is why it kept saying "leave it to Yotsuya" (she felt like she was being ordered to do things to fix it. and i think the girl walking away at 2:20 was the fake

ah, as the whirlwinds grow out into the breeze
ah, as the deep blue sky is now cruelly mocking me
there, in the dull and listless half morning light
    yes, the one i'd liked
after we met, they had soon died*
    "don't like, don't like, don't like
the way that i can't cry
can't breathe in the strong spring breeze this night
i had a feeling that it would be bad
    when i turned around
    the pain, the pain, again
    and i can't take a breath
the air takes a chokehold of my neck
    in this cruel play
i'll leave it all to you, for another day~"
ah, as we stood side by side, now face to face
i saw the sky so dark and cloudy, oh what a waste
now, i wish i could leave here without a trace
i tried to run away, stepping on sacks as i cried out
    "someday, keep this in mind
i'll steal it when i like
i'll steal it, your dignity, your mind
    you sneer, i fear
    the blackness we feel here
    you've touched it again
it's cold, it's cold, say why
    these bad feelings of mine
can't breathe in the strong spring breeze this night
    that evil smile
    it echoes in my mind
    in this pale light
    the pain, the pain, again
    and i can't take a breath
the air takes a chokehold of my neck
    in this cruel play
i'll leave it all to you, for another day~"

I think this song is about depression. Once it get's you you're tangled in it, you can't get out and breathe without feeling the cold pain climbing into your heart. No matter how hard you try, you won't be able to escape. And after a while you give up and just stay inside, leaving your life to someone else.

After listening to this song several times and reading a few theories, I thought I'd pitch in my own. It's a bit different, and maybe controversial? But it makes some sense to me.
The narrator mentions death a few times (at least once in the beginning), and there's imagery of the gravemarker on the street. So, going off of the common rape theory, I have an idea.
I think that the girl with the curly hair was the narrators friend. Best friend, even. Shes always portrayed with closed eyes. This, combined with the imagery of death, leads me to believe that the best friend is dead. It's unclear how, but perhaps suicide? Getting to the bottom line, I think the storyline is something like this:
The narrator would walk this street every day with her friend. After her passing, the narrator had no choice but to walk alone. I think that the image of the dog is actually referring to the rapist she encountered. I think this because theres no reference to the dog in the actual lyrics (not in the english translation, anyway). This song is more about PTSD caused by the trauma than the rape itself. "Suffocated by lukewarm air" sounds to me like a panic or anxiety attack (which can be induced by PTSD). The parts where she sings about "im going to take your dignity," are red and blurry, as if a blocked out memory.
This is just a rough idea. Thoughts?

Im meaning this as shes in part blaming her friend for her rape, because had she been around still, it may not have happened. This explains the images of the girl holding her and stuff like that- shes superimposed her friend onto the actual perpetrator in memory.

Also, at 3:06 theres a shot of the main character on the ground, with the curly haired girl behind her and another girl walking away. Theres a black thread or smoke surrounding the main character and the girl walking away, but not the curly haired girl. Perhaps this implies that that the girl walking away is the real perpetrator?

    My interpretation.
The two girls were childhood friends. However, the friend betrayed her and died later on. The other girl believed it was partially her fault that she died. She believed that the dead girl was haunting her for revenge and trying to kill her.

I seen a comment about this:
Apparently Yotsuya-San is suppose to be from a famous story in Japan about a woman who was poisoned to death by her boyfriend and childhood friend, her ghost comes back to get revenge. so here is what I think, even though it's probably wrong:
The girl in this song was tricked, betrayed by her "friend", she was violated by the woman because in Japan female on female assault is apparently more common (not sure if that's true, I just read that), but when it says "Leave it to Yotsuya-San/Give My Regards to Yotsuya-San" means she's going to get her revenge and her friend is going to suffer for what she has done.
This is just what I think, probably wrong, but hey, it's a first attempt at a theory.

    Meaning IMO:
Little girl at start likes a person and suppresses her feelings. Suppressor reason fades away as that specific person dies. As the bone in the bouquet shows, it means she has a little spike of abnormality to say the least. She casually goes through the stages of insanity and reaches to voices stuck in her head never stopping. Again, since the person she loved died, she begins to hear more voices. Obviously this mental trauma caused her to be even more unstable than she was to begin with. The 2 girls are ACTUALLY 1, One side being unstable as a mess, the other appearing when she is a mess. 2 faces of 1 coin so to speak. This song uses a lot of comparing human emotions to external forces, so find meaning in there anyone who wants to really decode it.

I think it's about two friends who are being bullied by another girl, one more then the other. When one of them finally can't take it anymore, she commits suicide, leaving the other girl to be relentlessly tormented.

My perception of this is that it's about abuse and/or rape. While it may or may not be romantic, it would make more sense if the two girls were dating. "I'm going to steal your dignity" can easily be perceived as what the girl believes the other girl (Yotsuya-san) is doing. In an abusive relationship, one often feels trapped, and many abusers will attempt to justify their abuse as doing what's best for them "Leave it to Yotsuya-san, ok?"
I feel her friend (the long-haired one, without the orange undershirt) is trying to help her cope or exit the relationship, but due to circumstances or unfaithfulness, is unable to. She might not understand the full circumstances, or even that the relationship is abusive, simply that her friend is unhappy. She might believe that it's something that can be solved through negotiation or discussion, and suggests that the cooperate.
