His kid being so angry and yelling at him in such a little kid way is absolutely heartbreaking. That child is feeling such intense emotions but at such a young age that the most they can say is "you big fat jerk". Those poor babies. I hope they got and are still receiving some kind of therapy and are doing their best in spite of their father.

I teared up listening to that child. You can tell how full of rage they are, probably experiencing emotions they never knew existed, and like you said all they know how to express it as is calling him a “big fat jerk.” How could hearing his own child express such hatred towards him not affect him? How could he not even shed a single tear? That man has no soul; he’s pure evil. I wish they’d chain him up and let his children beat on him with their tiny fists full of fury.

Clay has got to be a sociopath or at least a Cluster B of some sort. It’s so important to know the red flags of these types before getting into a relationship with them. They will fck up your life in every fathomable dimension. I had to move across the country and disappear when mine told me how and why he was gonna kill me. It wasn’t something he was old enough to articulate- a child at that age simply does not have the words yet. He tried his very, very, best - and he got his point across. It appears his father was unmoved, not surprisingly. It takes a cold hearted man to kill the mother of his children. By killing her, he is also hurting those children so deeply. And making them completely orphaned once he’s imprisoned. Obviously, he did not care.
I hope all her children are doing well with her sister, their Auntie.

The fact that he calls his ex-father a "big fat jerk" repeatedly just indicates the limits of his childhood brain in not yet having a vocabulary adequate to express the intensity and severity of his anger and emotional pain. Children should never have to suffer through something so horrific that they'd need a spicy grown-up vocabulary to express their feelings. These kids lost the only loving, caring parent they had to turn to for comfort and a safe haven. She was their rock, and their father chose to take her away from them. And they can't turn to her for comfort now that they need it more than ever. "Big, fat jerk" doesn't even begin to cover what they must feel! 💔

I've seen way too many of these cases where the kids are so desperate to at least have one parent that they forgive the murdering one, or even go along with their claim that they didn't do it, despite overwhelming evidence. Or maybe they secretly know they did it, but they're too scared of them to say so at that point. That's what I call tragic. She knew this was the end, he's finally going to do it & she told him to think of the kids" ect. Perhaps that I've watched almost all of them over the past several years, and know what to expect - a very nicely explained situation and criminals, not pulling punches when it comes to "the bad guys" and being respectful to all of the victims - who in some cases were not perfect people either, and most had made mistakes, but certainly didn't deserve the crime.

Mike always knows how to break the tension too :) In his other videos, the "life insurance music dance" is both comedic relief and also emphasizes the absurdity of the murderer's rationale for such heinous acts. It's also a call back to other such cases and helps the viewer link these types of killers together. Just wanted to say that you're heavily appreciated, Mike. Especially because you are able to maintain your humanity and humour after dealing with so many dark, distressing stories. Please feel free to take some time off, you put in a ton of effort and none of us want you to burn out 💙
