A great documentary about a great man. Sadly to say, a man like Palme is not to be seen in Swedish politics now. This year - election year - every party is luring the voter to their specific party - disregarding their original ideology on the way. The right is moving to the left, and vice versa. It's deeply troubling, but a sign of the times I guess. Regardless, I vote for the party that follows Olof's view the best, because that is a i view that should be strived for.

Takes an Anglo to make a documentary about someone without learning how to pronounce their name lol. How hard can it be? It's so phonetic. Olof Palme. Not "Olaf Palm". It's a Germanic language, why would the e be silent?
The "Anglo" in this case is actor Paul Newman who was Jewish - who went to school with Palme at Kenyon College. A more interesting debate would be if you had thoughts or opinions about Palme that are relevant to Sweden or the world that go beyond how his name is pronounced by some "Anglo." Maybe that is too much to ask of the internet these days where lame attempts to undermine someone because of what you think their "race" or "culture" is, is easier and therefore much more common. Takes an Anglo to make a documentary about someone without learning how to pronounce their name lol. How hard can it be? It's so phonetic. Olof Palme. Not "Olaf Palm". It's a Germanic language, why would the e be silent?
The "Anglo" in this case is actor Paul Newman who was Jewish - who went to school with Palme at Kenyon College. A more interesting debate would be if you had thoughts or opinions about Palme that are relevant to Sweden or the world that go beyond how his name is pronounced by some "Anglo." Maybe that is too much to ask of the internet these days where lame attempts to undermine someone because of what you think their "race" or "culture" is, is easier and therefore much more common. It's just not a very high level of thinking.
