This ost is just one small example of why I think FE Awakening has one of the best scores out of all the other games. Its perhaps not as high-octane compared to eg. 3H per se, but it is so much more technically adventurous. Who tf decides to incorporate a 6/8 bossa nova-esque dissonant beat with a harpsichord and organ? And the textures of the unison strings once it changes to 7/8? Ugh I’m such a huge sucker for this

its represents fanatism and chaos in their purest forms. And the unconventional musical choices really reflect that.
