    When you are talking about InDesign shortcuts, I found two that trigger commands that are not in a File menu - Close All and Save All.

      Right. Those are considered product-level, spanning all open docs. -EG

    That thing of text out of a text frame is not about the table. It is about the anchored objects. Anchored objects can go out of text frames. The table is anchored by design, isn't it? In this case, instead of one-cell table, you can use an anchored text frame.
