      We went to Butrint last week. It was amazing! Definitely worth the 1000 lek price tag. We'll make a video about it soon!

    If you want to take the coastal route going back to Tirana, I think you might have to break it up into two. Ask for tickets to Vlora so you can take the bus that goes north on the coastal route. I would advise you stay a couple of nights in Vlora it is totally worth it. And then from Vlora you take the bus to Tirana, which is around two hours.

      Thank you so much for this advice! We really appreciate it. Vlora looks amazing :)

      @@Twocantravel even for us that are from there, because we been out of the country for long time, are courious to see the nature. when there in the 80s and 90s none bothered to see it so, it’s good tourists show so, even us albanians can watch. the road from saranda to vlora is more spectacular.

    Hello, I just found your channel. Starting with your Albanian videos. Good info - thanks! I’m curious about the acceptance of credit cards in Albania (and elsewhere), or if it is mainly cash 💰.

    • @Twocantravel
      @Twocantravel  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks so much for watching! In Saranda some restaurants and grocery stores accept credit cards, but not all. More places accept cards in Tirana. We haven't traveled anywhere else in the country yet, but I think having cash on hand is a good idea.

    Well done, fun video.
    Questions:
    * Would the bus service accept payment in Euros as well as LEK?
    * Do you have any idea if it's feasible during the summer high season to buy the bus ticket the day of travel as you did or should it be bought ahead of time?
    Thanks.

    • @Twocantravel
      @Twocantravel  Рік тому

      Thank you!
      Great questions! We haven't tried to pay for buses in Albania in Euros, but we have paid for taxis in Tirana in Euros. It's probably better to pay for the buses in Lek if you can.
      The summer is much busier than winter so if you can buy your ticket ahead of time that is probably a good idea. Hope you have a great trip!

    Did you not know that albania is the weirdest country in balkans

    • @Twocantravel
      @Twocantravel  2 роки тому +2

      We wouldn't say weird, but it's definitely got a unique history compared to other countries in the region!
