Based on how insanely good CSN sounds, I absolutely cannot wait for Deja Vu. That’s gonna be a crazy good one. Even just the packaging with the gold foil but in a Stoughton Jacket this time will be vinyl nerd heaven 🤯
Same here. This series is becoming more legendary with each release. Even though I own a NM original US pressing and 2021 remaster of Deja Vu, I'm tempted to go for the upcoming 2LP. I also pre-ordered the SACD, which is something to look forward too. I'm glad several CSNY (related) albums are getting the 45rpm and SACD treatment, but also hope Chad and his wonderful team will go even further by releasing the following albums: Stephen Stills and Manassas (1972), Graham Nash - Songs for Beginners (1971), Stephen Stills -self titled (1970) and David Crosby/Graham Nash (1972). Those are classics as well and it's a dream if they will be available on 45rpm and/or SACD. And of course we are looking forward to the upcoming Foreigner releases. Anyway, as I always say: in Chad we trust. This series is a work of art, done with love for music and for those who search for the best quality. Can't wait to receive my CSN couch album soon. ~Marjet
Totally agree with Nadine, if you want the definitive version, with definitive packaging/pressing quality… then you want Analogue Productions, and yup 45rpm.
I love that they do the appropriate finish for each record ie textured/embossed/matte finish jackets are a nice touch. They go all out ❤
An OG Matchbox 20 is more expensive than Hootie on Discogs. I absolutely cannot wait to hear Hootie and Matchbox 20, and totally agree, it’s about time we get more modern AAA recordings. Most of us have never even heard these albums on vinyl, let alone AAA, and by Analogue Productions. Yes extremely successful 90’s rock, but it’s great to get records that frankly I didn’t even know were recorded analog.
Hands down…my favorite batch!! I have heard Matchbox 20 so many times and never heard it this good, it’s like I rediscovered the entire album. Just lovely, but Time made me cry.
Not the music I listen to. No hyperbole in discussing the music, the feeling it gives you. Chapeau.

CrosbyStillNash is amazing like ALWAYS when AP does it, nobody in the entire world does it better at the moment IMO.
Happy that I bought Wish you where here as SACD, the silent parts are so critical and vinyl really has to be perfect then. SACD sounds amazing
I love the CSN Atlantic 45 from AP - I have a clean OG, but having a 45 RPM version on great vinyl is incredible.
And by the way I stand when I listen anyways - I can’t believe whine about having to flip such a great sounding piece of art

Thank all three of you for your opinions and insight and also for taking the time to make this video. I would have thought that records recorded in the 90’s would have been digitally recorded. Is that not the case?
There's distortion on ALL copies of CS&N. It's on the tape. If it's not there, it's been REMOVED somehow thru processing EQ or filtering.
I have an original Matchbox 20 record, and I think it sounds great. I also love the fact that the music is on two sides, not four.
Although I do feel MOFI did a great job with the One Step of CSN, the price difference is the issue. For the price this is the one to get.

The Hootie & The Blowfish original is not that great. The analog production is much much better.
