A capybara escaped from a zoo in Toronto a few years ago and we all got obscessed with capybaras in Canada. I found a site Animals sitting on capybaras. They are just so chill.
Oh I am so grateful Tomoe River Paper is available again and it’s very similar to the original!! Also excited about the Iroful paper because I always prefer heavier gsm paper, so I will have to try this
The "ugly cute" descriptive reminds me of the French expression, "jolie laide." Another stellar video from Daisy & Ashley! 🤩

Sound is so much better better now! Also, capybaras are so round & cute... there should be, at least, capybara-themed stickers. 😊 I love the stickers! Particularly the landscape ones, they're so soft and pretty. Lovely story about Aidan, thanks for sharing it! Have a great day! ✨🌷
LOL I have become obsessed with capybaras reels on Instagram - hope you can track down and start carrying stationery with capybaras on it (esp stickers!)🤞🏻😂
I wish i was in NY or back in the states so I could order from you all. The EU strengthened the customs import laws to make it so expensive to get stuff here. I subscribed today. I will probably not make it again to NY in my lifetime, due to socio-economic status, so I will tell you my fountain pen story. I was in 9th grade at high school, and I signed up for pottery for my art credit. Unfortunately my eczema broke out really bad, so I had to go to what was available. So, it was calligraphy, for me, because that was what was available, for the first nine weeks of the semester. Then it was basketweaving. Not something I would ever chose. I fell for calligraphy, because it improved my hand writing so much. It became legible and my older sister stopped teasing me. Back then the inexpensive cartridge pens we had to use would leak atrociously, so my hands were always covered in black ink in later classes, since I could not wash constantly or as long with harsh soaps in the dispensers. I have recently got back into it because of my Hobonichi planners. I love the preppy pens, they are economical, write lovely, and are easier to use. I do have Lamy over here in the EU, and TWSBI pens. I think you see my price point. I am a transplanted American over here. Groundhogs day is February 2nd, he saw his shadow and it is 6 more weeks of winter. As a scientist, I think the tradition is fun, but I do not trust a ground hog to give me an accurate description of the weather for the next 6 weeks. So, your early morning pristine blanket of snow was after groundhogs day.
I’m happy to give up a teensy bit of shading and sheening for the sake of faster dry times. Coming from Leuchtturm1917 and Clairefontaine paper, a little less smoothness doesn’t bother me. Still planning to use a Hobonichi Cousin with the new paper next year, I think it’s a good thing they changed.
Good question! We're not sure about this yet but for now, they have not announced any changes in paper so they probably have a little stockpile of the old TRP
Where I live the groundhog (named Fred) was found to be deceased. A random child was pulled up on stage to make a prediction because the child was wearing a groundhog hat. The child solemnly announced that there would be more winter. As a parent, I think that they should hold child-groundhog stand in contests every year now, and one child could win the right to do the prediction from now on.
It looks more like two lovely school kids telling us how their day was in the school 😂❤
The capybara spa live streams on TikTok are everything!
That's such a heart-warming story about Aiden! So glad he found fountain pens to help him write...something most of us take for granted.
Hahah glad you came around on fountain pens and gave them a second chance :)

There were capybaras on the Kamio Street Map Zoo stickers! I got it for the red pandas but was pleasantly surprised to see capys on there too!

Me, I am 100% on Capybarratok and it's been a great place to be

Groundhog day was Feb 2nd.
Since Tomoe River is manufactured by another company, will the traveler's notebook still offer the Tomoe refills?

Nanaimo Bars rock!!!

Is it possible to print on these tomoe river sheets using an inkjet printer
Yes, you can definitely take a sheet of Tomoe River paper and run it through a printer!
Echo is better, well done
