When I hit the "bubble" button, to inflate the spa, nothing happens. Light is on, but no sound of a motor. I pushed the reset button on the side of the unit, but nothing is happening. Any ideas?
Great information and much appreciated sir!!! I did find that you do not have to take the hoses off, you could actually use your hose sprayer inside the spa and blow water through the pump through the filter port after removing filter. I was able to blow slimey debris out of mine the downside is it will go back into your spa nothing my vacuum wouldn't clean up and it isn't much debris.
I replaced my filter and that didn't work so I cleaned out the entire pump. Took it apart from the hot tub .. flushed it and I didn't see much sludge or debris come out. I refilled the hot tub and the e2 message comes on. As soon as I power on the pump. It does not begin to circulate when you turn on the heater button. It threw the e2 before I did anything at all. I've cleaned it out several times. I don't know what else the problem could be
Cleaning the filter doesn't work all the time. Even a new filter is not a guarantee. I've found that upon startup, an air bubble (in the pump, I believe) will throw an E-02 code. Taking both the filter and the chlorine/bromine tablet holder off and turning it back on for about 10 seconds pushes that air bubble right out. Then, just put the filter and tablet holder back on. Works every time for me.
I did that and it ran without giving the E2 error, but when I put them back on it happened right away again. I haven't tried a new filter yet but it's there any other reason for an E2??
@@drok3333 the filter holder itself can hold air bubbles as well. before attaching the filter holder again try tilting it all different directions while in the water to release trapped air. the best solution I've done is changing the filter underwater without bringing anything to surface... no chance for air pockets! or else you'll fight that e2 error every time you try to change it

I tried all of the simple fixes such as new filters (and no filter at all), cleaning filter screen at wall of SPA, heavy flushing of the disconnected pump with water hose (both directions). The results were always the same, that the pump would then run continuously for 2 to 4 hours and then stop with the E02 error again. I saw that replacing the pump impeller did not always work for everyone who tried that step so I did not go to that extreme. I then contacted the Bestway Supplier and filed a warranty claim (my E02 failed pump was a Recall replacement version that had been in use for only 4 months since replacement of the original). After explaining my steps they asked that I file a Warranty Claim with photos of several items. In a few days I got confirmation that the pump will be replaced (for the 2nd time). Hopefully this will fix the problem but it is obvious that with so many reports of the E02 failure on-line, there is a fundamental flaw in the basic flow system design or else in the flow sensors themselves. I replace filters monthly and I am sure that my system never had any flow restrictions.
I was given the tub second hand and almost sold it , but, I decided to give it a chance and do a lil research. I got the E02 error code a few times and your video helped immensely

The water wasn't going into the filter area because the flaps got stuck even after filter was cleaned. So I washed everything and changed the filter just for the hack if it cause we had 3 more. Question** our new spa seems to pull water into the heater in a way that fills up the tube, but the outlet tube pushing water back into the spa is only about half full. Is this an issue?
Clean INSIDE the tube that the filter goes over, with a stick or something- not your pinky, like i did (although it worked, i don't want anyone to get hurt). Anyway, worked like a charm, and fixed the water flow error message

So in the past changing the filter hs worked.... I did that and pushed water through with my hose and still getting the error 2 code.... what should I do next????
I had the E02 error on a brand new spa that had been running just 3 days. I initially thought it was a low water issue. Nope. Then I cleaned the filter - it was a little dirty, nothing like yours but it still gave an error. I verified it would start without the filter attached so I knew it was the filter. What I found was the rubber one way flaps inside the filter seemed slimy. So I hosed them off until they were squeaky clean and verified at sucking on the intake of the filter would open those flap values and let air through. After that I ran the pump without the filter and then slow screwed the filter on. This time it worked and water flows fine again. Not 100% sure if cleaning the flaps worked - I see someone below mentioned an air bubble in the system could be the cause - but I think it didn't hurt.
@Family DIY thank you for the fix! It was quick and easy. And yes, the filter was pretty dirty after only a week up and running. Now, to work on maintaining temperature... Thanks!
Thanks for the tip about using the hose to flush out the heater pump, my filters when I have the E02 code are cleaner coming out than yours going in, so it maybe not the filter at fault. Though to update this didn't work either, had same fault again today, getting fed up with this same fault every 24 hrs.
Another commenter says it could be an air bubble (I have the same issue with a clean filter like you): Cleaning the filter doesn't work all the time. Even a new filter is not a guarantee. I've found that upon startup, an air bubble (in the pump, I believe) will throw an E-02 code. This didn’t work for me. It works fine when I run just the bubble but As soon as I hit the filter or heater button I get the e02’code again. Any other ideas?
does anyone know the size of the in/out water fittings from the pump? I want to build a descaler for the pump to go to a bucket and want to connect the pump to the bucket of course.
Just bought a GoPlus inflatable hot tub it was working for almost a week then it stopped and started Beeping & flash “HA” on the Screen I contacted them and they emailed me troubleshooting directions & I looked everything over and everything seems fine but the pump keeps beeping and flashing “HA” just don’t know what to do…. 🤦♂️
Help! I've put the drain stoppers on both tubes to disconnect the pump. But the C pipe is 100% pouring water out, as though there is no cap on the inside. Can someone tell me what the problem is and how to fix this?
I am 28 days out of warranty. My bubbler does no work even after unplugging and resetting. My side walls have started to collapse. I called Bestway and after a 45 minute hold i was told to stick a hose in the bubbler to loosen any blockage. I cannot find where to stick the hose in for the bubbler. Help! I have emptied the tub. Thanks for your help
The bubbler hole is the largest port on the side of the spa. You side walls are collapsing because you need to refill your spa with air, if the bumps air jet is not working, if you have a shop vac or other item that blows air, left blower, press it up again in refill area, it should work.
Thanks for helping. I emptied the wayer out, disconnected pump from ac outlet and disconnected all pump hoses. I will refill air to blow up walls tomorrow and see if i can dislodge any debris from the bubbler. Thanks again!
Every time we get this code, I change the filter and it works no problem. This time I have changed the filter, I have disconnected the pump and I have flushed through all of the hoses and still get the code. When I press the jets it works fine but as soon as I press the heat or the filter button the code shows up again. Any tips? Thanks in advance.
I have an E03 error code. From what I understand its a "temperature thing" ( it's too cold). It went off without me knowing, maybe a blown fuse? I hadn't used it in a week or so. How do I disconnect the tub from the motor without it draining the tub? Thanks!
Just add the plastic covers on the water ports, no water will come out. If you lost them, just put some plastic wrap over and the water pressure will hold them in place
Our problem is we start the spa everything’s working the bubbles the heat etc. and then it turns off within 30 seconds to a minute do you know anything or any suggestions anything would help
what happens if the filter doesnt even turn on at all then the E02 error comes on? Like it doesnt even attempt to start up? Is this more an electrical issue>?
I have found the inflatable cover that come with the SPA does not do a very good job of keeping dirt and other small debris out the hot tube. I bought a durable weather proof tarp. to cover the inflatable cover. The inflatable cover is still needed to help trap the heat because the tarp is just to keep out derbre. A $50 - $100 weather proof tarp will keep the hot tub much cleaner and reduce pump issues.
Thank you so much for this great video! Unrelated to the filter, I noticed that you had this hooked up to an extension cord. We did the same thing as the GFCI box won't fit in our recessed outlet fitting. Before I have anything rewired, have you had any issues with the extension cord? Do you recommend any special type? Thanks so much!
Sorry, I have no recommendations other than I am using a very long one I got from homedepot that I use for Christmas lights in December when my spa is off.
I was going to drain mine and return it to Costco for a new one. My last pump got too much full sun and gave out. I cleaned the filter and several hrs later got the code again. I will try getting out the bubbles. I use a floating chlorine dispenser
I just hooked my spa after having it down for 3 months. I filled it up and set the controls and left it to heat overnight. Came out the next morning and half of the water was gone but it was not wet around the spa. It was almost like it evaporated with the top secured, happened twice. Any advice?
@@patriciagallacher2905 It is kind of working if I refill about a foot every 3 days. I am going to have to take it apart. It is leaking near the pump but does not appear to be putting water back into the unit. THanks.
We haven’t even set ours up yet, not blown up, but plugged it in to make sure the power wouldn’t trip a breaker. After we plug in, the heat and water button glow and then it throws this error. Any suggestions?
Mine just stopped working. No error message at all: it just turned off and is showing the temp and nothing else. when i plug in again all the lights light up for a second but then go off and nothing will start. Changed filter but still doing nothing. HELP!!??
Set mine back up 3 weeks ago. Immediately got an E02 code. Cleaned filters --- same code. New filters --- no help. Pulled filters and chlorine/bromine dispenser off, turned on. In about 10 seconds a large air bubble shot out off the discharge. Replaced filters and dispenser. Problem solved.👍 Ordering some new impellers and flow sensors for the future to limit down time. UA-cam videos like this are immensely helpful. Thank you.
I got this error the other day and replaced the filter to resolve the error code. However, now the heat does not work although I have water flow. Any thoughts?
I am so frustrated because my spa is very new...I have only used it myself 2 times. Each time it is used after use is finished a sh0rt time the error code starts up. I have cleaned (the almost new} filter and also tried a new one. I have taken them off and run the motor a bit before replacing them, I have swished them in the water before replacing them. Nothing seems to work. I would like to be able to use this spa but can't get it up to temp because the error code keeps going off and I have to actually unplug the spa again in order to get the code to stop. There is never enough time to get it heated up to temp Please help! It seems like this is a defect that needs to be cared for by the company if so many people are having issues with it.
EO2 is a water flower error. It happens anytime the flow slows down, blocked filter. This happens a lot after usage and the filters need to be cleaned / rotated. A simple hose down should take care of it. Also brush the inlet without the filter. Don't run the pump without the filter, this could clog the pump. Try removing pump from the spa and spry you hose into the water inlet and outlet. This will remove any derby
Hi thanks so much for your comment about the spa. What you described is already what ours is doing after only one week. Did you keep yours or return it? I'm already leaning towards return, sadly. Hope you can give me a tip. Thanks so much!

Can you tell me where my Hydro jets and air jets will not run together on my brand new Santorini tub, thank you
That's all fine and dandy but I am just trying to blow it up. Of course there's no water flowing so why this error code?
Thank you for this video. We only just received ours this week. Could the filter be this dirty already?
Yea, the filter can get dirty pretty quickly depending on useage.
@Family DIY thank you for the fix! It was quick and easy. And yes, the filter was pretty dirty after only a week up and running. Now, to work on maintaining temperature...
Thanks!
Mine does that and won’t let me do the initial inflate on a new unit.
Thanks for the tip about using the hose to flush out the heater pump, my filters when I have the E02 code are cleaner coming out than yours going in, so it maybe not the filter at fault. Though to update this didn't work either, had same fault again today, getting fed up with this same fault every 24 hrs.
I have had to do that a couple of times. Really helps!
Another commenter says it could be an air bubble (I have the same issue with a clean filter like you):
Cleaning the filter doesn't work all the time. Even a new filter is not a guarantee. I've found that upon startup, an air bubble (in the pump, I believe) will throw an E-02 code. Taking both the filter and the chlorine/bromine tablet holder off and turning it back on for about 10 seconds pushes that air bubble right out. Then, just put the filter and tablet holder back on. Works every time for me.
same here !
This didn’t work for me. It works fine when I run just the bubble but As soon as I hit the filter or heater button I get the e02’code again. Any other ideas?
@Kittenwolf before connecting the filter to the spa give it a shake under the water to get air bubbles out.
I have a Saluspa S100105 which replacement filters do I purchase?
I think they are all the same. Try googling it.
Love the dinosaur 🦕 noises in the background!
Roar!! 🤣
THX KING! Saves my life😻😻 you’re the best!!!
There is a spa filter cleaner solution comes in a spray bottle really enhances the cleanup
Why would the GFCI cord keep tripping.
Because it is sitting next to some mushrooms 🍄
does anyone know the size of the in/out water fittings from the pump?
Any tips? Thanks in advance.
do you have a video on how to fix the heating element? mine stopped heating above 95
Haven't had that problem yet so no.
Can you shoot water into all 3 of those connections on the pump? My heater stopped working after finding my kids ate eggs in the tub.
Eww...eggs in the tub...lol. yes all 3 holes please
I did it & it worked like a Champ!
I've tried clearing the filter and water is moving like it should and it keeps giving me the Eo2 error could it be the temperature Guage
Our problem is we start the spa everything’s working the bubbles the heat etc. and then it turns off within 30 seconds to a minute do you know anything or any suggestions anything would help
Hey, I had the same issue. I had to clean inside the tube that the filter goes over.
Awesome. Problem solved, thank you!!
Ugh. Thank you. Spraying a hose into the actual pump helped.
Glad to have been some help
Thank you! Worked like a charm.
If my hot tub is low on water. Any it shuts off. It does shut off by its self right.
Perfect thanks man fixed in less then 5 mins you rock!!
Awesome. Glad to hear it!
what is the plastic above the chem connect and filter at the top?
I’d like to know as well!
@@matthankins6074 Just a simple overflow for excess water. Nothing to do with any E0-2 error
what happens if the filter doesnt even turn on at all then the E02 error comes on? Like it doesnt even attempt to start up? Is this more an electrical issue>?
I'm having this issue as well. I turn it on, I can hear a relay click, then it throws the error code.
Thank you so much for this video!
@@FamilyDIY perfect! Have you had any issue with that situation? Do you use any kind of waterproofing around the spa plug / extension cord connection?
I have EO3 code. What's is that one?
Omg thank you was in my room watching tt and herd that beeping sound it was 2 am so the only one up was my dad we just got it thank you so much
Eo4 code now. I’ve fixed every other code.. now this one! Can’t clear it?
I was going to drain mine and return it to Costco for a new one. My last pump got too much full sun and gave out. I cleaned the filter and several hrs later got the code again. I will try getting out the bubbles. I use a floating chlorine dispenser
E05? Any ideas?
Thanks! Gonna go give it a try.
Thank you. Quick and to the point. Look forward to checking out your other videos.
You are most welcome!
Hi we have a new one.we have the eara come up befor we even blow the thing up iv tried reset both buttons can any one help as can not get it to go on
Try shooting water through the water inlet with a hose. There might be a blockage.
I'm just setting up ours. Got an E-02 before I even got it blew up completely. It cold here 30 degrees Fahrenheit
There is a flapper that is part of the water flow sensor. Might be stuck in the cold
Very helpful. Thank you
You are welcome
I just hooked my spa after having it down for 3 months. I filled it up and set the controls and left it to heat overnight. Came out the next morning and half of the water was gone but it was not wet around the spa. It was almost like it evaporated with the top secured, happened twice. Any advice?
That is really weird. Must be some type of leak
@@FamilyDIY thats what I thought but the area around it is perfectly dry
hmm. I am not sure. when you are heating it, is the lid on?
@@dennisthompson2170 water could be going into the inflatable area? Did you figure it out?
@@patriciagallacher2905 It is kind of working if I refill about a foot every 3 days. I am going to have to take it apart. It is leaking near the pump but does not appear to be putting water back into the unit. THanks.
Thank you soo much!! Worked like a charm!
Has anyone found a heavy rain storm could cause the error code?? I keep unplugging and the code happens again and again. The tub is only 5 days old.
Changing the filter worked, thank you!
awesome! glad it worked
Fixed it straight away but I just used a new filter I will save the other one and wash it when I have some time. Thanks
glad to help
Mine powers on but wont do anything when i press the power button
i went over the design of it and ended up drilling a hole in the plastic screw end for the filter housing. solved the continuous error.
Don’t expect your filter to work after that. Won’t filter when going through the screw hole. Bypasses it.
Mine throws the code when I use a filter. Works fine when I don’t have a filter on it. Even new filters throw the code.
We haven’t even set ours up yet, not blown up, but plugged it in to make sure the power wouldn’t trip a breaker. After we plug in, the heat and water button glow and then it throws this error. Any suggestions?
It’s throwing the error cause no water is flowing through it. Setup your hot tub lol
Getting E02 with a new filter, so gonna try that hose thing tomorrow 👍
Mine just stopped working. No error message at all: it just turned off and is showing the temp and nothing else. when i plug in again all the lights light up for a second but then go off and nothing will start. Changed filter but still doing nothing. HELP!!??
Try holding down the power button for like 8 seconds
Anyone has had the problem of the no air for spa effect??? help!
Very helpful! 🫶🏼🦋💜
Mine throw the EO2 code with set up. Just trying to inflate the spa. So there's no water. Realllly confused
Weird. Are all the caps off? Maybe some packaging got stuck in a tube.
Same here…worked fine last year, stored in the basement and now E02 as soon as I turn it on to fill the air….
Problem solved.👍
Ordering some new impellers and flow sensors for the future to limit down time.
UA-cam videos like this are immensely helpful. Thank you.
I got this error the other day and replaced the filter to resolve the error code. However, now the heat does not work although I have water flow. Any thoughts?
Basic question: did you check that you turned the heat back on? I did this once. I only turned on the water pump but not the heater.
I have replaced the filter and cleaned out the pump with a hose. It works for a few days and then E02 error happens again. I am beyond frustrated.
Did you clean the tube that the filter goes over? I had to my pinky. I do not recommend that, haha. Use a stick or something.
How do I fix an error code of 09?
