Wassup Bruddah KB-eh I think we was out there the same day-but we was on the right side by the pavilions-the reel I put out of the O’io spitting out the idako was that day-I saw u guys out there-nice kagami-wish he was 10 pounds heavier though 🤣--Aloha 🎣🤙🏽
Howzzitt!! And oh wow what a coincidence, really was one beautiful day out there. Get mean action in that channel, just get plenty paddle boarders.. But would’ve been nice to hook up into a fat Kagami.. maybe one day😂. Tight lines & thank you for watching! 🎣🤙🏽
@@kaibirrrd3051 yeah I was wondering why had two guys out there so close together with the poles 🤔-now I know 🤣-I’ll be putting a YT vid out sometime soon of that day cuz I got some other good fishcam footage and one of the guys that work with Hungry Fisherman who I was fishing with, caught something at the end of the day. Maybe catch you out there my Bruddah-no shame next time-just throw one Shaka 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
@@kaibirrrd3051 only thing w braid you have to splice like at least 30-40lb mono to braid. That way you have rub line from swivel, mono, to splice braid that comes to reel. I notice the swivel if your dunking to close to the reef and tends to shred or cut. Mono has better abrasion resistance than direct braid to swivel
How you get access to Marine Base Cabanas, get sticker, or fishing pass? Hanabata daze used to camp out all weekend at either Halekoa Beach, or Fort Hase Beach with my uncle a retired Gunny. Good old daze mid 1970s. Fishing pass nowadays restricts you to Fuel Pier and Fort Hase. Fort Hase used to be awesome Moi grounds. Haven't fished there in over 10 years. Mahalo fo da vids. 😎🤙
Thank you for watching !! My Mom takes me on base as she has access haha , choke action over there for sure! Awesome memories though I bet , thank you for sharing - the fishing must’ve been 100x greater back then haha.. take care & tight lines! 🤙🏽🎣
