Would have been weird if it was his brother. The King was already a full grown adult height wise while his "Brother" was still a small child in the flash backs.
The king was a single parent supposedly. The gender of their child is vague but they are stick figures it's easy to just assume they are all male unless they are straight up pink like Purple's mother in his back story.

So, a little something I realized on a second watch, purple proves himself to king by showing he can fight because that’s all his dad ever cared about

If his father ever even cared at all. Seems to me he was just a neglectful asshole who wanted his kid to meet an unreasonable standard. King, by contrast, was a much better father. The lengths that guy would go to for his son are pretty incredible. Which naturally whiplashed into some pretty dark territory when his son disappeared. Purple and King are each pretty much exactly what the other needs/wants. It just took them a bit to realize it.

I like to think that this "Stickfigure City" is Where stickfigures live after most of their games that relied on "Adobe" go to after it was shut down.

I just realized this now, but The Second Coming has a trait called Deletion Immunity. So he was the only one able to resist being consumed by the Double Minecraft Icon's corruptive deletion vortex long enough to slam the command staff through the portal to Alan's PC and into the ground to dislodge the icon and allow the instability to tear the icons away from each other.
I thought that was for like the ava universe only but that make sense now
@@nakedmolerat5964 Well I thought that too until I realized that AvA and AvM are the same world, even though AvA V is the main timeline where AvM Episode 1 becomes the split timeline in the same period. TCO, TDL and TSC all have Deletion Immunity in earlier AvA installments, so they have it in AvM too. Because TDL hasn't launched his attack on Alans PC in AvM yet, it stands to reason that TDL is doing something else, mayhap he is corrupting Minecraft worlds? Learning how the innards of the Minecraft universe works by infecting even prototype virtual reality installations and there will be a climactic final battle where a certain son breaks away from being a puppet avatar and helps TSC use his Protagonist powers to green-beem TDL into byte-sized ashes? Its all very fun to theorize how Alan and his team will lay the plot for AvM Season 4.
@@Avethoare we sure that AVM and AVA are separate timelines? Far as I can tell, they're the same timeline, just set in different points across that timeline. After all, given what we see with the mysterious organization that Victim is running, well... That digital stick figure world is still real in AvA.
@@Caldoric They could be the same timeline, I was just spitballing a theory I had back then, but we won't know unless we get to see major characters from AvM in AvA and see if they know each other yet. Frankly, I'm on board with the idea that in AvA if the gang meets King Orange and Purple, they'll help them against Victim's organization since they've known the gang for a while.

Even though you feel bad for Orange, he's still doing the wrong thing. Its good that he eventually found his heart and seemingly adopted Purple.

Grief will do that sometimes. The combination of rage and sadness was pretty overpowering for him. He completely tunnel visioned his objective, and nothing else ever even entered consideration.

Alan and his team spent more than 5000 working hours over the course of eight months starting in April to bring this animation to life. That’s more time and effort than most influencer youtubers put in a year’s worth of content no lie.
Funny how this entire series stated back in 2006 with Animator vs Animation and became one of the internet’s most beloved flash franchises. Goes to show that something as simple as stick figures can be just as enjoyable as full budget multi million dollar films since collectively, this series has had well over three billion views across all platforms. So yeah, something to think about.

I think it actually happened after the episode where Purple fought the ender dragon. Purple meets king orange with elytra.
Also, for those who don't understand why bringing back the Minecraft launcher to the portal worked like that most likely is because when Purple took it in the showdown episode, it essentially uninstalled Minecraft from Alan's desktop. That's why getting a new Minecraft launcher worked.
Imagine wanting to play Minecraft but finding out that some stick figure that you didn't even create uninstalled it from your computer.
The stick figure animation community is honestly one of the coolest and the most creative. As another series ends, another one begins. I highly recommend looking at some other animations this community made, it will blow your socks off.
Btw This all started because blue/cyan wanted to get his Netherwart
In the youtube announcement post leading up to this, Alan put emphasis on the fact that this is the *season* finale so I bet there will be more!

Holy fuck. This had NO RIGHT being so damned good! This was half an hour long? Time is a lie! Jesus, that was absolutely insane. I'm glad you watched it without subtitles, because that would've just distracted from the visual storytelling.
Just a little correction here... Let's be real, this had EVERY SINGLE RIGHT to be this amazing, after all it was made by the most amazing people

To be honest purple’s and orange’s story’s are heartbreaking because orange lost his son and purple’s mother died and his father never accepted him.
Actually I came up with a theory you see when yellow was absorbed into Minecraft he Got spit out as purple but it put a completely different memory into his head making him believe blue was his dad and orange wasn't... And orange didn't know purple was yellow
The King motivation, in a nutshell, is like if my son went to a trip to the UK and he died in an accident yet. Then, as vengeance, I nuke the UK until it no longer exist.
The way I see it, there are two ways to follow this up.
1. You don't, this was the pinnacle of the series, and Alan is content leaving this as his legacy to AvM as a whole.
2. You start telling a different story, likely with different stick figures, with their own backgrounds and trials.
I honestly do not see any way that you can please everyone going forward from here, and while there may be more options, you can only power creep these characters so much until you hit a ceiling, and by then, you've probably devolved the series significantly to keep the entertainment value as high as possible.
I honestly see this as a logical and satisfying conclusion to the series for red, blue, green, yellow, and of course SC, with few if not no questions left unanswered, and most if not all problems solved for the five.
I think Alan is still going to be doing like bonus content with avm or the stick gang in general, but I don’t think he can create another story with them. Though it is implied that tdl might return at some point, so we might still get something ava related, or just with tco or tdl
Well the next episodes may not have an overarching plot like this season. Like before this season it was just the stick figures exploring the different facets of Minecraft. Doing random things and stuff that can be done in Minecraft.
I want to see that crazy power that SC has that showed up in AVA 5 explored a bit more and when I first saw king orange blasting SC with that corrupting deletion beam of his it might have come out a little. after all SC is immune to deletion while his friends are not and he has brought them back before with that crazy power of his though had no recollection of it.
We could always have them explore another game?

At 7:53, we see that Orange imagines the wall as the glass door, with his son on the other side. This explains why, at 29:03, the wall shatters into glass. Purple is on the other side. A new son. Amazing.
So, if King is a dad, he must be an adult, then the rest of the stickmen are like teenagers
if you think about it SC (Orange) would be the youngest character because he was created by Alan and began life as an adult/teen. meanwhile purple and probobly many other stick figures in the world the King is from were raised from childbirth making them much older.

Alan himself confirmed that The king knew His kid or gold was dead.
Alan here applied what was revolutionary in the 1970's television and cinema: the steadycam shot.
back in the day, TV shows were basically stage theater with cameras... hence the '4th wall break' concept: the camera was where the 4th wall would be, in the 3-wall setup that was the set, as if on stage.
cinema would break with that with their camera rigs, taking the camera to outdoor scenarios like in wild west movies.
but their camera rigs were too complex and expensive to be used in TV studios, until the 1970's with the introduction of the steadycam: a smaller camera on a spring harness that could be carried by an operator without bobbing or shaking.
now a camera could follow an actor through a whole sound stage worth of rooms and props, turning back and changing angles on the fly, without having to adjust lights and choreograph extras so they won't be shot from their backs.
Alan here went from front-shot platformer scenarios to full 3D cinematic action, as seen in Animator Vs Animation 5.
I mean,.... for us, this has been everyday business since the dawn of animation,... but for stickfigure animation, it's revolutionary.

King's son (Maybe I'll call him HY (Honey Yellow, because that's his color to me) got caught in that single world by a who-the-heck-came-from corruption, the world got corruped and we know what happen then, everything in that world... the world itself, got deleted and everything in it
@@rafcor6799 Corrupted worlds don’t get deleted. Even a single bugged item can corrupt a world- but the rest of the data could still be fine. We can’t know if he’s dead without knowing the type of corruption.
@@elementgermanium well, probably that world got deleted after they turned the machine off, maybe by destroing it because I don't think they kept it, because a Minecraft world is just a file and it can be deleted, if they use the machine again in a future, it will be with a new world because if the one we saw got corrupted, there is no way to fix it, also it looks like a rare kind of corruption, probably made up for the story rather than a simple corruption
@@rafcor6799 I doubt they’d delete a world with someone inside, corruption or not. Again, plenty of corruptions don’t destroy all the data- recovery can happen and has in many cases. The fact that it’s made up for the story means we have no way of knowing how it works and thus no way of knowing what it did to King’s son.
To answer your question on the whole 'Teleporting' stuff, it will likely be the case if your body being turned into dust through whatever means possible to kill you *then*, and cellularly reconstruct you whenever you get *there*.
It's shown in one of Merryweather Comics videos.
The setting is Alan's representation of the internet like in animation vs animator 5. All the stick figures are sentient programs and they live there.
If Season 4 ends up being a thing, my theory is that it will focus on whatever "fatal error" occurred and took Gold (what I've nicknamed King's son) and go deeper into the mysteries of Minecraft. I mean, there canonically is a whole book of them. It's also possible that there could be a 2-dimensional Minecraft School series with the Warden instead of AVM Season 4.

they will not continue this season 4 because they reference the minecraft base on updates, mojang release 1.19 but the updates are few. may be next mojang update they will make another story

Well, the Minecraft icon like representes the creative mode, like, more power than just comands, so it makes it canon
I actually just put this together myself, originally in Minecraft you could press "g" to spawn a mob known as a "human"
It was steve but it walked reeeeally goofy. It was also a hostile mob. This is probably what Herobeine is doing, he's spawning humans which, as they're hostile mobs, he naturally rules
Or they could just be normal steves as they don't have a silly ass walk loop and they actually do normal Minecraft player stuff
There are so many references and callbacks to the previous episodes. I was so excited for this, I'm glad your reacting to this. Also one more thing, something I noticed with the king is that, he has a darker orange color, while the others are a bit brighter. And that reveals that the King is so much older than them, I was not focusing on the height.. Eh.. I'm dumb..

There is an option called “Always Active”, which will stay on regardless if there’s a redstone signal or not. This cannot be used like a redstone block.

The king was not trying to save his son, he knew he was dead. He wanted revenge on
Minecraft and he needed the creative block to do it. He chose to fight the gang because they had the creative block and he needed the creative block, also when purple gives the crown to the king.
Purple had the crown because it’s the same purple that was king of the village and tried to steal the dragon egg

Maybe a big bad corporation is behind the incident with kings kid but like that unintentional incident is what made them a big bad corporation after discovering how to use that error as a weapon and king and purple have a side series of slowly hearing about more incidents but they are to similar to be a coincidence and they start looking for information on what is going on and if not to retrieve his son but to avenge him and make sure they don’t recreate the incidents anymore
