In this video, I show how I solo'd several BFA raids in World of Warcraft on my warrior during the Dragonflight expansion. I discuss tips for some of the more difficult bosses and explain why I wasn't able to solo others. Im so angry at Blizzard for gatekeeping solo content so hard. I remember that until some point you could easilly solo basically all the content from 2 expansions back. By easilly I mean one shotting everything in sight...
Right, why is Eonar still unsoloable? It's 6 years old content.....
After much frustration I've been able to solo Eonar, but yeah, the event is not easy and requires a near perfect execution of maneuvers. I'll put that on my list of videos to make.

I dont have a problem with not one shotting. I'd like to go and experience the content solo I just wish they tuned it for solo or 5 mans
Technically they are not gatekeeping solo content. Old raids are still group content that you have out leveled/outgeared most of what made it necessary to kill them before usually in terms of dmg.
I love soloing all the old content raids for transmong gear. Great video 😊

For nyalotha, you can solo heroic all the same as normal If you have better gear (I have 418) and mythic you can do the first 3 bosses at least
Solid effort's. I wondered if i can down some of those bosses myself in similar gear. Sanctum of Domination has some very neat mogs. But i don't think you can solo this.
You can also try Arms spec. I played fury myself for long time. Solid spec for sure. But after blizz buffed / reworked arms that spec become really good. Not only for melee standards but for all specs in the game. Very solid performance. Although the rotation is a slightly on the complicated side.
knew it would be close to time to be able to start soloing BFA
thinkin around season 3 ilvl limits for DF will be the time we can really solo it
Mythic as 419 warrior :
- Uldir mythic doable up to mythrax
- BoD doable up to council, then need 4 ppl atleast, then 8 or more on jaina
- Crucibles not doable
- Eternal Palace, up to council
- Nyalotha, good luck but just do it in group, takes way less time.
403 rogue here, and pretty much the same as all these above.
Do you still need like the cloak or something to do nyalotha
Managed to solo Ra'den as a frost dk, it was a very close fight and took a few attempts, the biggest tip i can share is to save any defensives and heals to power through the tank buster during the last phase and ALWAYS kill void orbs
Very nice! I'll try the void orb strat. I was trying to alternate killing the orbs
you can't really outdefensive the tank mechanic as it's a max hp reduction. You die at a set amount of stacks.
I would really like to see you redo these in 10.1 - a guild member and I tried working through Uldir - could not get passed the orb fight. Kept dying within a second or two. No idea how to beat that fight.
Is ghuun solo able in nhc or hc? In mythic you simply can't start the proper fight because of that bubble thing you have to set him free with
@3:00 I don't think you can split with a pet class since you and your pet get swapped at certain stages and I'm not sure your pet won't come running to you despawning the other statue.
interesting that you tried to do this during season 1, Blizz has made it quite clear that they dont want Mythic Raids to be soloable in an expansion until 2 expansions later, usually around season 3 when the best gear of the expansion is obtainable. so i have a strong feeling that once you have your season 3 gear, most of these Raids are gonna topple over with ease, save for probably N'Zoth, who is gonna give you a tough time. in Legion for example soloing Kil'jaeden and Argus was very tough until recently where people are generally able to overpower them now.
Soloing old raids is one of my favorite things to do outside of current content so I thought I would try it out. I took a break from WoW shortly after BFA came out and then all through Shadowlands so I wanted to catch up on things I missed. I wasn't expecting to be able to solo any mythic bosses so I was pleasantly surprised when I got 3 down in Uldir. I'll be heading back once gear gets better since I want to get the Dazar'alor mythic armor set for my warrior.
Speaking of Kil'jaeden, I am still having trouble with him. Once I figured out how not to get knocked off the platform it seems to bug out for me once the darkness phase starts and Illidan doesn't spawn anywhere for me.
I could kill several tos mythic bosses on a 180ilvl boosted 60 fury warrior and I haven't played fury since WOD and had 0 idea what I was doing in terms of rotation but couldn't finish it
@@vilhjj lol yeah, by all means try it with the new scaling, you're gonna find yourself releasing your spirit to raid trash. lol
@@averagej9668 yeah i actually noticed that Illidan wasnt spawning for me either, i basically had to cheese it by AOEing the mobs in the dark, when i did the lights came back on and i was able to hammer down KJ with wings on before he could do anything more. the bombs were such a pain in the ass, i was glad to see that he went down, cheese me like Deathwing will you? go to hell already!
@@UltimateGamerCCam i missing something does the scaling not take affect until 61? My havoc DH easily solos every mythic Legion raid to the point of 5 second fights pre argus
2 expansions back you should be getting that legacy damage to go along with legacy loot. Too bad they decided to keep it difficult.
bet with that new island your warr is PLENTY able to solo these now
you can complete Uldir in Mythic (cuz I Already did) but u need 2 friends at least with 390 ilevel
THey should make new raid/dungeon difficulty Solo where dungeon/raid scales to 1 person in way you cant one shot but you need to fight normal with some mechanic balanced to one person
can anyone tell me how to solo Opulence mythic as a warrior, im struggling hard
I’m able to solo mythic BFA dungeons very easily with a 396 ilvl, weird that mythic raids are still out of reach
Have you tried some of those bosses with a tank spec?
I did but it didn't make much difference. I would last longer but the decrease in damage held me back.
Mythrax is soloable you’ve just gotta use the jump strat - it’ll take a lot of attempts to get used to it
I didn't realize it was possible. I watched a couple videos where they jump on the rock and that cheeses it. Maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks!
Lock or bust, bro. Hunters used to be good for soloing old stuff but their self-heals are bad now. Soloing old stuff used to be my favorite thing to do until Blizz messed it up in BFA (along with most things). It's so silly that they expect you to get groups for obsolete content.

You'll get it. I wasn't paying attention on my first attempt and got roasted by the floor flames. Unfortunately, I forgot to record the Taloc and MOTHER mythic fights which is why I only had the Zek'voz kill in the video. The MOTHER footage was from heroic.
Maybe prot could do it?
i believe BM hunter can easily solo all the content without a problem.

Not yet but I've been wanting to give a try. It'll probably be a very short run. 😄
What does it take to solo SL dungeons?
You can Solo heroic SL dungeons at max level pretty easily as long as you have decent gear. Like, above 340 or so

Shadowlands will be available to farm next expac. Everything is too strong in those raids ATM.
What about with a buddy or two? Does anyone know if it’s possible if I had a tank, healer, dps trio
I haven't tried any Shadowlands raids yet. I have been assuming I wouldn't be able to kill anything since you typically have to wait for two expansions before you have a chance. I can see if I get anywhere on normal difficulty but I highly doubt heroic and mythic is currently possible.
@@christ938 with friends it may be possible with a party of 5, but Mythic is no doubt going to utterly stop you in your tracks, just because you cant meet DPS checks at this time even with 418 ilvl.
Currently difficult. On the plus side, you have all the covenant soulbinds and abilities to bolster you.
Castle Nathria can be full-cleared on Heroic, but Mythic is probably only doable by the dedicated soloists.
If you want to try for the Sanctum gloomcharger, the first three in Sanctum are soloable on normal. Does require good gear. LFR not yet available. (PLs Blizz, solo LFR when?)

because they hav a 90% less dmg buff and gave you a immun to heal debuff.
