Hello GiGi and Alibiers. Great episode. Kouri Richins is one sick woman. She kills her husband, leaving her children fatherless, and then has the nerve to write a book about children grieving. This woman needs to rot in jail for the rest of her life. 😢😡
Those children will have no parent now, but thank goodness for Eric's family. They seem like great people.

There was a status hearing today and she was legit crying. I think she thought things would go really fast but it is put off until Sept. 1st. Her atty. said she needs more time for the State to provide their case to her. Have a wonderful weekend.

Her entitlement is unbelievable. A good man who loved her, a lovely home, three beautiful children and a career. None of that was enough. Why she thought Eric’s death would solve her problems I’m not sure. She would have had that blown in a matter of weeks.

I feel like we really need to campaign for Men being believed when they are suspicious of their wife with Charles and then now this one, And him talking to his lawyer and his lawyer probably telling him to think about it and him changing it to wanting to support his wife who's going to support his kids if he died, she probably thought he was paranoid and I think this is a huge problem. We really really need to campaign for men to be taken seriously when they have that gut feeling and fear for their lives

If I heard it correctly..Sounds like the prenup gave her some serious motivation to kill him before they were divorced.. but surely she thought she was going to get the $$ from all the 7 life insurance payouts as well… what a greedy person!!
The will is separate from life insurance. I am unclear if he knew about the policies.
But I’m still wondering why Eric didn’t make clear to his wife that she would not profit from his death. Does anyone else find it odd that he made such serious changes in his estate planning and never informed his wife? I’m trying to understand Eric’s reasoning.

The latest I heard was she's suing the estate for 1.9 million. She's unbelievable. I heard her story is that Eric's a drug addict. Give me a break!
Note how Kouri has changed her story about Eric’s COD. She was adamant with LE she didn’t do drugs because she was worried some or all of her insurance companies would refuse to pay the claim. Now after receiving the insurance proceeds she flips her story and blames Eric’s death on him!
Where does Kouri get the money to sue the estate? And is she still entitled to the life insurance money now she’s been arrested and charged with Eric’s murder?

I really detest this chic. Her greedy entitled behavior just gets me. Even from behind bars. I guess she believes she deserves it. All the hard work she put in…🤔🤯
And she started out as a Home Depot checkout person. It is a good guess that she was a gold digger from the outset, banking on her good looks and smile. But she also shows so many sneaky, underhanded traits, chaotic behavior (money owed everywhere, an out-of-control number of bank accounts, etc.)…and her insatiable thirst for money! What kind of pathology does all this add up to?
Wondering about this one. Waiting for one of these cases to totally turn itself on its head, like that with all the appearances of guilt and all the social media mobbing, one of these assumed guilty people turns out to proven innocent of the crime! No judgement, no side-taking, and I am not saying that she is the one to be proven innocent. Not at all. Just saying that there might be one of those cases that might come along, and what drama that will be…!
Betsy Faria's murder, and the wrongful conviction of her husband Russell Faria, which "The Thing About Pam" was based on, is probably the best example of this. I don't know how involved media and social media was in this, but he was considered guilty by almost the entire town and his wife's family. We have had several other wrongful convictions, but those never have the massive evidence that we have had in these recent cases, and were prior to the explosion of true crime on social media. For that reason, I don't see it happening. I think the media mobbing could actually help avoid a wrongful conviction, as people are generally fair, and will advocate for those like Michael Morton, to me one of the most blatant, and terribly sad, wrongful convictions. There was a man in Florida suspected of his wife's death, but never charged, and she showed up alive decades later. It also happened in China, and the ma was actually convicted and sentenced to murder, which was reduced to fifteen years on retrial, and she also appeared alive over a decade later.
Maybe? But going to be so rare!!! We aren’t charging these murderers you know???!!!! The police and DA have evidence to get a judge to bring the charge and arraignment in court shows the evidence UA-camrs are talking about. So your comment here is irrelevant and get off the true crime videos as they aren’t for you!!! We are all here for justice and many UA-camrs are credible and professional only covering what’s been released in public court records! Duh 🙄
Kouri purchased mor Fentanyl a week after Eric died. That blows the Eric was a drug addict claim out the window. She was going to kill someone else.

I gotta say I have sympathy for the defendant. It was wrong wrong wrong to force Kouri to sign the prenup on her wedding day. Did she even have time to read it? The family should have presented her the prenup months before the wedding so that she too could an attorney. That would have been fair. I think the prenup should be voided and Kouri given a fair and equitable distribution of the marital assets. I can imagine the prenup started a resentment that ultimately turned to hate. Eric’s family has blood on their hands too.
It was pretty awful, however, she didn't have to sign it. Sounds like she stole quite a bit of $ from her husband though, not to mention, she killed him so there's that. Also, why the life insurance on her boys? If that's not enough to scare the crap out of his family, I don't know what is. I believe the boys are lucky to be alive.
who told you Kouri was forced to sign a prenup on her wedding day?

I don’t know why, her alleged crimes are awful, but I don’t seem to be able to get as worked up over Kouri as I am about Lori, Chad and Leticia. She might be one of those people who never fits in anywhere. She is almost boring, honestly.
Just watched an entire murder 1 trial this week. Boring. Prosecution lackluster. But was worth getting verdict this afternoon Guilty.
