Greetings im 70 been riding 50 years dirt first street over 150,000 miles 5 years ago adventure bikes freaking cant get enough live in so oregon rode alot of your rides got a 2006 bmw gs 1200 sold the 650l honda love the big GS great vid . People get off your butts and ride it will keep you young!! God bless see ya out there
Love your video’s, I just got an adventure bike, after riding cruisers for over 20 yrs, Got my camping gear, two weeks I am going to do my First moto camping trip in years. Thanks for the inspiration 54 yrs old
Really enjoyed this Travis, thanks very much for the huge amount of work it took to edit and produce. Also a big thanks to the gentleman that put the route together. Well done!!
Ah you were in my neck of the woods. Did you go over the dam or down the road to the south end of the lake? The “Spot” is down a way overlooking the lake. We can get 30-50 bikes up there on a nice day of riding. It’s called the Kermit Viewpoint. Love riding up to Dutchman Peak. Great memories. Nice adventure for y’all.
My first video with you Travis, it was a great adventure for sure. As an Oregon native from Wilsonville, you showcased a very beautiful and wild area of Southern Oregon. I love your style and layed-back attitude. Just got my new KTM and GL bags. Ready to get out there and do the same. Thanks for your share and inspiration, it DID NOT suck!!
Just saw the part where you said if you inspired at least 1 person, your mission was complete. Well you've inspired me man. I live in Arkansas. I'm really looking at getting into a KLR 650 as soon as the finances allow and running the Trans America Trail that crosses through my state. Thanks so much for you inspiring rides
Did you eat at Beckie’s in Union Creek? It’s a mile north of Natural Bridge. If you didn’t you missed a national landmark. So I guess you will have to go back. I believe I seen you in the WABDR with the Dork?? Very good job on the Video. Southern Ore is my home area although I live in Blaine WA now. Good riding for 2023. Take care. Rusty
Really liked this tour. Great style of film-making....unlike those pjs.. Am unlikely to get into the USA like Djokovic, so I'll do this trip vicariously. Interestingly, I've been playing Days Gone again on PS5, a zombie hunter game set in Oregon, around Crater Lakes and Diamond Lakes...uncannily similar to this scenery. They also ride Harley bikes that are semi-ridiculous/advs...
Hey Charles and Danny, miss riding with you guys. Hi Travis. Kinda wish I wouldn't have watched this as now I really wish I could have gone with you guys.
I found by accident…….. so awesome guys!! I subbed, thank you!! Currently have a Harley, I do want to see our great country on the backroads, I’m currently looking …….. Would a Himalayan be able to traverse what y’all traveled? I have lots of videos to watch, so excited to have come across your channel! Whooop whooop!
A Himalayan could do it. Would be slower going and have to pick lines more precisely just due too suspension travel limits, but it could do it. Himi’s are mountain goats when it comes to back country stuff.
@@ExploreAdventureMoto looked like brand new... I'm on a 900# Street Glide in the mountains of western NC... ... I hit gravel on Wednesday... and did a drop like yours but... thank god no damage Btw... Im 64yo now... missed out on the good years
Yes I thought the same when I first heard it. Bit closer to Audioslave I thought. “Carvings” can be found on epidemic sound. That singer is very reminiscent of Chris Cornell.
@@bpound4139 I use their stuff quite a bit when I’m using music. I’m shying away from music in every video, but if it fits I will. Love their stuff I think it’s Carvings with a different singer in this one too ua-cam.com/video/8f4UQb5XgCE/v-deo.html
If I remember correctly, Danny said it was a little buzzy/jumpy due to the really aggressive tires he was using. Other than that he was completely happy. That’s a great bike
I just bought my first adventure bike I live near Oregon city looking to get out and ride and find cool paths.. went with the new 2023 suzuki de 800 if anyone wants to show me the ropes when it comes to adventure riding I'd be all In.
... told the boss he was sick that week ... told the wife he was on a business trip ... told his parole officer he was never more than 5 miles from home
I found the 805 by comparison to have better longevity and a “smidge” more traction for my purposes. It’s moot. I use MotoZ Tractionators now. I would go back to a Shinko 705 if I had a lot of road miles planned though
You claim that that ghost town was the only one left in Southern Oregon but near the Applegate Valley is also the old 3 building town of Buncom. It’s not as cool as what you saw but still cool.
@@ExploreAdventureMotohahahaha! I’m a dumb. I haven’t been there in ages but grew up around there so it’s pretty rad to see the spots you’re hittting up. Gonna have to take my bike down there soon I guess. Just gotta get outta this damn prison. I mean desk job…

Great job Travis and i love to see the Dakar!, I'm obsessed with mine!
Just turned 68 and heading out on a 3000m trip next week. Watched Moto Giant and bought new riding gear head to foot. Ride safe out there.
Thanks for the video amalgamation Travis. Looks like it was a great trip. I really enjoy your content!
Thank you!
Thanks for the ride along! Seriously, this is a great video.
Great adventure and video, perfect Sunday chill watching! Would love to tackle the US BDR routes!
You guys have some absolutely amazing riding in the States 👌💯 so much freedom to off road compared to the UK and many parts of Europe.
Compared to some countries, we are blessed with the availability of places to ride and recreate. I try to not take it for granted
Excellent video…living vicariously through these!
Did that loved it. more north .started in estacada ended up at timothy lake then to 26 back into Portland .all the backroads...

Cool video, Go Ducks!
Just traded my 701 for a AT yesterday. Tell your buddy with the husky to check out the bajaworx windscreen. Much better.
I would sure love to get my hands on your GPS tracks for this trip!
Hey, I would love to tag along with you someday. This route looks great.
At 38:15: 'What is that!'
It's Rabbit Ears.
...as you said a minute later.
That's a big Peyronie's Pine at day2 camp. lol
😂
At the 10:13 mark in the video their is a rider with a 4 pocket hydration vest. What kind of vest is that?
That is a KLIM Arsenal vest
Great video!
Who is the band at 1:05?? Sounds like mid 90's soundgarden, but its not...

Great video, great route! Any chance of getting a gpx file of it? I would rather do this one than the BDR. I'm in Idaho so it's not too far away.
Tell your buddy to wear his boots in water until they are completely wet, then wear them till they dry out. That should take the squeaks out

... told the boss he was sick that week
... told the wife he was on a business trip
... told his parole officer he was never more than 5 miles from home
I know this is an old ideo but what route did you ride? Old BDR route?
Nope. Was a route our friend Mike put together over several years of mapping and scouting
Hernry in a cameo makes a video!!
Why not the TKC80 rear? Explain?

Can you post this route on a map
I wasn’t the architect of the route or the leader. I didn’t do a very good job of tracking it. I’ll speak to the creator and see if he has the tracks.
