Disney Cruise Line Fantasy Day 4 : The Tortula Virgin Gorda The Baths Excursion (Part One)

- Today we arrive at the Tortula British Virgin Islands. Since my family had booked this cruise I was unsure of what to expect. My breath was truly taken away as we arrived into the port. The beauty of this island was breathtaking. Many of the excursions get booked up quickly so take some time and do some research in regards of what you are most interested in! We enjoyed the short boat ride over to Virgin Gorda and took the more challenging path for our adventure. We ended up at Devil's Bay National Park and then was led thru a beautiful pathway to The Baths National Park. The water was PERFECT temperature and CRYSTAL CLEAR! If you don't wish to have the adventure side you can always choose to walk down more of a straight and narrow path to the Baths. Allow yourself at least 15-20 minutes to back to the top of the hill :)

when you were in the water before you started walking to the caves was that a different area or is that all in the same area?
There was 2 paths down to the beach. The left path was a little steeper to get down and we ended up at the Devil's Bay side, our tour guide gave the group time to enjoy and then she led us thru the caves to get to the Baths side. Going back up was not as hard but allow yourself 20 minutes to get back up to the parking area

I was nervous for you guys going into that cave because I could never. All the nooks and crannies and crawl spaces. I would be scared I would get stuck.
At first it was a little nervous and my stepmom has a severe fear of claustrophobia however the tour guide was a phenomenal and even though there was nooks and crannies there was a lot of open areas in between very spacious. I was nervous going down the stairs as I didn't film them but they were only about 5 in wide! So you had to walk down sideways and they were steep. The alternative route was just a straight route down to the baths side of the beach which my dad chose that option haha

The people on the other ship were so jealous they weren’t on the Fantasy! I loved Tortola I was there in August 2023

@@LifeWithLiz3 unfortunately due to one of the hurricanes we got rerouted to those ports and by the time we tried to book something nothing good was left, we did take an open air taxi around the island, it’s so beautiful

The camera doesn't truly capture it. 20 years ago i had visited the Bahamas and I was expecting the island to look like that. I randomly had woke up when we were docking and it literally took my breath away. It reminded me a bit of LUCA ahahha

Was this the Day at the Baths or Virgin Gorda excursion?
The baths are located In Virgin Gorda. When we get off the ship it shows where we board the boat and take a short boat trip to Virgin Gorda to the devil's Bay National Park and the Baths :) the path on the left is the one to take if you want the more adventurous route once you get there. If you do not wish to have the more adventurous or route like my father take the path on the right
Oops sorry I think you might have been asking which one we booked haha. The exact name was tour to Virgin Gorda 89 per adult. Also if you are going to go down on the left side I would highly recommend having your bathing suit on under your clothes when you leave the ship, if you plan to go down on the right side there is a changing area on the right path
