Great video. WOOF from Dungeon Dog of DBMA. Respect to All. HCTHC. Higher Consciousness Through Harder Contact. My next fights are in 14 days, the L.A. Tribal Gathering.

I would really love to see Tim fight one day in person... absolutely respect him as a martial artist allthough many of his DVDs are in my eyes overrated and his claimed dominance when it comes to his system in all of his videos, I honestly can't see it when you see him sparr full speed... he is good but there are so many legit ptk or other styles in my eyes when it comes to real fighting... great video again!!!

I will fight him myself. But he stopped exposing himself and his system to outsiders. Make of that what you will. I look at people like Tuhon Philip Gelinas of the Dog Brothers and even the Grand Tuhon himself to this day still spar. Not Tim Waid though...he uses every lame excuse in the book to avoid being exposed.
Officially, I challenge Tim Waid to a match in the same way he did here. I will get the first hit...and I will get the most hits. If I fail...I'll post my failure and share it openly with the world.

But would you say that Tim was holding back on purpose against Eric in this video? My personal impression comes from buying three of Tims DVDs and I was very disappointed (very expensive and very little content) compared to what I'm used to from so many other instructors...

@@EAGLE-rx6mu I wouldn't say he's holding back, he's just fighting like he's expecting another highly mobile opponent who is attempting single-time counters while flanking (and the one time this is true he scores very well!). Eric just isn't biting initial feints and trying to hit the hand on the first intention, but using cover and countering on the second or third intention once Tim's footwork has established range. Tim's style would probably work a lot better against me, because I tend to over-use my speed to try to land counters on my opponent's entry (although that's something I'm working on fixing so i can develop a "walk through your first intention and rain down a head shot" game)

@@FMASource PTK-SMF Tim Waid student here. I'm curious to know why you have such a low opinion on Waid - I'm pretty sure out of the dozens (if not hundreds of other systems out there) you feel that he's of the ones that need "exposing". Myself, I've never gotten the impression he ducks a challenge - moreso that he doesn't care to bother. I've sparred with plenty of other PTK-trained individuals and never found myself to be lacking in where I could apply what I've learned from him vs. another student (whether it was also PTK or Lacoste, Illustrismo, Sayoc, ect.)
Two people can have vastly differing opinions on the same subject - that's fine; to each their own. but if you've had correspondence with him illustrating a disagreement over efficacy and authenticity, people would definitely deserve to know why you are so certain his teaching lacks integrity. Wouldn't giving people a chance to inform themselves and weed out what they want in a teacher be more beneficial to us all? Don't stoop to Travis' clickbait/YT Drama. I've been following your journey from "theorist" to practitioner and know you're better than that.

I just think tuhon tim wins because he scores two consecutive defanging shots at tuhon eric, imagine if they used blades maybe tuhon eric would not use his weapon hand very well as the fights progresses and may he drop his weapon between the first or the second shot. Well its just my opinion, sorry for my grammar, pugay po sa lahat.

If I see it right, clash #6 goes to Eric since he hits Tim's back of the hand. You stated the handguard negates the point but a ginunting handguard protects the knuckles not the back of the hand.

on FB you can ask Daniel foronda aka Mumbakki this real event
it happened on The Filipino Warrior Arts Research Society FB secret group by invite only
the witnesses are Macachor, Roland isla, Novus Gladius, Felipe Jocano etc.
GT Gaje death threatened, yes, issued death threat to Daniel foronda
this has something to do with The Bladed Hand with Jay ignacio
foronda, ignacio, james u. sy jr, Samuel a. ibe (ex gaje, nene tortal and vinas student),
celestino macachor (via his book Cebuano eskrima) - they exposed the Spanish influence on gaje ptk and also the indonesian Eddie jaffri Silat on gaje and the Old Name of PTK - which is ARNIS AMERICA ASSOCIATION,
on The Filipino Martial Arts Forum FB group - GM Rene Tongson also revealed Gaje used PTK name for SEC Registration without Tortal Family consent, you can see this in the 2018 Convo with Torqui dojillo in Tagalog
Gaje wants the decolonization of FMA replaced by Exotization - same pattern with papadakis, Jade gaje, Survival Arts Academy of Jamie Yancovitz (gaje''s niece) with the Feminisitic motif, and his PH reps Jay Bataclan and Mick Alcaraz BUT
So as a counter, GO to Mumbakki wordpress, The 2012 Affirmation of Support for Mumbakki -
Manifesto of mumbakki and MANY arnisadors VS gaje
Gaje's Dirty Secret insinuated in one of the articles in Foronda's Mumbakki wordpress "Overusing The Words FOrefathers" 2012 Blog , Something to Do with INCEST. Mang Kanor event. read the article.

Never have been a fan of TW drive by fighting style...he is always running around and when he gets a hit he doesn't finish off the guy. Here in San Antonio Texas..the style is corner your guy chop his arms to pieces rebound into a mortal stab. Move on to the next guy It Close Qtrs distancia corta. San Antonio is full of Mexicans( of which I am one) and our game I think just evolved from Mexican style boxing and fighting. I once commented to GN regarding Ed Calderón description of Mexican narcos fighting and torture techniques as indigenous in origin but he Pooh Poohed me flicky wrist style, like I was a noob that didn't know what I talking about..which was like the time my daughter's white girl friends told her that the Mexican restaurants on the Riverwalk were the best in town, regardless of her more than knowledgeable opinion 😂😂
