Such a beautiful spread! I agree with you, I ate FW up but IF was very much lacking for me- the dragons and friends were absolutely done right though imo. IF was good, but I thought there were a lot of unnecessary drama especially in the second part. But I can see where IF is necessary to drive the plot. I definitely preferred part one to part two. What's the pothole you're talking about around @11:00? I think I have an idea but I'm curious 😊
[SPOILER] yes completely agree! and the plot hole i’m thinking of is that if xaden already knew and was friends with brandon, why would he be suspicious of violet when he knew they were related. general sorrengail is “his greatest enemy” but dude you’re already aquatinted with her son..?
@@mingostudio [SPOILER] yeah, I get where you're coming from. I've always thought he was suspicious because she's been under her mom's supervision the whole time. I can see why he's friends with Brandon though, especially if B showed his loyalty to the rebellion.
@@mingostudio [SPOILER] oh, I was thinking of something totally different when you mentioned "plot hole" 😅 I might have missed something in the story where it explains this, but it just doesn't add up to me in FW that the dragons' prev riders died left right and centre, their dragons were perfectly fine and would go on to bond with someone else easy-peasy, but when it comes to Violet and Xaden for some reason it's you-die-I-die-they-die-bloody-everyone-dies.. 😄 their whole story is initially built on this detail but it doesn't make any sense, considering the book mentioned early on that Tairn's, Violet's dragon's previous rider died 5 years prior to her bonding with him and he didn't die, nor did Sgaeyl or her rider. Is this weirdness explained anywhere? 🤭 - Sorry if it doesn't make much sense, I read the book in a different language, so not sure what words were used in English for these details. :)
