Your ed should be free...The Venus Project---education, health, Earth, Universe. BE efficient first. BE educated first. A runaway horse is never caught. BE as a carving knife, a mighty glacier. We are on a Titanic ride under cloud in a carbon farmed slave populated infrastructure. United World youth Org, a generation, silence inheritance like 1989 China. Even quicker(all feasible) TVP as a experiment for the youth, free the old. Too slow is the political system.

It is very important that people who ar uneducated on the subject understand what this technologie is about in terms of recycling and environmental issues. After all they will by and use it.

It seems to me that the focus of their research is on energy density more so than storage cost. It is not really the same thing. The grid needs super cheap storage but density for a stationary application is only marginally important. Vehicles need energy density first, so can still be moderately expensive. They shouldn't really expect their battery prototype to be exceptional for both applications.

Extreme energy storage is mostly important for large scale centralized energy systems. What we really need is a decentralized energy grid, so the whole system doesn't go down all at once. Furthermore, we need local energy production to power the decentralized grid, like I can produce with my self-charging semi-conductor battery. Just scale up the battery to produce the power you need and hook your system to your neighbors. Much cheaper and better for the consumer. :-)

Bio-Cell better for the consumer? That's not a sentence that turns companies on.

That would be a fuel cell rather than a rechargeable battery. Maybe that's worth pursuing, but I don't think it will lead to a rechargeable battery

A thought worthy of consideration. But the complexity of a biological system that relies on enzymatic manipulation of substrates probably would make it extremely difficult to apply to cathode and anode with the electrolyte to provide the pathway between these two. Remember, it took millions and millions

I keep beating my head against my desk. What the heck is going on here?? Why can I find only scant to no info here about the rechargeable zinc/air battery? Is there something political going on? Is there favoritism for Argonne Labs from the gov't? There is a company called EOS Energy that already MANUFACTURES a rechargeable zinc/air battery and sells it to utilities! Is something being suppressed? Might this be so disruptive it will cause an economic upheaval? Look up EOS's batteries. They are many times lighter, cheaper, more energy storage and on a on! I am NOT affiliated with EOS in any way. I don't know them; they do not know me. Its just that the solution is here!! Why aren't we using it? Is there a glitch somewhere nobody's telling us? Maybe there are other great technologies about to come out. That's wonderful. But, this rechargeable z/air battery sounds about as good as u can get. Its many, many times superior to lead acid and even Li-ion.

AA is evolving from the old timers. This is the begging to the Lords alien work. They should be straight up about this. Keep Him as the first love, since they are sent by the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ. That should be the re-dubbed in half a times. Keep it straight with them always, may peace and grace be with you in the Holy Spirit. That spiritual growth continue as it has been as in the begging of this strange work. Kids do your job, you'll be back. Sons of Helaman, and people of many light years. Remember the hippies and the ability of growth in all His science. D&C will guide us in this half of time. To keep watch according to the divine gifts we have received.

JCESR is funded for 5 years and maybe another 5 years? Where are the breakthroughs the Public is paying and hoping for? Three to Four years ago you seemed more sure your goals could be met. Do you really believe another 5 years of funding is a good investment for the tax payers? I;m thinking NO based on what has been produced by the project so far...appears to be a whole lot of research proving nothing will work Having said all this I sincerely hope you prove me wrong.!

There is an idea worth considering! Fixing CO2 by green plants and releasing O2 through photosynthesis. Using biochar as an ingredient when mixed with fertilizers to speed up the growth of plants in the deserts. But can we reduce the amount of energy in the two major sectors that are currently producing most of the carbon foot print? Transportation and Industrial production of CO2?

graphite, your source for graphene, is not as abundant as lithium and most of known deposites are in China. If you end up having to synthesize it, there goes your cost advantage. Graphene, will pobably have to be reduced to nano particles (graphene in solution) to get sufficient surface area and there goes your cost advatage. Hope I am wrong. Good luck.

15 minutes in and still no useful info, just overview of industry, technology, and history of batteries which 99 percent of your audience knows. you started by saying you are going to talk at a high level, B.S. You are just selling a promise of a battery for a specific market so you can keep your funding. you may do it, and I hope you do but until you do stop wasting our time; put up or shut up.
