Canucks are going for it this year, if trading away all your #1 picks away in a single year doesn't show that. Then idk what logic can be said against them not going for it. Vancouver. The only city to riot after losing the Cup. Riot-City deserves a championship title. The Vancouver millionaires won the Stanley cup over 100 years ago. It's been long enough..

As a Flames fan I used to loathe the Canucks. My hatred towards them was only a notch or two down from my hatred for the Coilers. All that said, I’d love to see this Canucks team win the Cup. lol true that. Both are incredible players but I’m not sure Markstrom is a playoff goalie. He’s literally why the Flamers are even in contention for a wildcard spot but he let in some softies vs Dallas and the especially the Coilers when he played those teams a couple years back in the post season.
I feel bad saying it cuz he’s clearly one of the best goalies in the league. Maybe we make a wildcard and he stands on his head and proves me wrong. I hope so.

While I will agree with you on betting on Vegas, the rest I don’t. Boston and Detroit are just two teams. Vancouver has crushed Edmonton, Florida and the NY rangers handily this year. They’ve won the season series with Dallas and Carolina. They’ve played off the last two games, that’s bound to happen when you’ve played phenomenal hockey most of the season. They have also lost two games in a row once before. I think that says it all. Now I think in a 7 game series against Vegas, I don’t know if Vancouver can beat them. They are quick, defensively sound, and tougher. Edmonton though?? They got squashed by Vegas, swept the year before by Colorado. (The only time they’ve made it out of the second round) prior they got beat out by weak teams. Unfortunately if you put your money on Edmonton winning… you’d lose a lot.
