Southern California has an emotional collapse when confronted with the realization that snow is frozen water. Look, people who live in the mountains should know how to prepare for things like this.
Here's the thing. Don't complain when you moved out that far too be away from people and then you get snowed in. You live in a mountain how do you think your not going to get snowed in?
Just so people know a help us sign is only good enough to let people know you need help they still need to know what you need. The right way to do it is to put a big help us sign then a smaller sign letting them know what you need. the big sign is to catch their attention the smaller will get the help to you faster. if all you need is food/ water that can be air dropped. if you just have the big sign they will need to put boots on the ground just to find out what you need.
For all you soulless people that want to act like you'd be prepared or that others should be, hopefully you're next so you can actually be tough instead of acting. Strong people care about others, weak people have to go through it to care.

In the 90s, we didn’t see help till the water went back down by itself.😂
Help these people,. Send less to Ukraine and send it to our own. This is ridiculous.
Why? They live in a secluded community a exclusive community mind you. They should have been prepared there was fair amount of warning. You are either prepared or you prepare for the worse. All residents that live in areas far from anywhere know this except people who live in So California. You don't see people in the Sierra's stamping out HELP US we're starving do you?
I agree
@Air Supremacy Trying to beat everyone in the neighborhood for those Instagram shots before the snow melts and pissed off because they can't get out of their house.
Big Bear and Arrowhead area is full of city folks wanting to be in the mountains, maybe it's time to stop being flat landers and put your big boy mountain panties on.
@@sh0t0kan coming from a 15 year old living with mom, this means absolutely nothing to anyone other than other 15 year olds and bots.
I pray yall get help soon...
Prayer will do nothing, the so called guy in the sky did this to those poor people in the first place
Isn't this area part of the county that wants to secede from CA and be self-sufficient? Imagine how much worse things would be without Caltrans, Cal Fire, CHP, the CA National Guard, etc.
This is in southern California...San Bernardino mountains.
I think it's an area of northern California that wants to secede.
@@jaytee2642 Yes, some northern California counties have wanted to secede for a while, but now San Bernardino County has recently expressed interest too as well.
@@lorenm9445
Seriously? Wow, I hadn't heard that one.
Biden has 2 words for ya!
You Didn't Prepare.
They live in a 1 to 2 mile high wall of mountains facing south toward the pacific. I know this does not happen very often that far south and at that low an elevation in the mountains, but it actually surprises me it has not happened more there.
This will happen each year from now for 100's to come. Grand Solar Minimum is here.
should say 'send more beer' how hard is it to stay inside for a few days lol
Like we say in Tahoe. Less talking and more shoveling. You shovel till you back gives out and then you go out the next day and do it all over again.
I pray for an army of snowplows to pull together to help these people out.
🙏🙏❤❤
Call Governor Newsome tell him to get the National Gaurd up there to help those people.
Then hold their breath until he shows up.
I wish we would get some sno like that in Eastern Pennsylvania. We haven't gotten any like that in a while.
I'd enjoy a good foot or few so I don't have to go to work! Only got 7 inches today in Vermont.
Same here in NY we got more rain then snow this year ever! I blame geoengineering and climate engineering !
Few years back we had a pretty strong earthquake in Virginia. California laughed at us but who’s laughing now? Joking but in all seriousness I agree with another poster-we are responsible for ourselves. Adults prep for bad weather 😅
Fly a Ukraine flag. Then the help will come
PLEASE SEND MORE BAD WEATHER HIT HARD TO CALIFORNIA.
Why ?
Seriously people need to wake up!
@@montyi8 they deserve it
Hard to think that these people seem so helpless ,forgive me but it's what I see
.years ago people did what they could ,thre best they could with what they had ,no complaining ,tpo many seem to rely on societies help instead of themselves
we moved here for the easy life. come get us.
Yet the cali gov is helping the migrants with everything
They actually work. 🥁
Illegals u mean
God Bless them!
Oh, he is…….for their degeneracy and debauchery😂😂😂😂
Seeing as the people here live far away from basic necessities I think this falls more on their own shoulders, You live in a state that this doesn't happen often in. So you need to step up and make an effort. I live in the UP Michigan and have dealt with this kind of snow yearly.
Southern California has an emotional collapse when confronted with the realization that snow is frozen water.
Look, people who live in the mountains should know how to prepare for things like this.
This is unusual in southern California. They're unused to this type of weather.
I think they just want to be airlifted in a luxury hotel. So they want someone to come to her, so she ensures she will leave with them as well!
Governor Newsom will come to your rescue as soon as he comes back from vacation🏝️🏖️🏝️🏖️🏝️🌄🌄
Prayers 😢🙏
I would suggest looking for vacant cabins and borrowing supplies from the neighbors they won’t mind.
Looks like Gavin newstead really cares .
I hope these people get help !
Sate of Emergency was declared 5 days ago. Look at Ft. Meyers Florida that is still a mess. You are dishonest.
@@philmabarak5421 it dosent change the fact that Gavin is doing nothing to help them
Your fault for not having food, governments fault for not clearing the streets, what if there was an actual emergency.
Your on your own folks... get used to it.
Newsome - voted in again and not recalled just went on his Vacation.... you guys have to wait till he comes back.
Yup
For all you soulless people that want to act like you'd be prepared or that others should be, hopefully you're next so you can actually be tough instead of acting. Strong people care about others, weak people have to go through it to care.
Taxpayers are posting the same message everywhere.
I don’t get people. This is the same as the doorknobs that remain in their homes despite an evacuation warning. They were warned, they could have left, gone to a hotel, gone to a shelter etc. but they stay and cry after…. What did they expect?!?
Billions of dollars sent to Ukraine but this is how the government treats the American people shaking my head
The lesson here is don't live in the Donner pass. I feel bad, but you need to know where you live and what to expect.
People that live up in Donner have more sense, these are city folks living in the San Bernardino mountains.
Donner pass is near Truckee. That's nowhere near San Bernardino. I bet you don't know how many stars are on the USA flag without using Google.
@KB sorry I don't care about Cali; I'm just waiting for them to fall into the sea. But you sir coming from the "entertainment capital" of the world; one might think you understand sarcasm or jokes. And btw it's 51, oh wait forgot we said eff off Puerto Rico and the DR. Wanna test some more knowledge? You seem you're engaged; maybe we could philosophies together. Could you keep up?
Hmmm...Wasn't there a famous "party" of people that ignored warnings and got stuck up there a hundred years ago or so?
California is a big state.
Donner Pass is NOT in the San Bernadino mountains.
Snowing again 3/5 in Arrowbear and freezing temperatures in next week or so, that snow will not melt for quite a few weeks. Not good.
HOLD ON A MINUTE! Wasn't this the same line in Dusk till Dawn? At Liquor world.
Who lives high in the Sierras in the middle of winter, an area, known for mega blizzard and not have a couple or three weeks of food laid in
Imagine spending millions on a Mcmansion in the mountains in Cali and then being shocked when you get snow lolol
My rental was $1500….
Its a post code lottery! Please help them!
The story contradicts itself so many times, go back to media school
Impeach that governor he left and went on vacation before the storm hit
When you live in remote area, you ought to have some stock for 2 or 3 weeks. Thats just a no brainer.
Better dig a little faster!
It only hurts this much right now. TS
California's ain't ready for this type of weather, they too busy being laid back
... i just hope people exhibiting callousness on other people's tragedy be prepared for ALL eventualities or calamities in life ... people living in southern california never expected 16 feet of snow in just 2 days in month of february ... no one expected this ... and no one wanted this ... i may be agnostic ... but i still believe in KARMA !!!!
That area got 109" so about 9 feet, over just 7 days. They usually only get 22 inches all winter so it's a lot for them but there are areas that were hit much harder. I think ignoring the weather service warnings and not preparing is the exception and not the rule but the exceptions get the best viewer ratings. Our new neighbors are city types from Texas and I'm pretty sure I'll be bailing them out one year.
@@antilogism ... our california rescue team landed in turkey 2 days after the earthquake ... and it is over a week now and californians are stranded in snow ... as if these snow crises never happened in the east coast or any part of our country ... just saying ... if we could be in turkey in 2 days why not be there in 2 days at our very own backyard (california) !!!
It has never snowed like this in this area, be nice people. These people are in need of food and supplies!
They will survive..probably not have any luxury foods etc. But they will survive. The snow is going to last forever.
I just laugh that they can spend half a mil on those houses but those houses can't withstand a Snowstorm
Andrea, I've NEVER lived anyplace where I had the slightest possibility of being snowed in...but I've always had AT LEAST a 2 weeks supply of food on hand. Minimum!!
And Californians are SUPPOSED to be prepared for an earthquake. I guess we can see how things are going to be when that happens.🤦🏻♀️
Im sure somewhere theres a tiny violin playing...
The snow is 9 feet 10 feet high!
That’s not too bad.
⚠️🌲 for all of the uneducated mountain people skiers and snowboarders be sure you stay away from the tree Wells or you will be found when the snow melts⚠️🌲
Prayers for you 🙏
Why
Lmfao they asked for help not prayers by sending prayers you are ignoring them 😂😂😂
After this, these same spoiled rich kids will still not prepare for the next time.
Goodwin and sons market was a beautiful store ask me the heart of crestline. Cant believe it got destroyed. Owners said insurance will not cover their losses. Im sure they will find a way to rebuild but it will take over a year to reopen im sure. Almost 200 employees out of a job
Looks like Winter to me , I just wonder why not use skis it is fast and on an unplowed road even faster than driving
It never snows in southern california-ha...
All they worry about is sending money to Ukraine! Not helping the people here in America.
they KNEW IT WAS COMING and CHOSE to brush it off
Donner Party
The ruf! It’s called a roof.
I've never seen such "a neatly written help" sign, not crooked, letters the same size, etc
There's no footprints between the letters🤔
They can call if they can charge their phones. No power, no charge.
We in the Midwest got it good this winter 😅
That's what happens when rich people choose to live separately
