  • We actually connected with this car when the owner was having a 289 engine rebuilt at another shop. He wanted us to install Mustang II front suspension, and we were in for a big surprise when we started sanding the engine compartment which you will see.
The owner’s wife didn’t like the color, so next they asked us to paint the car. When we started sanding we found a lot of rust that had been repaired with fiberglass mat and bondo. We hope you enjoy this first episode and learn tons! Be sure to stay to the end and see the beautiful finished car!

A new cowl, yet the vents got covered. Had to be by request from the owner.
Your shop does absolutely amazing work! So thorough, and meticulous. If I ever need paint and body work on my 68 GT, I know where to go!
However, I bought my Acapulco Blue Deluxe 68 GT in 1989 from the original owner. Never needed much more than a respray.
Love watching your videos, and the music isn't bad, also.

The cowl had rust. Will have aftermarket AC and they have you cover the cowl vents under the dash. No it was my idea. I did it on my 1968 Coupe. I will let my wife know. She has a hard time with the music.
